The FRIEDRICHSMOOR HUNTING LODGE is a beautiful oasis nestled in the heart of the enchanting and picturesque Lewitz region —just about 20 minutes from the charming city of Schwerin, perfectly situated between the major cities of Hamburg and Berlin.

For over 300 years, the hunting lodge in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has been a romantic retreat for its guests, offering a place to enjoy relaxing days with friends and family.

The hunting lodge was once a magnificent hunting retreat for the Dukes of Mecklenburg, and distinguished visitors such as Emperor Wilhelm I, Wilhelm II, and Otto von Bismarck spent relaxing hours in front of the large, inviting open fireplace. Today, the “Pearl of the Lewitz” is a romantic setting surrounded by ancient oak trees, long tree-lined avenues, and lush, blooming meadows. Beautiful forest trails through the Lewitz Bird Sanctuary invite you to take wonderful, relaxing walks in the fresh air.

You’ll stay in the main building of the beautiful and historically significanthunting lodge and enjoy very special amenities in the heart of the house.

The first floor features a total of 6 spacious living areas, connected by stylish antique double doors. In the center of the house, the large open fireplace radiates a cozy atmosphere and invites you to spend wonderful moments together with your loved ones. Spend wonderful hours in our dreamy vacation home surrounded by nature, whether with your family or friends.

You can make your culinary dreams come true in our fully equipped professional kitchen. Here, cooking becomes a true pleasure and a culinary experience for all guests. Chill, cook, bake, and wash up—just like the pros! All the necessary appliances are, of course, provided to ensure you have an unforgettable stay.
