Perfect house in a sparkly location

Our family (littles to grandparents) had the very best time at this home. The house is incredibly well-cared for and has everything you need to maximize R&R time. The pool area is beautiful and allows for entertaining as well as splashing! The views of the bay sparkle and are visible from the living room and two bedrooms. The neighborhood is also terrific - friendly folks walking by and great walking/running areas. There's also a sweet beach close by for exploring and wading. It's an easy trip to Annapolis by uber/car for yummy food and exploring downtown. I could go on and on! We didn't want to leave. On top of all that, the host is wonderful and made our visit that much more special - easy to communicate with and super helpful up to and throughout our stay. Highly highly recommend!

Great Stay on the Bay

My wife and I stay in this area every summer and this house is an amazing choice for your stay. The location is fantastic as you have great views, terrific pool and still close to everything. The owner was a complete joy to work with and so accommodating. You really can't do better than this property.

Elegant house in a great location

House has been very well maintained and you feel at home as soon as you walk in. It is well kitted out and is a great base for exploring the area or for just letting the day drift by as you enjoy the views fo the Bay.

Wonderful home in beautiful setting

We had a fantastic vacation at this property. The home is beautiful and it overlooks the bay. There is a small beach across the way, too. The gardens and grounds were absolutely beautiful - we spent tons of time outside at the pool, eating dinner by the water, or in the front yard looking out at the water. The interior of the home was fantastic and the host was incredibly helpful and in communication with us throughout the week. Thank you!!

Incredible property with stunning views!

Wonderful vacation at a property that exceeded our expectations! The check in process was very smooth as our host, Jennifer, offered contactless check in — the house was spotlessly clean and ready for us at our designated check in time. Our host was also gracious and provided us with fresh flowers, coffee, and a bottle of wine, which we much appreciated. Not only was there a starter supply of paper products, but travel size toiletries as well, which was very helpful until we could make a grocery store run. The owner was also very responsive to any questions we had. The house was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was equipped with everything imaginable for a comfortable stay (two thumbs up for the large size coffee maker!!). The view from the front of the house was amazing overlooking the water — great place to enjoy a morning coffee! The beds were all very comfortable and we were supplied with plenty of towels, including towels for the pool. We also appreciated the fact that the house had separate air conditioning controls for the first and second floors. The highlight of our stay, though, was the time we were able to spend together outside at the sparkling saltwater pool. Although the house was situated in a neighborhood, the pool area was well landscaped and made us feel as though we were in a very private oasis. Highly recommend!!

Perfect vacation home

This beautiful home was a perfect vacation for our family. The home itself could be pictured in a magazine, the pool is lovely, the neighborhood is quiet, the beach across the street is quiet and charming, and the views are expansive. The owners are also very responsive and kind — we had no issues at all during our stay. Would go back!

Just what we needed

This getaway is just what we needed. The owner was phenomenal - very responsive and truly wanted to ensure we have a comfortable stay. We brought our family with two little ones who love to swim and they had a blast. Even though the weather didn’t completely cooperate, the owner did everything she could to make sure we all could enjoy the heated pool, and the amenities of the home. The personal touches- nice soaps, cozy towels, not to mention that view from the bedroom! There’s also a pleasant short walk to the Bay beach! What a lovely stay! Definitely what we needed- thank you!

Incredible and beautiful home overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The opportunity to rent a home like this is hard to believe. Home was immaculate when we arrived and host was incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dream escape!!

The house was perfect for our family in every way. The pool, the kids room, the master bedroom......all more than accommodating. The location to Annapolis is an easy commute. Most importantly the management was over the top terrific! All in all this house will be rented by us again!

Exquisite home with an unbelievable view

We stayed in 81 Bay Drive for a month. The online VRBO pictures are an accurate depiction of the home. The entire house is appointed with authentic (and costly) antiques and original artwork throughout. The house faces southeast, and so your natural alarm clock is the sunrise in your master bedroom. The pool in back was a welcome reprieve from the beginning of the hot/humid season. Although the lot is small, the pool is completely surrounded by the home, the pool house and walls/foliage such that it feels very private. Parking is not allowed on the street, but the house has rare-for-the-area parking space for maybe 4-5 cars. There are lots of walkers and bikers that stroll on the street in front of the house (which divides the property from a very small park space across the street, which sits atop a 20-30 foot bluff over the bay.) The house has an unobstructed view of hundreds of square miles of ocean, with sailboats, crab boats and ocean freighters changing the scenery constantly. The AHA property managers are wonderful and very attentive to any needs you may have. We will certainly stay in this home again. The one watch out for this home ... this is not the place for rambunctious children or wild pets at all. We didn't have those, but we were very careful of the owner's furnitures and belongings. This is not your standard rental property ... it looks like an expensive primary residence. It needs to be treated with the care it deserves.

Great experience

I took my family (four generations) to visit Annapolis and stayed at this beautiful home in a beautiful community. Everybody had a wonderful time. My 22 month old loved all the books and the toys in the house. My grandma enjoyed the views from both inside and outside the house. I enjoyed jogging along the community beach and watching the sunrise. It was such a wonderful vacation. And most importantly, Christine and Ingrid gave me tons of help before, during, and after the trip. They were highly responsive to all my requests and helped me take care of details. I’m really impressed. Gorgeous house + five-star service. Thank you so much for making this trip such a wonderful experience for us.

Just Beautiful

Precisely as advertised: a gorgeous home right across the road from Chesapeake Bay, stunning views, all that. The house was spotless and meticulously appointed. And they had toys for the toddlers! Weather was atrocious, but I can't hold VRBO responsible for hurricanes. We'd stay there again in a minute.

Gorgeous home, perfect vacation!

My family recently spent a week in Annapolis and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had booked the right place. The house is even prettier than the pictures and has stunning views of the bay. It is located a few miles from downtown in a gorgeous, secluded neighborhood. We had seven adults and one baby, and we had plenty of room and privacy. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances we needed. The outdoor area off the kitchen has a great pool and plenty of comfy seating as well as a large table that was perfect for dinners outside. The house manager Christine was absolutely wonderful and made everything seamless for us. The property is well maintained and clean, and everything was perfect when we arrived. We highly recommend this home!

Spectacular home with incredible view of the Chesapeake!

This house is in the perfect location. The thing that first grabs you is the view of the Bay. Whether you're waking up in the master suite or lounging in the Adirondack chairs on the front lawn, you feel as though the Bay is all yours. Bay Ridge is a quiet neighborhood great for walking, running, or biking and it is an easy 10 minute drive to all that the Annapolis city dock waterfront has to offer. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated with a lot of excellent artwork, but yet very comfortable and accommodating. The overall house and specifically the kitchen are very well equipped which certainly made us feel at home. The sleeping accommodations throughout the house are very comfortable, and that is true for the third floor as well despite the slanted ceiling over the beds. However, the ladder to get up to the third floor and the trap door in the floor make it less than ideal for small children...although our 6 and 9 year old had no problem and actually thought the "trees house was cool!" We unfortunately visited in the winter so we didn't get to enjoy the pool or the beaches, but everyone had a wonderful time. Lastly, I would be remiss in not singing the praises of Christine and AHA Rentals. Christine's professionalism and courtesy before, during, and after our trip made the experience superb.

Beautiful Home on the Bay!

We have rented many homes in this neighborhood, but this house is one we always wanted to rent and it didn't disappoint. It is lovely inside and out and we especially loved the second story bedrooms with views of the Bay. We were here in the winter so we didn't get the full benefit of the pool and patio but we found the inside quite cozy. Highly recommended!!
