The KRABBE (HORS 135) vacation apartment, which has been largely newly renovated, is located almost next door to the HORS 130 vacation apartment in the same building and only about 500 m from the HORS 115 vacation home. It is situated on the first floor of an apartment building with a total of 5 units.

The building is located on the outskirts of the rural district of Minsen, right on the Europa Cycle Route. It is only about 600 m to the dike/sea (walking paths) and 4.5 km to the nearest sandy beach section in Schillig. Horumersiel, with good tourist infrastructure, is 5 km away.

The house features an outdoor seating area, access to a small garden/lawn with mature trees, and a large terrace with a beach chair, a table, and 6 chairs for shared use. Private small table, 2 chairs, and 1 lounge chair (can be placed anywhere). Unobstructed view over hedges and bushes to the immediately adjacent fields.

Separate entrance, small hallway. Living room with seating area, satellite TV, internet access (Wi-Fi, free), and dining area for 4 people. Kitchen open to the living room (4 burners, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker/coffee pod machine, refrigerator (with freezer compartment), toaster, electric kettle). Double bedroom. Bedroom with bunk beds. Shower/toilet, with hair dryer and washing machine (top-loading).

The vacation rental is located in the rural district of Minsen, in a quiet area, right on the Europaradweg. Bus stop (Minsen) approx. 600 m away. Bike rental in Schillig. The beaches of the popular North Sea resorts HORUMERSIEL and SCHILLIG are each 5 km away. HOHENKIRCHEN (8.5 km) offers a wide range of additional shopping options, the popular “Nordsee Spielstadt Wangerland,” and the “Wangermeer” (freshwater lake with a swimming beach). Nearest supermarket and outdoor/indoor swimming pool 5 km away; selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Jever with train station 20 km away; 18-hole golf course 27 km away. Excellent network of biking and hiking trails along the fields, meadows, and dikes of the Wangerland region.

AREA AND SURROUNDINGS:
The North Sea spa town of HORUMERSIEL, which is quite lively in the summer, is part of the municipality of Wangerland in the Friesland district of Lower Saxony and is located on the edge of the Wadden Sea National Park on the Frisian east coast, 20 km north of Wilhelmshaven. The traffic-calmed town center lies on both sides of the Horumer Tief. Behind the dike and Wangersiel, you’ll find a small marina for yachts and fishing boats, as well as a wide beach over 2 km long (mostly sand, with a nudist section, beach volleyball, beach chair rentals, and a playground), and the “Seesternchen” children’s playhouse. Excellent sailing, kiteboarding, and surfing opportunities, landboarding, and mudflat hikes. In town: a selection of shops for strolling, cafés, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a supermarket, and bike rentals (delivery service); the “Friesland-Therme” saltwater recreational pool, a spa center with a small wellness area, and a varied program of events. In the neighboring town of HOOKSIEL (9 km): indoor/wave pool, the ‘Hooksmeer’ inland lagoon with a water ski lift, sailing school, offshore cruises, and an indoor arcade, as well as additional restaurants—a well-maintained bike path along the dike leads there. In SCHILLIG (3 km): a long sandy beach, playground equipment, and a snack bar. In town: bike rentals and restaurants.
