El apartamento, renovado con buen gusto en diciembre de 2013, está ubicado en la planta baja de un edificio de 1300 y se encuentra a pocos pasos del teatro "La Pergola", cerca del hospital de Santa Maria Nuova y luego a la Piazza del Duomo en Florencia. La ubicación es ideal para visitar la bella ciudad de Florencia, ya cerca de dos de las mejores zonas de Florencia, Santa Croce y el Duomo. Estas áreas llenas de bares, restaurantes, pero sobre todo lleno de iglesias y museos. El apartamento tiene 2 dormitorios dobles, uno con baño en suite, sala de estar, comedor pequeña cocina totalmente equipada y un pequeño patio. El apartamento tiene todas las comodidades para garantizar que gasta una gran vacaciones inmerso en uno de los más estratégicos de Florencia.

Proporcionamos una sola clave para ahorrar energía y contaminar lo menos posible. Somos muy sensibles a este problema y esperamos que lo entiendan.

Great host, great place for its age, and great location.

our stay was wonderful. the location was close to everything we wanted so that we could walk the entire time. Our Host was great, and we enjoyed the place. The temporary water pump was a bit noisy from time to time but my understanding was that it would be replaced in the coming months. My family loved Florence and cannot wait to return! Grazie!

Two weeks stay in Florence

The Vrbo unit was in excellent condition and met our needs. my college buddy and myself always wanted to travel to Florence for its culture and art. The location was Central to the center of town and most everything was in walking distance. The bathrooms are large and clean. Given that we were there for two weeks stay it would’ve been nice to have a little bit more paper products for an extended stay, this is not a negative against the owner… The only concern we had was that we were not aware of of the nightly city taxes on each person in the unit until the day before we got there. I wish was that VR would make this more explicit in the listing. The house was excellent and we would definitely stay there again if we had the opportunity.

Great location!

This apartment is very central to everything in Florence and we were easily able to walk to all the major attractions. We were three couples that stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment is very well equipped but the only thing that was bothersome was the fact that, because of regulations, the air conditioning shut off at 11 pm every night and didn't come back on until 9 am. It was very hot when we were there and opening the windows did not provide any relief. I know this is not the fault of the owners but it was very uncomfortable for sleeping. The showers are very tiny but we found this to be common in Europe.

Hello Tamra, thank you for your review. I know that the AC is a problem so for the next year we will buy mobile AC units that can be moved all around the bedroom. Hope to see you again to try this new AC units.

Nice Apartment, but wish we knew...

My family of 6 stayed here for 3 nights. We were told that someone would be at the apartment to let us in when we arrived. Unfortunately that didn't happen. I sent Gianluca a message, but she didn't reply. I sent texts to the other contacts she listed. No replies. I then had to call the phone numbers. No answers. I never did hear from Gianluca. After about 20 minutes standing outside with all our luggage and being a bit nervous that we'd have to find some place to stay, someone showed up to let us in. He quickly went over a few things with us and was on his way. Before he left, I pointed out that the table was dirty and sticky. He said that was just the way the table cloth was. After he left, I wiped it down and removed a lot of dirt from the table cloth, which gave me the feeling that the cleaning of the apartment was perhaps sub-par. The overall feeling of the apartment made me feel that the cleaning wasn't the best, just ok. The bedspread on one of the beds had spots on it. And some of the shelving was dusty. While the size of the apartment was perfect for our size of family, there were a few things I wished I had known before booking. The apartment is very dark, quite possibly because they are trying to conserve energy. Many light bulbs were removed or not working. I needed the flashlight on my phone to see in my suit case in one of the bedrooms. Because it's an inside unit, there aren't any windows in the rooms. One of the showers can only comfortably accommodate a small child. But the biggest issue was that the AC doesn't work between midnight and 8:00 am. It was very hot during the night and uncomfortable to sleep because there was no AC. On our last day, the circuit blew when we used a blow dryer, leaving us in the dark prior to our departure. While we stayed, we noticed that all of us would wake up with bites each morning. It was too dark to know what may have been biting. I didn't hear from Gianluca during our stay or while we waited to be let in, but she was prompt to reply to my e-mails prior to our arrival. The location was good. It was a 10 minute walk to the grocery store and coffee. I can't say that I wouldn't recommend this apartment, but I just wish I knew the issue with the AC and how dark the apartment was. This may not be an issue for some, but for us it was.

