Outside, softly illuminated pathways wind among seven mature mango trees, towering palms and a old live oak. As evening settles in, gather around the fire, pour something you love and let Sarasota slow down around you.

The fully fenced property offers both a private automatic gated entrance and a welcoming front-door arrival with keyless access. EV guests can recharge with the Tesla Universal Level 2 charger.

Once settled in, simply use whichever entrance is most convenient.

Electric-vehicle guests can recharge right at home with a Tesla Universal Level 2 Wall Connector, compatible with Tesla and many other EVs.

People have lived along the shores of Sarasota Bay for thousands of years. Indigenous cultures flourished along Florida's Gulf Coast long before modern Sarasota emerged, leaving behind shell middens and other archaeological evidence that still connects this landscape to its earliest inhabitants.

The Calusa became one of Southwest Florida's most influential Indigenous societies, while the Seminole would later become an enduring part of Florida's history.

Indian Beach and the surrounding neighborhoods tell more recent chapters as well. Historic homes sit beneath majestic oaks and mature tropical gardens, while Sarasota's remarkable circus and arts heritage can still be felt throughout the area.

A NOTE ABOUT OUR HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOOD

Indian Beach Hammock sits in an established Sarasota neighborhood where nearly century-old homes, beautifully restored residences and reminders of the city's early architecture still share the same streets.

Behind the property stands an unrestored 1924 home—a glimpse of old Sarasota still waiting for its next chapter. We like to imagine what it might become if someday restored to its original beauty.

Along our north side is historic Bay Haven School, originally built as Northside Elementary in 1926 and today a well-regarded neighborhood elementary school. The school's receiving area faces this side of our grounds, so guests may occasionally notice normal school-day activity or deliveries.

The neighboring school also contributes to the active, established character of the neighborhood. Privacy fencing, mature palms and tropical landscaping provide separation from the school grounds.

It's all part of the wonderfully eclectic fabric of this historic corner of Sarasota.
