Welcome to our “Watt’n Nüst” vacation apartment in “Haus Christine,” a comfortable retreat on the charming North Sea island of Langeoog. This exclusive accommodation will pamper you with luxurious comfort and wonderful moments of relaxation. Just a few minutes’ walk and you’re at the beach!

The duplex vacation apartment features a modern, open-concept layout across two floors, creating a spacious atmosphere. In the attic, the living area and kitchen are harmoniously connected, so that after a day at the beach or a bike ride, you can spend cozy evenings here on the comfortable sofa, watching TV and reading, or enjoying cooking together. For culinary adventures, the modern kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner induction stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. The adjacent dining area is perfect for sharing meals together.

The two separate bedrooms in the attic offer both comfort and privacy. The master bedroom features a large double bed (180 cm), while the children’s bedroom has two elegant single beds that can be pushed together to form a large double bed if needed.

Two elegant bathrooms with natural light—one in the attic and one in the loft—provide pleasant alternatives. In the upper bathroom, complete with a shower and its own sauna, you can enjoy a soothing time of relaxation.

The highlight of the vacation rental is the beautifully furnished rooftop terrace. The perfect setting for relaxation with a fresh sea breeze—a wonderful vacation feeling!

An exclusive North Sea vacation, centrally located and close to the beach!

In our exclusive, newly built vacation home “Haus Christine” and the neighboring “Haus Casper,” you’ll enjoy a dreamy getaway in the heart of Langeoog. The houses are located right on the pedestrian zone and at the same time on a quiet, green side street. Just a few minutes’ walk from the property, you’ll find several restaurants, cafés, bakeries, doctors’ offices, and supermarkets. Small fashion boutiques, green spaces and parks, gyms, a bar, and a bookstore are also nearby. Just a 6-minute walk and you’ll be at the beautiful beach!

Four comfortable vacation apartments at “Haus Christine” invite you to relax and unwind; two of the apartments feature private gardens, while the others are designed as duplexes. Two of the units have their own sauna.
Both houses are KfW-40 energy-efficient homes with sustainability certification (built in 2025) and are powered by a heat pump and solar panels.

The property has a special place in the island’s history: It was once the home of Casper Otten, a prominent islander who served as foreman of the DGzRS station on Langeoog from 1891 to 1923 and, during that time, rescued 94 people in distress at sea together with his crew. Casper Otten also served as the local lifeguard, ensuring safety at the “Family Pool” and the “Men’s Pool,” while his wife, Christine Otten, supervised the “Women’s Pool.” Casper Otten was awarded the Silver Prince Heinrich Medal for his bravery. Surprisingly, despite his rescue missions in the water, Otten had never learned to swim.
The two vacation homes honor this extraordinary man and his wife, combining their legacy with modern living comfort for lovers of the island of Langeoog.
