Holy granola this house! It was immaculate and beautiful and perfectly laid out! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and the location is chef’s kiss! My kids and I loved every minute of being in this home! Hot water and great water pressure, secluded enough but not isolated, and we cannot WAIT to go back! We don’t add many Hendy homes to our “return to” list but this one for SURE will be!

Property was pet friendly and nice. The dishes and sheets were not all clean, the location is a bit further out than advertised, and the furniture would not be comfortable for a long stay. The location was beautiful and it was nice to have a place to go with the dogs.

My colleagues and I always use VRBO when traveling. I have to give it to these guys, the home was spotless and the communication with management was top notch. Would definitely stay here again when we are in the area...

We spent thanksgiving here with some good friends. We had a wonderful time. The kitchen was perfect and very well stocked with everything we needed. We loved the wood stove. It kept the main cabin warm and cozy all day. Ingles is right down the road which was very helpful. We did have a minor issue not even worth mentioning but the owners went above and beyond to remedy it. 10/10 would stay here again.

There were MANY issues with this property, I took photos and sent them to owner. They did try to make it acceptable but having the cleaning person and lawn maintenance person doing work while we are trying to enjoy our vacation is not right. Crusted food on the worn out pans was only one of the issues. Sheets were cheap and pilled up, felt like sandpaper ( they came and changed them at my request). Mold on the garbage can lid that reeked. Place was just not ready for guests and we booked well in advance so our arrival was no surprise. We did get a partial refund but it was difficult to obtain. I will not stay here again or any property this host (which is a company) has. Do not recommend.

We're sorry that parts of the home fell short of the standard we hold ourselves to, and having cleaning and lawn work take place during your stay is not the experience we want anyone to have. The pans have been replaced and the linens swapped out, and our housekeeping team has been notified about the items you documented so they can be addressed properly. We do want to gently clarify a few points for future guests. When you asked ahead of your stay, our local team confirmed the home has ice cube trays rather than an ice machine, and arranged for ice, coffee, and creamer to be delivered ahead of your arrival. The home is set up for streaming rather than cable, which is noted in the listing so guests can decide before booking. On the refund, our team responded the same day and honored your request promptly. We take your comments seriously, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. The VueStay Team

Once we were able to get into the cabins everything was very nice. They gave us a 10 digit code that we did not need to get into the smaller cabin (there was a key)and did not give us the 4 digit code to get into the key box….had to call for it…very confusing!

Welcome to the mountains

Not a bad spot. Beautiful lot, great view, comes with nice appliances and furniture to enjoy the indoor and outdoor space. Loved the fire pit and convenience of two cabins. Great price for a shorter trip or if you need a place for a few weeks. Be aware that you are in the woods and that means there animals all around you. Sometimes they get closer than what you would like. Still a really cool spot, if you like the outdoors, check it out.

Perfect Fit

As a tradition, we visit Hendersonville every year as a family to go apple picking. This is our 5th year and our first time staying at The Mountain Perch. We will definitely be back to stay here. It fit all our needs from the living area, kitchen, bedrooms and every provided amenity. We did not realize until we got their that we had access to both buildings and it was a perfect match for us. We only had issues with the lock box and code for the one bedroom/one bath building. We had to call for a code to the lockbox outside and never could get the 10 digit code to work for the one lock. Overall, we were pleased and will be back.

Beautiful place

This a really nice place and we were grateful to find it. I hate being critical about it but I appreciate others honesty so here we go. The one issue we had is that they have mouse issues and the traps had not been cleaned out before we arrived. Our dog found the trap but thankfully did not get into the mice before we noticed. Having struggled with mice infestations in past homes I know that this is a major headache. But the owners need to get a system where traps are cleaned before guests arrive.
