Welcome to our stylish studio in Wernigerode – a tribute to Prof. Karl Oppermann (*1930 - †2022).
Centrally located yet peaceful, with a garage and a maisonette apartment – the perfect retreat in the Harz Mountains, just steps from the pedestrian zone.
The studio accommodates up to five guests and blends modern design with a cozy atmosphere. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
LIVING ROOM
The living room invites you to enjoy movie nights and musical interludes with its 5.1 sound system and Samsung Smart TV, including Spotify Premium. Popular apps such as YouTube and the ARD/ZDF media libraries are freely accessible, while Netflix, Prime, Disney+, DAZN, Sky, Wow, Apple TV, and Magenta TV are pre-installed for you to use with your own accounts.
Dim the Philips Hue lighting to set the perfect ambiance. The comfortable sofa bed (115x200 cm) provides additional sleeping space when needed.
BEDROOMS
On the lower level, you’ll find a cozy bedroom with a queen-size bed (140x200 cm). A high-end Bluetooth Marshall-speaker delivers excellent sound quality, while a stylish rope wardrobe (Loop Rope) and a wall-mounted shelf offer practical storage for clothing.
Upstairs in the gallery, accessed via stairs from the living room, is a spacious king-size bed (180x200 cm) along with a work area featuring a desk. A view of Wernigerode Castle enhances the unique charm of this sleeping area.
All sleeping spaces, including the sofa bed in the living room, are equipped with blackout blinds and curtains to ensure restful nights.
KITCHEN
The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with a child-safe induction cooktop, pots and pan, a fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, kettle, oven, toaster, mixer, crockery, glasses, and cutlery. You’ll also find several coffee and tea preparation options (coffee machine, French press, teapot with various filters).
The kitchen adjoins the dining area, creating a relaxed setting for cooking and dining together.
BATHROOM
The stylish bathroom features underfloor heating and a spacious, walk-in rain shower. A heated towel rail keeps your towels dry, even in summer, while the large, illuminated mirror provides ample lighting for your daily routine. A hairdryer and generous storage for toiletries add to the convenience.
GARAGE
A highlight of the property is the video-monitored private garage directly beneath the studio, reserved exclusively for our guests. The garage provides security for high-value vehicles and ample space for motorcycles or mountain bikes, ensuring your vehicle is well protected. It has a clearance height of 195 cm and a clearance width of 218 cm.
LAUNDRY ROOM
On the ground floor behind the garage, there is a laundry room with a washing machine and separate dryer for exclusive use - ideal for longer stays. An iron and ironing board are also available.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY AMENITIES
Our studio is perfect for families. We provide baby-proof electrical outlets, a high-quality, easy-to-clean Leander changing board, a baby cot, a high chair, a box of Duplo blocks, and a selection of board and card games - everything a young family might need.

If you prefer not to use the garage, you’re welcome to park across the courtyard in front of the entrance.
The entire studio is exclusively yours. An individual access code allows you to enter the property anytime without the need for keys.
For your safety, the garage is video-monitored, and the studio is equipped with a built-in safe, a fire extinguisher, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a first-aid kit.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the accommodation. Pets are not allowed. A cleaning fee of at least €200 will be charged in case of violations.
Please note that, due to space limitations, there is no additional wardrobe. However, there are four large drawers under the King-size bed, as well as the wardrobes and wall shelves shown in the photos, available for storing your clothes.
The facade of the house is yet to be completed, but any construction work will only take place when the property is unoccupied.
A tourist tax is charged in Wernigerode. Many accommodations charge this separately, but with us, it is included in the price. Upon arrival, you will receive a ticket that allows you to use public transport in the Harz district for free and also offers discounts in museums, restaurants, and attractions.
