Ubicación aislada absoluta en el lago, vista fantástica, central. También objeto 2751103

Nuestra casa de vacaciones "Herrukot", que fue construida en 2015, se encuentra en una fantástica ubicación aislada justo en el lago. Desde el verano de 2018, dos casas de vacaciones más han estado disponibles para sus vacaciones en nuestro campo abierto, visite también "Casa de vacaciones en el río" Herrulæk ", número de propiedad 2751103.
En Herrukot hay dos habitaciones separadas, cada una con dos camas muy cómodas de 90 × 200 cm, baño con ducha a ras de suelo, calefacción por suelo radiante en toda la casa, salón comedor con sofá cama doble y cocina totalmente equipada, incl. Lavavajillas, vitrocerámica (4 placas) y horno proporcionan la base para unas vacaciones relajantes en 66 m2. Se ofrece conexión WiFi gratuita, ropa de cama, toallas y paños de cocina. La guinda del pastel es la terraza de madera de 60 m2 con su propia estufa y fantásticas vistas del lago, las montañas y el volcán Hekla.

La casa está muy bien aislada y debido a la ubicación ideal en el sur de Islandia, una estancia en invierno también es muy apropiada, las luces del norte son una experiencia muy especial debido a la ubicación apartada sin luces de otras casas en el área.

Está a solo unos 400 cientos de metros de nuestra casa de campo, le invitamos a montar en nuestra granja. ¡Lo ayudamos con todas las preguntas sobre sus vacaciones y con consejos para la planificación de sus vacaciones!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely incredible — it was everything we wanted and more! From the moment we arrived, it felt cozy, peaceful, and perfectly secluded. The cabin was spotless and extremely well cared for, which made it even more comfortable.We stayed during a winter storm, and the temperature inside remained warm and cozy the entire time — it was the perfect retreat from the cold. The owners’ farm is only about 400 meters away, so help was nearby if needed, but the cabin still felt wonderfully private.Their communication was top-notch — always friendly, responsive, and helpful. One of our favorite features was the hot tub, fed and heated by natural water. It felt absolutely amazing, especially in the winter weather!And we can’t forget the horses — they were beautiful and so friendly. It was such a special touch being able to see and pet them during our stay.If we could give unlimited stars, we would! Highly, highly recommended. The house was exactly as advertised! So cozy with amazing views. Perfectly located for everything we wanted to do and a great, quiet place to come back to after exciting days of sightseeing! Unser Aufenthalt am See war ein Traum. Das Haus ist komfortabel und bestens ausgestattet. Gerade im Winter ist die Fußbodenheizung herrlich. Der Ausblick, die absolute Ruhe und der Hot Pot auf der Terrasse sind natürlich die Highlights. Renate kümmert sich hervorragend um ihre Gäste. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Zum Abschluss gab es sogar noch Nordlichter!

Alles genau wie beschrieben! Ein herrlicher ruhiger Ort, um nach langen Wanderungen zu entspannen. Terrasse direkt am See und wir haben von dort sogar Nordlichter sehen können :-) Super fanden wir außerdem, dass Kleinigkeiten wie Spülmittel, Seife, Backpapier und Gewürze vor Ort waren. Viele Grüße nach Island!

We had a wonderful stay at the lakehouse. It is pretty isolated, but the farm is close enough if you need anything. We loved being able to relax and the peace and calm of the location. The hot tub was wonderful and clean; we used it every morning and every night. The beds were also very comfortable. My husband fell in love with the heated floors, pretty sure he wanted to sleep on them instead of the bed. You will need to rent a car to stay here, but it's in a great location to take day trips to waterfalls, volcanoes, and Reykjavík.

This house was perfect for our needs during our stay. The house was clean and well cared for. Even though it was October, we loved the deck to be able to view the Northern Lights or sit in the hot tub. The collection of windows in the living room area offers a great view of lake and lots of natural light. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was easy to use in the house and the directions left by the host helped with any technical things. The host was also kind to let us see some of their horses before we left. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely lakeside cottage

The setting of the cottage is private and beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the geothermal hot tub in the evenings. Renata has horses and we did a one hour ride on the property which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would stay there again despite the 4/5 star rating. The cottage is well stocked with dishes, spices and oil, but it was not very conducive to cooking due to the limited scratched up Tephlon pans. There are also no screens on the windows (which I think may be the norm in Iceland) so we had quite a few fly visitors join us inside after having the windows open. Despite these minor issues, we loved the setting and waking up to the beautiful views of the lake and glacier. Truly stunning. Very easy to access all of the south Iceland and golden circle highlights.

Fantastische locatie!

