Our hope is that our house will bring you the same relaxation and serenity that it does for us. Marshallville is like stepping back in time. A time of a simpler peaceful life where families take walks together, kids riding bikes, children's laughter and shenanigans can be heard, neighbor's chit chat with each other and people just stop by to visit. Sometime before 1850, someone in Ohio picked up an axe and started hand hewing logs for their family home. What they built is still standing for nearly 200 years— and now you can enjoy it. The hand‑cut tool marks are still etched into the beams. Not as décor—just history that never left. Nestled in Marshallville, Ohio — a genuinely calm little town in Wayne County where the peacefulness hits you the moment you step out the door. This pre-1850 hand-hewn log cabin is the kind of place that makes your regular life feel very loud by comparison. Walk in and the walnut hardwood floors tell you something is different here.
