Enorme 6 habitaciones con todas las comodidades que necesita para unas vacaciones relajantes con familiares y amigos. Ahora reservando 2019 y 2020.
En busca de las semanas de verano, todavía hay algunas disponibles. Investigue ahora, no se aleje de la playa en una casa pequeña. La comunidad de callejón sin salida frente al golfo de Sunrise Beach es donde encontrarás 'Blue Whale', la mejor casa de playa para una gran reunión familiar. Escuche el golfo, vea el golfo y la playa y disfrute del golfo ... solo a unos pasos de la playa.

Tenemos la piscina más grande en la playa Sunrise, que mide 24 'x 12'. Muy privado y no directamente al sol para que los niños puedan nadar después de un largo día en la playa soleada.

El segundo piso consta de una gran sala grande con comedor y cocina contiguos. Tres dormitorios y dos baños se encuentran en el primer y tercer piso, lo que brinda privacidad al compartir esta casa de playa con otra familia. Los 2 maestros, uno en el primer y tercer piso, tienen una cama king con una cama doble en el dormitorio también. (También hay espacio para la cuna o pack-n-play en ambos maestros, no proporcionado por el propietario). Hay 2 dormitorios con camas queen, uno en el primer y tercer piso. Un dormitorio en el tercero tiene una cama de tamaño completo con un conjunto de literas. Y el último dormitorio está en el primer piso, tiene 2 camas de tamaño completo. Las mini cocinas en el primer y tercer piso son convenientes para desayunos privados o refrigerios nocturnos. Enorme parrilla de carbón y una parrilla Weber más pequeña también.

Grandes porches en los tres niveles proporcionan los lugares perfectos para relajarse en la fragante brisa del golfo mientras disfruta de las increíbles vistas del golfo. Relájese junto a su gran piscina privada (de 12 pies por 24 pies), cercada para su privacidad y seguridad, cuando no esté en la playa a solo 25 yardas de distancia. Perfect location. Great private beach. Ignore all of the reviews about cleanliness. While some of the furnishings are dated, the house was very clean. Able to walk to restaurants and shops.

Great Beach House! Great location!

You can’t beat this house if you are planning a family vacation. Comfortably slept 15 people. The kids loved the pool and having the beach just a few steps away. The location is just perfect. Everyone had a fantastic time! Thanks John!

Amazing

We love the Blue Whale! Only steps away from the private beach access and awesome views from the decks. This house is well laid out to give space when needed and a large kitchen, dinning, living area to hang out when you want. The pool is sunny, warm and a great option for when you have enough of the sand. We can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful!

The Blue Whale was perfect! Great location! The house was large enough to accommodate four families (and more)! Open floor plans, clean, and nicely decorated. You can see the ocean from the large decks. The pool was great. Just a short walk to the beach. The owner was great to work with. Highly recommend this property!

Great house and location

The house is wonderful, perfect for large groups. We stayed in March and the heated pool was fantastic for the chilly days and nights. The beach is across the street and easy to get to. The 2nd floor features an open floor plan with enough room for everyone without being crowded, an ideal space for family game night. The owner of the home, was very responsive during the booking process and our stay!! The house is in a great location, within walking distance to Gulf Place, which featured an incredible restaurant, Shunk Gulley, and the kids favorite, Pecan Jacks Ice Cream & Candy!

Blue Whale family vacation 2023

Nice location, just down the road a little from restaurant’s and shops. In a gated community, so very little traffic made it nice for when we took our small grandchildren to the beach. It was a private beach and the owner had prepaid for two beach chairs and an umbrella. Some of the door lock’s (salt water plays havoc on metal) didn’t work very well in the house, but they all opened.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful beach home and the property description is very accurate. The property owner is easy to communicate with. We had plenty of linens and bedding was nice, clean, and crisp. Pool was perfect and access to beach fantastic. The bikes were a pleasant surprise. The children are just learning to ride and the gated community was perfect for them to ride. The home is spacious and open. We had a very nice time and would recommend your home for future vacations.🙂

Family Vacation

The location to the beach was amazing. Easy walk across the street to the beach access and you're there. Pool was also nice. Everything else was not as great. The house definitely needs a thorough cleaning and picking up. We understand it is a rental that sees lots of people and not much time for cleaning in between. However, our sheets had stains, on the sheet and fitted sheet. Some of the towels were stained, which both are big things to me. I can understand floors not being super clean but I want to sleep in a clean bed and have clean towels to shower with. The shower liner was disgusting, and for $10 to replace would make a big difference for little cost. The doors must let water in because around the bedroom door was mold in the carpet. The living room furniture could also use updating. The couch has a big red stain on it. Hate to complain so much but for what we paid, I was hoping it would be cleaner. The location and layout of the house are great, but it needs a thorough cleaning.

