What a view

Very comfortable living amenities, spacious area for two. We also hosted a small dinner party with family, about 9 of us. Excellent location for the beach or a walk through Waikiki. But, the view through the open wall is what I miss.

Grand view of ocean, easy beach access, very clean

Updated unit, very clean, exceptional view from room can open sliders all the way for fresh air. All amenities available including beach chairs, umbrella, and towels. This unit was amazing, didn’t have to worry about buying anything for cooking meals. Parking was easy with a designated spot. View of fireworks was really pretty from the unit was an unexpected delightful experience. Communication with the management through Captain Cook Resorts was great.

We were very disappointed in the one working elevator. We were not notified of this and it was an inconvenience. The overall stay was amazing. The views in the room were outstanding. The location was awesome. Having our own parking spot in the garage was great. We would definitely stay there again.

And with the park being next to the building, we had unobstructed views. We enjoyed having the slider doors open and having the ocean breezes cool the room and having the amazing views. The condo had everything we needed. it was great having a washer and dryer. The kitchen was very modern. We had had front row seats to the beautiful sunsets and the fireworks on our last day. Even with just one elevator operating at the time due to maintenance, we never had an issue. Having the free parking was a plus as well. We would definitely stay here again. We felt at home here. Thank you so much.

Amazing views and location on Waikiki Beach

Captain Cook Resorts Waikiki Shores was by far the BEST place we have stayed while visiting in Honolulu. This was our 4th vacay and we have stayed in various places but this year we decided to stay at Waikiki Shores for 6days/nights, and it was the best decision we ever made, and will be sure to book our future stays here at Captain Cook Resorts on Waikiki. The property manager was so attentive upon our arrival to Honolulu as he greeted us at the condo with a huge welcome and our keys, explaining how everything worked and helped us into our room. The condo, the amenities, the immediate access to the beach and the hospitality of our property manager, and Captain Cook Resorts, BEATS any resort on the island hands down! The location of this condo is so ideal because it is in walking distance to many fine eateries and shopping and with the amazing views from the balcony of Waikiki beach and from the kitchen window you can see Diamond Head and more of Waikiki beach. The room and living area is so spacious and so comfortable and has everything you need washer/dryer, full kitchen if you just wanted to stay in and relax and enjoy the amazing fireworks display on Friday nights from the comfort of the dinning room area. Thanks so much Captain Cook Resorts and again to the property manager for an amazing stay and we are already planning our future vacay and stay. Mahalo and Aloha

Beautiful place to stay

There is no balcony per se, the apartment was remodeled to include the room onto the balcony. The sliders open wide and the whole place is the balcony. The view is spectacular and at night the view is the city lights. Supplied are beach chairs and toys. The beach and swimming in front and to the north of the building is wonderful. We rented a car and then rented this condo because parking was included. It is a very walkable area and a car is not needed unless that is your choice. We probably paid more to bet the included parking than some of the other rentals in this building. We definitely would rent again.

An Excellent Choice

Reviewer Comments: I picked Waikiki Shore #1208 as it had an assigned secure parking space and, being very familiar with the area, I knew it would have a great view. Unit 1208 is quite large and has everything you could possibly want to include a full size washer and dryer. The kitchen is large, has everything (gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge, etc.) and is very modern. The bathroom also appears to have been recently remodeled. A person could live in this unit long-term. The view is great due to all the open space next door thanks to Fort Derussy; you can see the beach and ocean directly below and also see all the way to the west (Eva) end of Oahu over the water (also a smaller abbreviated view of Diamond Head outside the kitchen windows). The main view-side is all glass with overlapping doors that slide back to open the unit up almost completely to the outside giving one the sense of being outside when sitting at the dining table. The beach is also "right outside the door". No sense of being in a "concrete jungle" like many Waikiki hotels. I highly recommend this unit.

Perfect place

My husband, adult daughter and I had the best time at this condo. It was spotlessly clean, well appointed with kitchen items, beach items, a fold out couch, washer and dryer and more. The entire side wall of the condo were glass doors that opened onto a fabulous view of Waikiki beach. The location was excellent, being right on the beach, yet very close to all the shops, restaurants and other hotels. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Thank you!
