You will find plenty of space with 2 queen bedrooms, 1 king bedroom, 2 full beds in another room, and a rollaway bed, PERFECT for families or groups. The two bathrooms offer both a bathtub and shower. Stay comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Welcome to the FLX Victorian Retreat (@flxvictorian)! We are so looking forward to hosting you and your group! Originally built in 1873 as the preacher’s home for the nearby Lodi church, this gorgeous Victorian has been lovingly restored to combine modern conveniences with its original historical charm to now be YOUR dream Finger Lakes getaway.

This spacious and comfortable home is PERFECTLY located near the heart of the Finger Lakes. You will be staying right in between both Seneca and Cayuga Lakes and their famous Wine Trails, and minutes away from many award-winning local wineries and breweries! You will also be centrally located in between three major downtown areas: Watkins Glen and Geneva on Seneca Lake, as well as Ithaca on Cayuga Lake. Also close to many beautiful state parks for swimming, hiking, and boating! And after your full days exploring, you can come back to the quiet town of Lodi to relax.

Once you arrive to the FLX Victorian, you’ll have lots of space for your group to spread out. The front entrance opens to the large living room on the right, with plenty of seating for everyone to get together at the end of an awesome day in the Finger Lakes. There is as an adjacent old-school sitting area (where the men would retire to smoke cigars back in the day, but of course no more smoking there now!), and where you can now pour yourself a glass of wine or make a cocktail at the bar cart. We also have a washer/dryer there for your use if needed.

There are 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms in the house. (All photos in the app have captions, so you can see exactly which is which.) All bedrooms have large closets for storage, and all beds have comfy mattresses, of course. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo + conditioner + body wash + soap. Each bathroom also has a hair dryer so you will have more space available in your bag/suitcase!

The Burgundy Bedroom is located on the first floor, to the left after the front entrance, and has a queen bed.
The Rose Room is upstairs, with a king bed and a rollaway twin bed stored in the closet if you need.
The Emerald & Gold Room is upstairs and has a queen bed.
The Black & White Room is upstairs and has two full beds.
The first floor bathroom is a full bath with a walk-in shower.
The second floor bathroom is a full bath with a huge dual headed walk-in shower, a stunner of a bathtub, two vanities, and a private water closet for the toilet.

The large dining room is past the living room and will comfortably seat everyone. After the dining room, you’ll then walk into the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has all full-sized appliances (stovetop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer). Since coffee is essential, you will find a nice coffee set up with a drip coffee machine, a French Press, ground coffee, sugar, and creamer. We have tried to stock the kitchen with lots of things for cooking delicious vacation meals, should you choose to cook. You’ll have cooking oil, salt & pepper, a decent set of spices, microwave, a toaster, an air fryer, and usually a small assortment of basic condiments. Please feel free to message us with questions about specific items for your meal planning, and you can see our photos for some more detail.

You’ll have the use of the large yard, with outdoor dining and a grill for epic barbeque meals. There are some outdoor games like Cornhole and giant Connect 4 as well.

Throughout our historical old home, you will find some small and hopefully classy? notes on how to use and not use things. For example, some doors do not close perfectly in the door jams and so you will just use an installed latch to close the door. Some original doors are not in use anymore, so please do not try to force them open. All of the windows are historical and beautiful and old and please do not try to force them open. Lastly, the basement is not for guest use, and there is also an owner’s storage room on the second floor that is locked up. We promise that none of this hinders your stay at all, and just helps us maintain the property!
