This cozy vacation rental, featuring a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, accommodates 2 adults and 2 children (up to 10 years old, bed length 160 cm). The cozy sleeping areas, with their cabin-like charm, offer well-deserved relaxation for the adults in the comfortable bedroom and adventurous dreams for the little ones in the bunk bed. The alcove for the bunk bed is built into the hallway. From the balcony, you can enjoy the morning tranquility and the first rays of sunshine with a cup of coffee.

Upon request, an additional double room, located right next to the vacation rental, can be booked for an extra charge. The room has its own TV and balcony access. The bathroom in the vacation apartment is then shared.

A washing machine and dryer are available to all guests in the basement for a fee. The basement features a cozy lounge with seating for breakfast or for relaxing game nights. Free for you in our garden: You’ll find a Kneipp pool and plunge pool, a barefoot path, and a clothed sauna for four people with an outdoor shower (sauna open year-round, outdoor shower only in summer). Free parking is available right next to the house. Bicycles can be parked behind the house. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

It’s about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. You’ll find restaurants and shops either in the Schönau center “Unterstein” or in the town of Berchtesgaden. The “Bodner” inn, serving traditional Bavarian home-style cuisine, is a 5-minute drive away.

The Haus BergGesundZeit, lovingly designed in an Alpine style, is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Oberschönau district. Its location at the foot of the Watzmann is perfect for your active vacation in our beautiful region. Start your hikes or mountain bike tours right nearby. In winter, when snow conditions permit, several cross-country ski trails run through the town of Schönau.

Here you’ll find sturdy, securely anchored bike racks for e-bikes, mountain bikes, and more. You can charge your e-bike’s battery right at the bike parking area; where six outlets are available for your use.

The bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. From the train station to Haus BergGesundZeit, it’s about 5 kilometers (just go straight and then 150 meters of relentless uphill). The nearest bakery is a 5-minute drive away (Oberschönauer Str. 14, Bäcker Brüder). You’ll find restaurants and shops either in the Schönau “Unterstein” center or in the town of Berchtesgaden.
