You can reach the beach in 10 minutes by bike or car. The dog beach is ideal for swimming and romping around. In the Tourist Information you will get competent information about all events and these are rich, in and around Karlshagen. The staff will also give you tips on what you can do on the island in the rare event of bad weather. The large living room is cosily furnished with a flat-screen TV and music system and can accommodate two additional beds if required. Games and books provide entertainment. The integrated kitchen has a hob with oven, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, raclette and dishwasher. A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge for small children. From the living room you can access the south-facing balcony with table, 6 chairs and parasol. You can also dry your swimming gear here. From here you have a beautiful view over a well-tended garden. There are benches and tables on the property where you can eat your own barbecued sausages after a sunny day of swimming. You can park your bikes in the shed. For shorter or longer walks, there are extensive meadows and woods in the immediate vicinity. An insider tip for fish eaters. Be sure to visit the harbour. (approx. 15 minutes on foot) Here you can get freshly caught fish directly from the fisherman. The smoked products and salads are heavenly. Fish solyanka and fried fish with fried potatoes is a must.
