About the Accommodation

The charming 3-room apartment, which has a living space of 55 square metres and two bedrooms, is tastefully furnished. The inviting living room has a crockery cupboard, a dining table, a cozy sofa and a TV with Internet TV, making it a pleasant place to spend time together. The master bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, a comfortable king-size bed (160x200cm) for two people, a seating area and a chest of drawers with some books, creating a personal retreat. The second bedroom with a bunk bed (90x200cm) offers space for a further two people and includes a practical clothes rack. The bathroom, equipped with WC, shower and bathroom sink, completes the apartment. The open-plan kitchen leaves nothing to be desired with a ceramic hob, a fridge with freezer compartment, a Nespresso coffee machine, a coffee maker, a kettle, a microwave and a raclette oven and invites you to cook and enjoy together. Residents also have access to a garden for communal use, which makes spending time outdoors even more enjoyable. A high chair for children can be provided on request, making the flat attractive for families too. Pets are allowed in this non-smoking apartment, but smoking is permitted outside. For modern convenience, Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the accommodation. There is an open car park in front of the house.

From the apartment and the shared garden you can enjoy a marvelous view of the mountains, Lake Walensee and the Linth plain. The nearest bus stop "Amden, Mennweg" is 90 metres from the house. The village centre of Amden, with its shops, restaurants, indoor swimming pool and the Mattstock chairlift, as well as the centre of Arvenbüel (skiing and hiking area), can be reached by car or bus in 5-10 minutes.

Amden lies on a sunny plateau above the emerald-blue waters of Lake Walensee. There are plenty of leisure activities to enjoy in both summer and winter. In winter, the family-friendly ski area offers ski pistes, winter hiking and snowshoe trails and a toboggan run. In summer and autumn, you can go on wonderful hiking tours in the mountains around Amden. Lake Walensee also offers many bathing opportunities in summer. Our tip: A hike from Amden down to Betlis. A bathing beach and cozy barbecue spots await you on the lakeshore. From there, you can also embark on a fantastic boat trip on Lake Walensee. Amden is very centrally located. The rose town of Rapperswil, Zurich, Chur or Glarus are less than an hour's drive away.
