The Blue House - from hay barn to vacation apartment - now with SAUNA

The Blue House is part of a farm that is no longer in operation.
It used to be the hayloft above a former calf barn.
Now, the first floor houses a modern, spacious,
bright apartment with plenty of air and light, a large west-facing balcony, and additional seating in the courtyard.
You have a covered parking space.

Your accommodation:
Check-in via a key safe or with the host.
Entrance:
You have your own front door that leads into the spacious hallway with a coat rack and secure storage for bicycles and strollers.
The wide staircase leads up to the apartment.

Living and dining room:
We have a spacious, bright living room for you. The sleeper sofa for two people, a cozy armchair, and a large smart TV invite you to relax, and a cozy dining table that seats up to eight people offers plenty of space to sit back and unwind.
There’s also direct access to the sunny west-facing balcony.

Bedroom/Mini-Office:
The very large bedroom has two beds (each 1x2m) and a TV.
There’s also a crib here.
A large closet, a dresser, and two nightstands with lamps provide comfort and space for clothes and personal items.
The windows have blackout curtains.

An additional desk offers the option for office work or a home office.

Kids’ Room:
The adjoining room features a cozy sleeper sofa, a game table, and some games. Here, the children have their own little world.
Two slender adults can also sleep here (sofa bed 140x200 cm)

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, dishes, glasses, a kettle, a coffee maker, a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, ...
There’s also a small table for a quick breakfast.

Bathroom:
The beautiful bathroom is equipped with a sink, a large mirror, a hair dryer, a toilet, and a large bathtub with a shower.
Towels are provided for you.

Sauna:
On the first floor, there is a sauna room with a shower and loungers, which is accessible only to you. A flat-rate fee for use is charged separately.
Please bring your own sauna towels.

Outdoor area:
Additional seating and play areas are available in the courtyard. The courtyard gate protects your children from street traffic.
Your car will be parked under cover in the courtyard.

Other amenities:
A sauna is available in the house upon request.
If you want to charge your electric car, you can do so at our 11-kW wall box upon request for a fee.

Leisure and Dining:
The “Hexenklamm” premium hiking trail is 500 meters away. The “Schlabbeflicker Tour” for cyclists passes right by the house. Many other hiking and biking trails await you.
You can eat and drink within walking distance at the Pfälzerwaldhaus “Stockwaldhütte,” at the Italian restaurant in the Sportheim, at the Gölter-Schimmel inn, or at the Kunz hotel restaurant.

The city of Pirmasens—with its shoe outlets, Dynamikum, “PLUB” swimming pool, chocolate factory, and pedestrian zone—is just a five-minute drive away.

It’s a 15-minute drive to the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet.
It’s a 30-minute drive to the Citadel of Bitche in France.
