Enjoy the best time of the year at “Haus Dörloop” on Borkum. Our comfortable “Vacation Apartment 9” is ideal for a vacation with up to four people. The lovingly furnished interior—partly new (2025)—creates a cozy atmosphere and gives you that authentic North Sea vibe during your seaside vacation. Just a 2-minute bike ride and you’re at the magnificent South Beach!

You can truly unwind on the 9-meter-long balcony—breathing in the refreshing North Sea air and taking in the beautiful view of the countryside. Letting your mind wander while relaxing in the comfortable balcony furniture is a wonderful vacation experience!

The cozy living room—with its pretty lamps and curtains—also invites you to relax to your heart’s content. A seating area with a couch, rocking chair, TV, and modern DAB+ radio offers the perfect spot to watch TV, listen to music, or read. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing the web on your smartphone.

For a day at the beach or a bike ride across the island, you can easily prepare snacks in the separate kitchen, which features a 4-burner stove and new small appliances such as a kettle, toaster, and coffee maker, as well as a new matching set of dishes. While you pack your backpack, the dishwasher takes care of the dishes for you.

When the sun sets on Borkum, you can retreat to the cozy, separately furnished bedroom, which is equipped with a double bed (200 x 200 cm) and a closet. A modern and low-maintenance vinyl floor adds to the cozy atmosphere. Two additional guests can enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep on the sleeper sofa (160 x 200 cm) in the living room.

General Information: A washing machine for your use is available, as well as a new ironing board and iron. There is a parking space for bicycles. Please note that the vacation rental is only suitable for children ages 6 and up; we appreciate your understanding. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the vacation rental.

Welcome to our vacation rental at “Haus Dörloop”! Here you can enjoy a relaxing vacation with a view of the countryside.

"Haus Dörloop" is located on the western side of the island of Borkum, right on the Greune Stee—a beautiful nature reserve that’s perfect for walks through the woods and heathland. The lovely South Beach, with its wide sunbathing areas, beach chairs, and milk stands, is very close to your accommodations (a 2-minute bike ride). Borkum’s main beach (Nordbad) and the town center are 2 km away (about a 10-minute bike ride).
From the “Jakob-van-Dyken-Weg” stop on the island train, it’s about a 5-minute walk to the apartment.

Sports enthusiasts will discover a wide range of activities on Borkum: beach volleyball, cycling, beach sailing, horseback riding, and tennis are just a few of the sports you can enjoy on the island.
