Second time here and our family loved it. Lots of room to roam, beach camp Fire, watching herons, seals…. Took trips to the Discovery center, Marina, Dungeness Spit, dairy farm and lavender fields. So much to discover. We will return to this lovely home again.

Perfect "Girls Getaway" property!! Gorgeous view, windows on both sides so lots of light. 2 Bedrms & bath on one end, plus 2 Bedrms and 1/4 bath shower on the other end. Lots of seating around tables. Easy to use kitchen. And so private, we had nine deer in the yard!!

So much to do

This house is situated overlooking the water. Mature, literally, passes by the walls of windows.. blue herons, deer, seals, king fishers and more. Enjoyed Dungeness Discovery Center, strawberry picking, visiting a dairy, hiking, walking the tide pools and nightly bonfires on the beach. This was a very relaxing peaceful vacay. The house was pristine and well equipped. The biggest plus is the walls overlooking the ocean are all glass. Bring your binoculars to view the cruise ships and night lights from Victoria. We will return again!

A Favorite Getaway Location

My friends and I have stayed here a couple of times now and it is a favorite. The sunset views are amazing. The only thing I could wish for is more comfortable seating for watching the sunset.

This house is lovely and is in a beautiful area! My only complaint is - it would be nice to have a larger couch- more seating overall in the living room - there is plenty of space! Would definitely stay there again!

Quiet seaside getaway

Loved the chance to stay at this amazingly beautiful natural place within short driving distance to activities when we wanted them. But we didn’t feel like we had to leave. Everything we needed was at the house, and we had walks on the beach, clamming, and amazing sunsets.

My husband and I stayed here in 2022 and 2024, and would definitely stay here again (and again)! Great view of the Dungeness Bay and Spit. House is clean and well stocked for cooking, board games and comfort. Enjoyed it very much!

Golf with the girls

We had a three day golf tournament at cedars at Dungeness. It was wonderful and relaxing coming back to the house. Watching the deer, birds and boats from the comfort of the living room was awesome. Would stay here again

Great view! You can hear the waves crashing and we saw seals in the Spit! It was fun to watch the ships go by. It was nice to have two showers and 2 toilets. We weren’t expecting that. We also loved that we could use the washer and dryer. Very comfortable for the 7 of us!

Awesome stay

Wow..overlooking the ocean. Very scenic. Lots of room for us to sprawl and some great nights for making a beach bonfire. Bring your binoculars…. Lots to see. The deer love to look in the window. No dishwasher so bring paper plates for an easy stay. Area has lots of attractions and areas for hiking. Will come and stay again.

A week at the Windrift house

Everything was great. The house and kitchen are totally stocked with all needs. A dishwasher and an updated stove would make it even better but not a problem.

Wow… magnificent view

5 adults and 1 toddler and we had lots of room to either be together or retreat for some alone time. We had bonfires at the beach and enjoyed all the deer that past the property. Kitchen and laundry room well stocked. No dishwasher so bring paper plates for an easy stay. Beautiful property and Sequim has lots to do. Will be back here again.

A space heater for the twin bed bedroom might be nice. The master bedroom is very warm but the other bedroom in the main part of the house with the two twin beds gets very cold with the door closed.

Absolutely Amazing

We just left this property and it was such a great stay. The views were so beautiful and they had the most amazing flowers all around the property. You can walk right down to the water with a small path. The beds were very comfortable. Having a full kitchen and laundry were a huge help for us. We saw bald eagles, humming birds, deer, and huge slugs all around the property. I told my husband I could just live there. They provided everything you might need. It was a great place. Also, my kids loved the huge, comfy couch and I loved the 1950’s style of the house.

Had a few issues. Shower wouldn't drain, microwave didn't work at all, checkout instructions on fridge were different in a few ways than our email and the guest book. But ... beautiful setting and a nice house.

Beautiful Spot with one warning

The house and view are gorgeous. Our only warning is that we were often without cell service (which is not the property owners fault) and had to turn off international roaming to avoid extra charges! Our phones kept picking up the Canadian phone signal. But the wi-fi worked great do all was well.

6 Hiking Friends

Great view over the Dungeness Spit across the water all along 1 side of the 1 story house. Constantly changing views with sunsets, clouds, ships, birds, deer, fawns..Well stocked kitchen plus view for our delicious nightly meals, large dining table for games, puzzles... 1st day hiked all the way to the Lighthouse on Dungeness Spit, 2nd day hiked beyond Lake Angeles, 3rd day hiked Hurricane Ridge, 4th day hiked Gray Wolf Trail to Gray Wolf River. Walked through the neighborhood to Wild Is Her Favorite Color flower stand to get the most vibrant glorious bouquet for the dining table. Clean, Cozy, Retro, the peaceful private location and view is totally worth quirky bathrooms. Simone was a hospitable and responsive host. We loved our stay.
