Pull in and the world goes quiet: around the fenced pool courtyard it's just the family, the water, and the birds, with the occasional glimpse of the neighbor's goats grazing beyond the treeline — a reminder of how green and tucked-away this pocket of the city feels. It's calm, safe, and residential, yet the Shoppes at EastChase — shopping, restaurants, and the week's grocery run — sit only minutes from the driveway. And because the home was taken to the studs and fully renovated, everything you touch is updated, solid, and cared for.

You're tucked away on the quiet east side, on your own private acres — yet fifteen to twenty minutes from nearly everything a family comes to Montgomery for.

Here for a reason? You're set. A reunion, a wedding, a graduation at Maxwell Air Force Base (about 25 minutes), a campus visit to Auburn University at Montgomery just up the road (under 10), or in town to welcome a new grandbaby — Baptist Medical Center East, where so many Montgomery families choose to deliver, is barely five minutes away by the back route through the AUM campus. Whatever brings you, there's room for everyone and an easy drive in any direction.

For a full day together, downtown is about 15–20 minutes away:

• The Legacy Museum & National Memorial for Peace and Justice (~18 min) — Montgomery's most powerful, must-see experience, tracing the city's central place in American history.
• Rosa Parks Museum, the Civil Rights Memorial, Dexter Avenue King Memorial Church, and Old Alabama Town — history the whole family can walk through together.
• DABOS Park (~18 min) — the Biscuits' freshly renovated ballpark (formerly Riverwalk Stadium), with a brand-new kids' zone and Food Truck Row; the easiest crowd-pleaser of the trip.
• The Riverfront & Riverwalk — riverboat cruises, outdoor concerts, and walkable restaurants along the Alabama River.

For the kids and the energetic ones:

• Lagoon Park (~15 min) — Montgomery's hub for youth baseball, softball, and tournaments; when the kids have a game, the whole crew can roll up together.
• Montgomery Zoo & Mann Museum (~20 min) — 800+ animals across 40 acres, a petting zoo, and a giraffe-feeding deck.
• Montgomery Whitewater (~20 min) — Alabama's new outdoor adventure park, with guided rafting for ages 8 and up, plus tubing, climbing, and riverside dining.

And for the golfers in the group, the legendary RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill is about a half-hour north in Prattville — three championship courses that make Montgomery a true golf-trip destination. Closer to home, the Shoppes at EastChase — dozens of stores, restaurants, and your grocery run for the week — sit just minutes from the door, with Wind Creek Casino a quick 15-minute hop east.

The kitchen is the real headquarters for a group this size: built so several cooks can work at once without bumping elbows, with a table that seats 14 and more seating scattered through the house. Montgomery is a spread-out, car-friendly city, so the easiest way to get around is by car — and parking here is effortless: a long private driveway plus a covered portico mean room for every vehicle, with no street parking or shuffling.

There's no subway or passenger rail, and the city bus system is limited and not practical for visitors, so plan to drive or use a rideshare. Uber and Lyft both operate reliably throughout the area.

From the house, most of the city is a quick drive: about 15–20 minutes to downtown and the major attractions, with the Shoppes at EastChase (shopping, dining, groceries) just minutes away. Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM) is roughly 20–25 minutes; Birmingham about 90 minutes, Atlanta about 2.5 hours.

With a group this size, plan to bring or rent a car for your stay — your own wheels make everything easy.

This agreement outlines important details about your stay, including house rules, check-in/check-out procedures, and other essential information.

Early Check-ins, Late Checkouts: Pending availability on our calendar, we are happy to accommodate most early check ins and late check outs. The price is $20.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour. Please reach out ASAP to ask for potential extensions.

Security & Monitoring
For the safety and security of our guests and the property, we have motion-activated cameras installed on the exterior areas only. These cameras record audio and video and monitor entrances, patios, and pool areas (if applicable).

Additionally, we use a noise monitoring device inside the property. This device does not record audio or video but helps us ensure that noise levels remain respectful for neighbors.

AGE REQUIREMENTS The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years of age for an apartment and age 25 for a single family house. The primary booking guest is required to be present for the duration of the stay and is responsible for all guests, visitors, and compliance with house rules. Reservations made by guests who do not meet the minimum age requirement may be canceled prior to check-in or during the stay, without refund, if the age requirement is found to be misrepresented. This policy is in place for safety, insurance, and property protection purposes and is applied consistently to all guests.
