Escape to the Lone Duck Lodge in picturesque Bourbon (1 hour from St. Louis). Entire lodge is Anthropologie & vintage inspired with much thought & effort to make your visit the best possible. As you enter the lodge you are greeted w/ huge soaring ceilings, majestic chandelier & mounted taxidermy throughout coupled w/ bougie coffee corner, 5+ hip themed bedrooms, including a bunk room and loft area, fun pool/deck area & private stocked lake w/fishing poles already strung just waiting for your cast. Nestled in the woods with a big yard for games, running around or playing fetch. Play some "horse" on the back patio hoop. In the morning make your gourmet coffee, enjoy the calm of the country on our comfy back porch. Don't forget to say "Hello" to our chickens (you will get fresh eggs from them upon check-in). Looking for more adventure? Go for a hike on our private marked path through our 11 acres of woods. Save time for the stand-up paddle board or fish from the kayaks or rowboat! The evenings are best spent around the campfire sharing stories, s'mores & laughter while watching the stars shine brightly above.

Fully furnished, with a kitchen with all of the basic needs. WiFi available, Roku TVs for streaming. Full HVAC, Washer and Dryer, bluetooth speaker. Ring cameras on the front door and on the side of lodge, and a trail cam is pointed on the chickens to keep an eye on them.

Perfect for girl's trips, guy's long weekends, or fun for your family & friends. Try Sullivan golf course (it's a not a bad round at all). Onondaga Cave is 20 minutes west and Meramec Caverns 20 minutes east. Meramec state park is short 15 minute drive. Plenty of cool thrift stores in Sullivan and antiques in Bourbon. Enjoy a brew and a burger at Muddy Banks Brewery in Sullivan or brunch at the Bourbon Saloon Cafe. Mo Hick barbeque in Cuba (30 min drive) is delicious.

Now the NO's...
No fireworks, no bonfires, NO Cleaning fee because we trust you will leave it in good shape. We want you to have a blast but please be respectful and keep load noise down after 11pm. When grilling, keep an eye on those burgers and brats please, as the whole place is made of wood. Swim at your own risk in the pool. Use the pond on your own risk, obviously no lifeguards on duty. Watch your step on the deck, there may be some uneven boards and please keep in mind you are in the country so you may encounter some bugs, but we do our best to keep them out. Wild critters may also pay you a visit we have never seen any harmful ones. The deer are always lovely to look at in the mornings on the back porch while having coffee.
