Resort:

The Sonnenwald vacation resort consists of three buildings, A, B, and C, each with vacation apartments of varying sizes.
I can offer you four vacation apartments here—two in Building An and two in Building C—ideal if you’re traveling in a group but still appreciate having a private retreat in your own apartment.
Each apartment has its own underground parking space. From there, you can take the stairs inside the building up to your vacation apartment. Please note: there is no elevator—therefore, the property is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
Next to the entrances to the underground parking garages, you’ll find key safes where you can retrieve the keys to the garage and your apartment.
The complex includes a multipurpose room with coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the basement of Building C.
You’ll also find a ski storage room and a table tennis room there.
The communal garden with chairs and sun loungers in front of the buildings is available to all guests, as are the small playground, the barbecue pit, and the snack area next to it.
Right behind the buildings, you can take a staircase up to the Gasthof Ranzinger, where you can enjoy breakfast (advance order required) as well as Bavarian delicacies for lunch or dinner. A few steps further on is a small grocery store with a selection of everyday items, as well as fresh rolls for breakfast.

In the neighboring village of Schöfweg, the “Zum Sonnenwald” restaurant is especially recommended; there’s also a village store with a bakery, another bakery, and a small grocery store.
You can also have breakfast at both bakeries.
