Inside, an impressive transformation unfolds: where horse stalls and saddles once stood, there is now an open-concept kitchen and a cozy living area. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been integrated as modern cubes beneath the old barn roof, combining historic charm with contemporary comfort.<br>The large, restored barn door has been preserved and now serves as a distinctive design element offering a view of the garden.<br>Nature, Garden, and Relaxation<br>The approximately 1,000 m² garden, enclosed by a wooden picket fence, offers various retreats: a covered terrace, a lawn for sunbathing, a sheltered seating area behind a stone wall, a barrel sauna, and an outdoor shower. The Danish-designed garden furniture by Houe invites you to relax. A private path along the horse pastures leads you directly to the surrounding hiking trails.<br>A vacation right next door to animals<br>Through lovingly designed “peepholes,” you’ll get special glimpses into the neighboring animal barn. Perhaps the goat or horse you met the day before will greet you in the morning—or a curious goat will watch you as you relax.<br>“Guck in den Stall” is not a riding stable, and there is no riding instructor on site. By arrangement, the owner will gladly facilitate interaction with the animals.<br>Renovated with attention to detail<br>Over the course of two years, Silke and her family, together with local craftsmen, renovated the old barn with great attention to detail. Historic elements such as wood, brick, and old doors were preserved and combined with modern furnishings.<br>New! A Wallbox for Our Vacation Guests<br>A Wallbox is available for our vacation guests. It is located in the courtyard on the wall near the marked parking spaces for vacation guests. Charging is activated via an RFID card, and the exact electricity consumption is assigned to your stay. After your stay, you will receive a corresponding bill from the owner.<br>The RFID card is located in a separate key safe in the utility room.
