Beautiful, very quiet vacation apartments near Lake Abtsdorf. Oberheining is a district of Laufen an der Salzach, the "Pearl at the Gates of Salzburg." We are a privately run property in a very beautiful location. We are surrounded by the magnificent landscape of the Berchtesgadener Land region and are within easy reach of Salzburg, Bad Reichenhall, and Berchtesgaden. Lake Königsee, the beautiful Lake Hintersee, the world’s oldest original mountain railway, the “Predigtstuhlbahn” in Bad Reichenhall, the Jenner Mountain Railway, the Rupertus Therme in Bad Reichenhall, the Watzmann Therme in Berchtesgaden, the Nazi Documentation Center on the Obersalzberg, the Hitler Tea House on the Rossfeld… and many other attractions. Close to Lake Waginger, Lake Chiemsee with Fraueninsel and Herrenchiemsee Castle, and the Silent Night Chapel in Oberndorf—where the most famous Christmas carol, “Silent Night, Holy Night,” was first sung in 1818.
Beautiful, quiet 2-room basement apartment with 2 large windows that open, at ground level. Freshly renovated in 2025, with free Wi-Fi available. The living area features a kitchenette equipped with all necessary appliances, including a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker—perfect for cooking. The living area also includes a large table with a corner bench and chairs, as well as a pull-out sofa bed and a TV. All furniture is made of Swiss stone pine. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, two nightstands, and a wardrobe to store your clothes. Beds are made; extra blankets and pillows are provided. The bathroom features a toilet, shower, towels, a hair dryer, and toiletries.
5 minutes to Lake Abtsdorf, 3 minutes by car to Laufen with its historic old town, the Europasteg, and the Länderbrücke bridge to Oberndorf and the “Silent Night” Chapel. It’s a 45-minute drive to Berchtesgaden or 1 1/4 hours to the Skiwelt Amade.
The apartment is located about 15 km from Salzburg. Berchtesgaden, with its extensive hiking area, is 30 km away.