Hello, I completely disagree with your review. The apartment is very well cleaned and disinfected all the times. Every room has one or more windows and it's not dark. It's the very first time that we receive a review like this that it means there something untrue in what are you saying. The most hilarious things you said it's about the darkness and the torch of your mobile.

L'appartement comporte bien deux chambres avec deux lits confortables plus un convertible qu'il est un peu moins. L'emplacement est idéal car vous pouvez faire tous les monuments de Florence à pied en moins de 10 minutes

Great location and very comfortable apartment.

Fantastic location in Florence. Close enough to major points of interest, but a few blocks of buffer between the apartment and the hoards of tourists. The apartment is as described and very large. Beds were comfortable. On of the showers is particularly small for anyone over 5'22" and 140 pounds. The owner was very helpful and communicated throughout the rental period. I would highly recommend this apartment.

great time

we had a great time at the apartment. if we would come back to firenze we defently stay there again. its location is great. couldnt be better. it is right in the middle of town and near to all site and attraction. the environment of the apartment is very lively and safety, since we where two woman it was very important for us and we felt safe all part of the day, even in the evenings and nights. the apartment is very very clean and you have in the apartment all you need and can think about. the staying was very very cosy. the beds are cosy and the kithcen very cosy and have all you need. there is a WIFI in the apartment which is very good to use. Gianluca the owner was very easy to comunicate and she is very nice and warm and was very helpful. this is defently the perfect place to stay at firenze

lovely apartment

A lovely, quiet apartment with excellent facilities and well located. Having two bathrooms, one for each bedroom, is really convenient for a party of four. It is very quiet at night, but just a 5 minute walk from Duomo. Good shops and cafes are nearby, and there is a bus service to the main railway station. The owner is lovely - extremely helpful. We had a wonderful week there, and cannot imagine finding a better apartment in Florence!

Appartament is very comfortable (it looks perfect like a 5 star luxury appartament in a hotel), clean and with much amonities. The owner is very kind and helpful which made our week stay in Firenze a great time. You can eat a breakfast outside in a little yard.There is close to the supermercato and old town

This must be the best location in Florence. It is in the historic back streets just behind the Duomo. Gianluca is helpful in every way and the apartment is very comfortable and attractive. You must not to be able to handle stairs and it is well worth it.

holidays to the top

The apartment was completely as described. It was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. There were many added supplies in the kitchen that made cooking easy. The apartment was very quiet (mostly on a courtyard) . The apartment's location was absolutely perfect - even better than described. We really felt at home, and hope to return!

the best solution

The apartment is extremely well located at walking distance of the most important historical buildings. It is also well equipped and clean. Although is on a ground floor that feels like a forth due to the height of the ceiling, it is not to complicated to get to the apartment. Finally, Gianluca and his brother andrea are extremely nice people. Therefore, I would fully recommend this apartment.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Florence. We rented 3 nights - definitely not enough! The apartment is beautiful, spacy and spotless and has the best location - you can visit Duomo and Piazza Signoria early morning or late evening, just a few minutes around the corner Thank you, Gianluca!

absolutely perfect

Exactly as the website said but with the added advantage of being in an ideal quiet location. Gianluca was lovely and made us very welcome.Barely a few minutes from the centre of Florence this apartment was an oasis of calm after a busy day and very close to the supermarket. It felt like living in Italy rather than just visiting. Everything perfect, extremely recommend.

there is no better accommodation

The apartment is located in the center of the city, there is no better location, about 400 meters from the Duomo. About 10 minutes walk from the station. On arrival we were welcomed by owner. The equipment is complete. Clean apartment. The owner recommended a good mini market nearby. A return is certainly possible!

amazing stay

Very nice apartment in a charming neighborhood area. Great access to shopping and restaurants. Great little bakery near the apartment. We spent countless hours early mornings and late evenings, a really fun place! The apartment was great for our family of four and Gianluca made certain that we understood everything and was there for anything we needed. Highly recommedned!