We hebben een heerlijke en actieve week gehad. Na een drukke dag vol activiteiten en wandelingen, was het heel fijn 'thuiskomen'. Wat een mooi verblijf in een prachtige en rustige omgeving. Het uitzicht en het terras met hottub was elke dag weer een cadeautje.Het huis is mooi, eenvoudig ingericht en zeer aangenaam van temperatuur. Het drooghok erbij is erg handig om na de hottub of een regenachtige dag de kleren te drogen. Voor 5 volwassenen zou een aparte toilet wel praktisch zijn.Het huis is perfekt voor 4 personen. De locatie ligt ook mooi centraal om naar verschillende kanten IJsland te ontdekken.We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Zuid-IJsland!! Fam. van DintherNederland

Skøn beliggenhed

Sødt mindre hus - gode senge. Skøn og meget varm jacuzzi og fantastisk udsigt. Eneste minus er nok at huset kan bruges af seks personer, men der er kun have stole til fire :-). Der kunne godt bruges en lille fryser, da der er lidt langt til indkøb. Vi vil absolut anbefale huset og værten!!

Absolutely Fantastic !!!

We just stayed at Renate's cottage March 2025. This is a phenomenal cottage: Modern yet cozy, very clean, with large deck with hot tub overlooking the lake. Its private/quiet yet only about 20 mln out of nearest towns (supermarket, bakery, fuel, restaurants, liquor store) Great location if you have a car, within an 1 1/2 hours you can visit spots along Golden Circle, Pingtheviller National Park, Laugarvatn or Hvammik Spa. Hella Caves is 20 min away. Host was very friendly, responsive and helpful. Great stay ! Looking forward to returning !

We had a great stay here! The owner made everything super easy and self-explanatory. We found it to be exactly what we were hoping it would be - easy, comfortable, and perfect for day trips. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and seeing the horses as we drove by each day.

Perfect family getaway.

Quiet, centrally located cabin. Perfect for day trips to south Iceland, including Golden Circle. Cabin was very neat, ckean, tidy. Hostess (plus dogs & horses) is very friendlyand would stay again in a heartbeat! Takk fyrir.

Wunderschöne Lage auf einer Halbinsel und große Fensterfront ermöglichen super Blick auf die Nordlichter. Bei Kälte einfach in den erdbeheizten Hottub legen - herrlich!!!

Absolut wintertauglich!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt total genossen. Lage des Hauses ist wunderschön. Einsam und gleichsam sehr gut erreichbar. Im Winter sind dazu Reifen mit Spikes zu empfehlen. Der Wohn/Ess/Küchenbereich ist für 4 Personen großzügig für isländische Verhältnisse. Zimmer sind Der Hot Pot auf der Terrasse ist das Highlight.

Best stay we’ve have in Iceland

This was our third time visiting the island and we could not have had a better stay. The house was exactly what we were looking for, and the hosts were fantastic. The communication was excellent and they were kind enough to message us on an amazing display of the northern lights to make sure we didn’t miss it. I cannot wait to make sure my friends book this location on their trips and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing home with beautiful views!

From booking, Renate was very responsive and helpful even flexible with our check-in/out times. The house was a perfect getaway and a great location between Reykjavik and Vik. Remote Stay Outside of Selfoss

Lovely remote location on the side of a lake on an Icelandic horse farm. Property was immaculate and allowed for a very cozy stay during a snowstorm/road closure. Cabin was amazingly sturdy during 60mph winds. Hot tub was great despite the brutal wind and snow. Trees provided a great wind break. Thankfully bought groceries at Knonan in Selfoss before we arrived (and some wine/beer at the duty free on our arrival at KEF). Although remote, we had great connectivity to deal with a crisis at home. Host communicated with us on Christmas morning to warn us about the road conditions. We also saw the host on Boxing Day, and she was very welcoming. Cabin is about 20 minutes from Selfoss "city center" and a 30-minute trip to Midgard Adventure (further east on the Ring Road) in Hvolsvöllur, where we took an amazing all-day tour after we checked out of this property. Overall, a great stay for our family of 5. No Northern Lights this time, but if back in Iceland, we would stay here again.

Beautiful cabin on the lake

Location - we loved being so close to the horse farm. Renate was very kind and welcoming and gave us a tour of the farm. We will be sure to return in the summer to go for a ride as well. The location was also great for the golden circle and the secret lagoon.Cabin - it was very well insulated and cozy, even in December. Everything was very well constructed (doors, windows, latches) and we had everything that we needed for delicious dinners in (we bought groceries from Bonus and Kronan). The beds were comfortable too. Hot pot - this was amazing! It was hot and very cozy. We enjoyed ending our days in the hot pot every night of our stay. Most nights were cloudy but one night, it was clear and we had a great view of the big dipper :)Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Our German/Icelandic family has lived on the Herridarholi farm, some 400 m from the holiday home by the lake. We run a guesthouse there during the summer, and offer riding tours. Our agricultural operation runs year-round, with sheep, horses, and dairy cows.

Since Iceland is worth a visit even outside of the summer, we decided to offer vacations year-round as well. That's why we built a holiday home on the prettiest part of our 400-hectare farm, and so our Herrukot holiday home was born.

The isolated lakeside location allows for a relaxing vacation, especially when combined with the central location and the good access road. The house is so spacious and comfortable that even spending a day indoors when the weather isn't good is a fine holiday experience. The hot tub during a snowstorm or under the northern lights is an unforgettable experience!
