The nearby Moselle is different everywhere and well worth exploring. One of the more famous cities is Cochem, which is close to this holiday apartment. Cochem is a very atmospheric town where you can stroll through narrow streets, enjoy cosy terraces and visit the impressive Reichsburg, which towers high above the city. From the castle, you have a beautiful view over the river and the surrounding vineyards.

The Geierlay suspension bridge is a 360-metre-long pedestrian suspension bridge, similar to those found in Nepal. You walk 100 metres above the ground! The spectacular bridge is among the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in Europe. A must-see if you visit this region. You walk beautifully in this area.

Kastellaun is also worth a visit. This town has a rich history and an impressive castle ruin that you can explore.