Oct-21 Stay at the Blue Whale

Pro's: - Excellent location; close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping; neighborhood is quiet and peaceful - Second floor is completely open which is great for entertaining/spending time with family and friends - Bedrooms are large; all bedrooms have their own TV - Property manager is very responsive to issues (several towels & sheets on beds were dirty and blender was broken upon arrival - property manager remediated quickly) Opportunities for improvement: - The owner is pushing the bounds on property maintenance; the outside is badly in need of a fresh coat of paint and porch furniture on the second and third floor balconies need to be power washed/replaced - Several windows and doors to the outside are in need of replacement - Doors to the third floor balcony in the two front bedrooms have signs of water damage/mold at the base - Hardwood floors need to be redone and a fresh coat of paint done throughout the inside of the home - All bedding needs to be updated/refreshed - it is very worn/outdated - Carpet in upstairs bedrooms needs to be replaced - All most appliances were very dirty (double oven needs to be cleaned, refrigerator has stains throughout and needs a deep clean; toaster works but looks awful) - Pool deck needs to be power washed and fencing repainted - Toilet seat in the jack and jill bathroom on the third floor moves all around and needs to be fixed

Issues, issues, issues

There were issues from the start with the smell of the home. The cleaning was not properly. The dishwasher hadn't been ran and the odor was coming from it. Stained furniture with fresh stains that hadn't been attempted to be removed. Then we had the door not locking, We had to wait for 2 days for this to be fixed. We also didn't have any cell service at the home so couldn't contact owner until we went to town. We had water leaks/AC issues we believe, twice that we had to contend with also (soaked couch cushions that we put outside to dry). We were told the pool would be cleaned twice a week. It was not. It was cleaned the evening before we left. We contacted the owner as things happened. Except for the door lock being replaced, nothing was done. No partial refund offered. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great Location!

We had a great time at the Blue Whale. We loved the location and the house was wonderful. Our group of 13 had room to spare! We also loved the big kitchen and living area! The owner was easy to communicate with. The entire groups said they would love to stay again sometime!

Beautiful home in gated community

We loved the Blue Whale. Literally steps from the beach and walking distance to fine dining and shopping. The house was clean with all the amenities you need. The pool was perfect for our two younger children. Would definitely recommend!!

Good size house

Overall the house was nice. The area was excellent. We loved the pool, but the light in the pool didn’t work. 14 people in the house and didn’t feel crowded. Lots of room in the living area and bed rooms. The cleaning service did a terrible job. There was hair in the shower drains, popcorn kernels in one bed and refrigerator was discussing. We had to buy cleaning supplies so we could clean the house and wash all the bedding before we felt comfortable staying in the house.

Fantastic family memories made at THE BLUE WHALE

The location was perfect for my whole family to enjoy, close walk to a beautiful private beach, we taught my 3 yr old Granddaughter how to swim in pool, HUGE 2nd floor with walk out balcony was where we played all week both adults and kids had a great time together it was so big. Slept well, made dinner in spacious kitchen and ate/ laughed as a family around a 10 person plus table. Town was nice with stuff close good restaurants, ice cream, shops. John (owner) was on it with everything we needed. Great person to rent from. This was the best vacation we have had as a family and we will be back!!

Location is perfect! Steps from the beach access in a quiet, protected neighborhood. Shops and restaurants were within a 5 -10 minute walk. The house plan is ideal for 2 families vacationing together.

Perfect house, perfect location

We arrived just as Ida was making landfall in Louisiana, but there was absolutely no flooding, even though the house is only 30 steps from the beach. This house is spacious and well equipped - we were not wanting for anything while the ten of us stayed indoors when Ida rained down in the area, even making it out into the pool during breaks in the rain. When the sun did come out, we were just across the street from the beach, so we took full advantage of that! We hope to come back another time in the future.

Really great house!

The house was very solid, roomy, and pretty quiet in each bedroom. The views of the ocean were great, and the walk to the beach was perfect: 40 steps to the wooden walkway, and 66 down to the sand of the beach! You could hear the waves from the front porch which was very nice. Possibly could have used some softer porch furniture as it was all wood; but it was nice and sturdy and fairly comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and clean and very accessible to all of Destin and the 30-A community. I would definitely rent here again for a family reunion.

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed out stay. This is a great house and especially for a large group. Easy access and just a few steps to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Loved this place

We had a large group of 16 people, 8 kids and 8 adults, and the house never felt cramped. The kitchen and living room area was very spacious and for us all very comfortably. The location of the beach access was so close it made it very easy to load up and walk back and forth without a struggle. And the gated community made me feel much better when the kids wanted to ride their bikes and scooters. The only things I'd change about the house would be more chairs at the pool and more towels and wash clothes in the bathrooms. But overall our stay was great. I'd love to stay there again.

The Blue Whale sleeps 18 which seems like a lot of people to accomodate and be comfortable at the same time. But what makes the house unique is that there is so much room to spread out. All the bedrooms have plenty of space, the great room covers the whole second floor along with the kitchen. Room for everyone. And the best is the front covered porch right off the great room. It can be a private oasis or a place to gather.
