Welcome to `The Nest`! From convenience to comfort this gem is a perfect retreat! Our home is centrally located just 4 miles from Ft Jackson, 3.5 mile from USC, & 5 mile from Colonial Center/Vista/business district. Come home to relax and enjoy all the amenities from cozy couches to 3 private bedrooms equipped w/ flat screen TV`s. Or gather for a family meal, enjoy our outside deck/ grill & lg fenced yard or play at the park. Clean & comfortable -our nest is the perfect place to rest!

During your stay enjoy free WiFi , cable and Smart TVs. A Keurig for fresh coffee every time! We`ll provide a variety of cold drinks and snacks or you can fill the refrigerator with all your favorite foods - from organic to franchised grocery stores they are all close by. Our kitchen is stocked with many of the essentials for cooking or see the Bites and Sights brochure for a description of many local restaurants. We provide clean crisp sheets, soft pillows, extra blankets, fresh fluffy towels, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. There are board games, cards, puzzles and corn hole for play. Pets are welcome and the neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs! We are pet lovers but please don`t let them rule the roost; use the provided gate or a crate when you are away. In the pet basket you`ll find items like food bowls, toys, treats, a leash and poop bags. Pet bed and a crate are available with advanced notice. For your convenience a washer and dryer is available for lightly soiled clothes -detergent, starch, iron and an ironing board are all located in the laundry area. There is a park just a block away, many shops and plazas close by, or if you prefer, there are two large malls. An if time allows, there are many wonderful and exciting things to see and do in Columbia -The Riverbank Zoo, Columbia Art Museums, Ed-Venture, The State Museum and planetarium, the riverfront walkway, Soda City market, historical homes and tours, Congaree Swamp, Saluda Shoals, Sesqui. Park, Harbison Trails and Lake Murray.

Guest are allowed access to all rooms, back deck and fenced in backyard.

Rosewood is an established neighborhood with many mature shaded trees and great roads for walking, running, or biking. There are locale parks for the kiddos and pets, and many locally owned restaurants, coffee shops and retail stores.

Columbia is the capital city with many options for entertainment, but when navigating by car, it feels like a small town. With GPS or a good map, getting around is very manageable. Parking is a snap with many free options as well as metered spots and parking garages downtown. You can even download the Passport Parking app and electronically pay.

No car, no problem.... Uber are Lyft services are available. E-Rover is a FREE shuttle for anyone visiting on business who needs to get around within the 36 block radius of Main St. Comet, our transit bus system, is available for rides as low as $2. Or hop on the Soda Cap Connector when in the Vista for a FREE ride from one entertainment district to another.

Feeling adventurous, see the city on two wheels.... Blue Bike SC offers electronic powered bikes available for rent for as low as $2 for a single trip. Columbia offers 15 sites where you can pick up and drop off the bike while exploring the downtown area.

We enjoy our furry four legged guest but please don’t allow them on the furniture. Gates are provided to allow them free range of the large laundry area when you are away from the home.

Respect the Neighborhood:
The Nest is located in a quiet, family-friendly residential neighborhood.

*NO PARTIES OR EVENTS without prior written approval.
*Small family gatherings may be considered with advance notice and owner approval.
* Please respect our neighbors by observing QUIET HOURS FROM 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM**.
*No 3rd party bookings (the person making the reservation must be staying at the property)
*No commercial photography or filming.
*No illegal activity or illegal substances on the property.
*No glitter or confetti (surprisingly common and difficult to clean).
*If using the grill, turn off the propane and never leave the grill unattended.
* Exterior security cameras monitor the outside of the property for guest safety and to verify occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home.

Registered Guests:
* Only guests included on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight.
* If you plan to have visitors during your stay, please contact us in advance for approval.

Pet Policy:
We love welcoming well-behaved pets!

* Maximum of 2 dogs. Additional pet fees may apply.
* Pets may not be left unattended in the backyard.
* Please minimize barking out of respect for our neighbors.
* When leaving the house, please confine pets to the laundry room using the provided gate or a crate. Pet crates are available upon request.
* Pet beds, bowls, toys, waste bags, and a leash are provided for your convenience.
* Please clean up after your pet immediately and dispose of waste in the outdoor trash receptacle.
* Pets are NOT permitted on furniture or beds.
* Please wipe muddy paws before entering the home to help keep our white linens and furnishings clean.

Caring for the Home:
* No smoking or vaping inside the home.
* Please report any accidental damage as soon as possible so we can address it promptly.
* Before checkout, please start a load of towels, wash the excessive dishes, and secure all doors and windows.
* Do not make a dirty bed. Leave the linens; housekeeping will take care of them.
