The hamlet of Weitendorf on the island of Poel is idyllically situated on the shores of Lake Kirchsee, about 1.5 km from the main village of Kirchdorf. You won’t find any mass tourism here. Silence reigns, interrupted only by the lively chirping of birds. In recent years, the island of Poel has strived for—and successfully achieved—a form of “gentle tourism.” You won’t find high-rises or tourist centers here. However, you don’t have to miss out on recreational activities on the island or in the surrounding area.The largest sandy beach in Timmendorf on the island of Poel is only about 4 km away! All beaches on the island of Poel are suitable for families with small children and for non-swimmers. The beaches slope gently almost everywhere, causing the water to warm up faster than average.

You’re welcome to play table tennis, relax, have a barbecue, and more in the garden.

You can store your bicycle in the carport next to the house and park your car in front of the house.

Möwennest:

The vacation apartment is located in a “Büdnerei,” which is a small Mecklenburg farm. From 2004 to 2022, the Büdnerei was used as a guesthouse. In 2023, it was converted into vacation apartments.

This vacation apartment features a large living and kitchen area with a cozy sitting area, satellite TV, and a separate dining table for 8 people. The kitchen was refurbished in 2023 and is equipped with a kitchen island, a ceramic cooktop, an oven, a range hood, and a fridge-freezer combo.

All three bedrooms have their own bathroom (shower, toilet, sink). One bedroom is designed for four people, and two bedrooms are each designed for two people. The headrests on six of the beds are adjustable. A minibar is available in every bedroom. A travel crib for children can be provided.

A linen package is available for rent at €18.00 per person (€10.00 in the low season / €8.00 in the high season). Please select this option during the booking process if needed.



Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is from 12:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
