Summary:
Cozy thatched vacation home with a view of the nearby lake - slow down from everyday life in Rügen's tranquil south.

The Space:
The vacation home has been comfortably furnished for renting. Approx. 130 square meters of living space offer enough room for 6 people with additional beds for up to 4 children. On the ground floor there is a large living/dining room with a wood-burning stove, HD TV and music system, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with access to the sun terrace and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and PHYSIOTHERM® infrared sauna for 3 people. The bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor are suitable for people with limited mobility.
The upper floor has a living room/bedroom, which is intended as a family room and has been equipped with plenty of toys for all ages. From there you can see through the branches of old fruit trees to the water.
The third bedroom with a view of the Mellnitz manor house and the second bathroom are also located on the upper floor.

The “Landhaus an der Wiek” is an oasis at any time of year and in any weather - a retreat into unspoiled nature.

Guest Access:
You have access to the entire accommodation including the outdoor area.

The Neighborhood:
The “Landhaus an der Wiek” is an excellent starting point for exploring the south of Rügen for hikers, cyclists, water hikers and especially for observing the flight of cranes in the fall. Close to the house you have access to the Rügen cycling network, an ideal starting point for wonderful cycling tours.
The Romanesque church of St. Stephanus in Swantow is a worthwhile nearby destination (approx. 1 km) to get used to it, to go on a tour at one of the regular summer concerts or even quite profanely to buy breakfast eggs from Richard in the old vicarage. The Hanseatic city of Stralsund with all its sights is only 0.5 hours away by car.

You can leave your children “free” at the accommodation. Our property and its surroundings offer plenty of space to play and run around. You can also launch your own inflatable boats or canoes not far from the house.

Please note that construction work may be taking place on the neighboring property, as a new house is being built there.

Getting Around:
Up to 3 cars can be parked in front of the accommodation free of charge.

Other Things to Note:
Bed linen and towels are not included in the price of your stay. If required, you can book linen packages directly with us up to 5 days before your arrival. Please note that it is not possible to book linen if you book less than 5 days before your arrival date.
