The 5-star vacation home ANNO 1792 —first floor is located in the historic Klenterhof, one of the most beautiful and significant captains’ houses on Sylt. Situated in a quiet yet central location in Alt-Westerland, you can easily reach the train station, downtown, and the beach—ideal for a relaxing and exclusive vacation on Sylt.
The historic, protected property, dating from 1792, was completely renovated over a period of two years with great attention to detail and restored true to its original design. Nestled within a stunning, approximately 3,000 m² farm garden, an extraordinary vacation retreat has been created, featuring five exclusive luxury accommodations that combine historic charm with modern living comfort.
The ANNO 1792 Suite—Ground Floor is located on the first floor of the main house and features a private southeast-facing terrace with high-quality teak furniture—a sheltered spot for sunny breakfasts or relaxing after a day at the beach.
Through an elegant, black double-leaf entry door, you enter the traditional “Goode Stuv.” To the left is the cozy living area with a classic tiled stove, an open-concept kitchen, and a stylish dining nook. High-quality materials, angular bricks, and plenty of wooden elements create a warm, cozy, and luxurious atmosphere.
On the right side of the apartment, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms with comfortable double beds, as well as two elegant natural-stone bathrooms with showers, one of which is en suite. The well-thought-out floor plan offers privacy and the utmost comfort—perfect for discerning couples or families.
In the spacious garden, you’ll find a shared sauna house featuring a Finnish sauna and steam room, as well as comfortable loungers. A swing and a sandbox make the Klenterhof particularly appealing for families as well. Guests arriving by car can park in their own designated spot next to the building—perfect for a stress-free arrival.
This stylish luxury retreat on Sylt combines tranquility, history, and exclusivity—a perfect place for a relaxing vacation with a sauna, proximity to the beach, and a special atmosphere. The Klenterhof is situated in an extraordinary, approximately 3,000 m² farm garden, surrounded by a traditional Frisian earthen wall—a true rarity on Sylt. Quietly located and far from large apartment complexes, the train station and downtown Westerland are just about 300 meters away.
The beach is only about 900 meters away. Each unit comes with a parking space on the property as well as a bicycle parking area. The shared sauna house and a small playground with a swing and sandbox round out the amenities.

All accommodation rates are based on a maximum of 2 people.
Each additional person (ages 4 and up) is charged €23 per night.
Plus a one-time fee: €186 for final cleaning and €25 for the booking fee.
- Please schedule check-in and check-out days for Saturday, Sunday, Friday, or Thursday whenever possible / subject to the occupancy schedule and availability. Other arrival days are available upon
request.
- Plus tourist tax (ages 18 and older): €4.10 per person per day from May 1 to October 31, or €2.05 per person per day from January 1 to April 30.
The visitor’s tax is payable at the time of booking and will be forwarded by us to the tourist office.
- On holidays and during school breaks, the minimum stay is 7 nights.
