Tucked into Venture Out Resort on the east end of Panama City Beach, Sunset Beach is built for the kind of trip where the days stretch a little longer than planned. The open-concept main floor keeps everyone in the same orbit — someone prepping lunch at the kitchen island, someone else sprawled on the sofa, the back doors thrown open to the grill and outdoor dining setup. There's an outdoor TV for game days, an outside shower for the post-beach rinse, and a washer/dryer for the inevitable sandy towel rotation.

Three bedrooms sleep eight comfortably. The primary suite features a king bed and a private ensuite bath. A second king bedroom offers another grown-up retreat, and the third room is set up for the younger crowd with a twin-over-twin bunk plus a pullout couch — easy to flex between cousins, kids, or an extra adult. Two full bathrooms plus a half bath keep mornings moving.

The real bonus: a golf cart comes with the rental (signed liability waiver required) for use throughout Venture Out — from beach runs to ice cream loops, the cart turns getting around the resort into part of the fun. And there's plenty to get to. The gated, 24-hour-secured community sits between the Gulf and the Grand Lagoon, with two pools to choose from — a beachside pool with a clubhouse, concession stand, and restrooms, plus a shaded kiddie pool for the little ones. Tennis courts, a pickleball court, putting green, playground, and basketball hoop round out the on-site lineup. On the lagoon side, a private marina lets you launch your boat, paddleboards, or canoes, and a brand-new fishing pier with a cleaning station is ready for the day's catch.

The Gulf is right there too. Private beach access on site includes two chairs and daily umbrella service — that powdery white sand and clear, shallow water Panama City Beach is known for, without the crowds. Even better, the resort backs up to St. Andrews State Park, with the entrance just half a mile away and beaches that touch, so you can walk for miles along uninhabited shoreline. The park's 1,200+ acres include jetties for snorkeling and the ferry over to Shell Island when you want a true off-grid beach day.

Charter fishing runs out of the nearby marinas, and several spots along the lagoon sell the day's catch of fish and shrimp straight off the boat. Schooners (the self-proclaimed "last local beach club") is minutes away for sunset drinks and live music, and the restaurants along Thomas Drive — Saltwater Grill, Firefly, Capt. Anderson's — handle date nights and group dinners easily. When you want the full boardwalk-and-shopping fix, Pier Park is a 20-minute drive west.

Parking Details:
- On-site parking for 2 cars max - $75/car.
- At the guard gate, announce yourself as a guest of the property address, and they will issue a parking pass to display in the windshield of your vehicle.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
