Relájese en el pantano en nuestra cabina de 'Big Cajun'

Hermosa costumbre-construido Cajun Cabin, con una cocina totalmente equipada, sala de estar y baño completo. Interior de la cabina es rústico y se construye de recuperada ciprés virgen y pino.

La cabina tiene una cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio principal y dos camas de tamaño doble en el segundo dormitorio, junto con un asiento sofá y el amor en la sala de estar. El baño tiene una combinación de bañera / ducha.

La cabina cuenta con un gran televisor en la sala de estar y está equipada con WiFi y DirectTV.

La cabina está construida en la propiedad justo al lado de Pierre Part Bay. Hay un gran muelle cubierto donde se puede pescar o amarrar su barco. Hay una rampa para botes a poca distancia de donde se puede lanzar su barco ya sea pescado o simplemente explorar los bellos canales que rodean Pierre Part, incluyendo el lago Verret y River Belle.

Usted puede incluso echar un vistazo a las estrellas de la gente del pantano durante su estancia! Rainbow Inn, un lugar de rodaje frecuente para el espectáculo, está justo al cruzar la bahía desde la cabina y está a poca distancia.

This cabin had everything we needed. So peaceful being able to sit in the rocking chairs each morning with our coffees and stare at the water. Excellent descriptions on the website and owner was very helpful. Definitely a must stay each time I am in the area.

A very nice cottage style cabin on Pierre part bay

Nice dock on water, very near a boat landing for convenience, in Pierre part. Go shop the Pierre part store while your in the area. Very clean cabin.

Had a great stay, hosts were awesome. Communicative, accommodating and friendly. We toured the state of Louisiana with our English cousins and the experience provided by our hosts was one of their favorite.

Awesome Property

I loved this cabin, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, very quiet. I love Pierre Part and this cabin is right in the village, and is across the road from the river, we sat on the swing in the evenings watching the river go by. Everything about the cabin is wonderful, Marilyn and Eddie are wonderful and easy to get along with, they made our stay easy and seamless. Eddie gives a great swamp tour if you are interested. Loved every minute, our stay went by way too fast, wish we were still there.

Thanksgiving with Family

My husband’s family is from the area so we visit often but always feel imposing. We booked the cabin so we had our own little space with our 1 year old for Thanksgiving. My husband’s brothers and their families and his mother came for the day for Thanksgiving lunch and it couldn’t have been more perfect. This could easily become our go to place when visiting. We loved it!

Bayou Fun

This was the second time we stayed here. It’s a beautiful relaxing place to stay. It is very well maintained and everything is clean and welcoming. Mr. and Mrs. Lambert are the nicest hosts. They checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Mr. Lambert took us on a swamp tour that was the highlight of our trip. He was so knowledgeable about the area and a very good tour guide. I would highly recommend you stay here if your going to that part of Louisiana.

Cajun Cabin was all we hoped it would be. The setting on the bayou urged us to sit a spell and take in God's beauty. The cabin's use of reclaimed wood for the building material was cleverly and expertly done. The rocking chairs on the porch got plenty of use and, thanks to the Martin bird houses next door, the mosquitos were not all that bothersome. Great week all around. The owners are so hospitable and thoughtful.

Great Cabin and Hosts

As a parent of two older teens, finding a place to stay that is fun for them and relaxing for us at the same time can be a monumental challenge! However, the 'Big Cajun Cabin" was just such a place. The teens enjoyed fishing from the dock, boiling crawfish, and exploring south Louisiana. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs and on the dock swing relaxing. My husband enjoyed catching a mess of catfish from the dock as well! The cabin has every accomodation you require and is super clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The host's southern hospitatility is beyond compare! They actually caught crawfish the morning of our arrival and boiled them for us that evening! We enjoyed meeting all the neighbors who came to visit and eat crawfish as well. They all made us feel right at home. We highly recommend the Big Cajun Cabin or the smaller cabin they also own located behind the Big Cajun Cabin.

WoW..just amazing..

We love this place. We were there 10 years ago for my birthday, so we decided to go back this year. It's an amazing place to stay. It was such a healing place my wife just loved to just relax on the porch. Enjoy the scenery and the friendlest folks in the neighborhood I've ever encountered over there. Eddie & Marilyn kept checking on us. I had car problems when I first got there and Kept checking to see if they could help me. We hope to return in September, but this time for 2 weeks... If you miss an opportunity to stay there, you will regret it. You actually feel like you're sitting in Mayberry its so laid back.and peaceful .and the fishing..its Great..

Great location

We had a great time took our party barge with us and the launch is right next to the dock it was convenient. Cabin was super clean and very well kept up. We were able to dock our boat overnight at the dock that comes with the house. That makes to where we didn’t have to pull it in and out of the water. We will stay here again.

Father's Day Getaway

Perfect in every way! Boat dock/launch and bait shop within 1 minute walking distance! Grocery store within 5 minutes! Landry's Restaurant - delicious/authentic cajun food (I should know, I am 100% cajun) within 5 minutes! Water access to lake and fishing canals couldn't be easier! The cabin was spotless! Very comfortable beds, well stocked towels/linens, kitchen had extras, and front porch rockers overlooking the bayou was just beautiful! The owners, Eddie and Marilyn were super nice and accommodating! We will definitely be coming here again!!

Wonderful cabin, wonderful location

We wanted a cabin with character off the beaten path, and this was exactly what we were after. The cabin is very spacious and beautiful inside. The dock across the street is perfect for just relaxing and watching the bayou. I can’t think of a thing that could be done better.

Great cabin in Pierre Part

This is a great place to stay if you bring a boat to Pierre Part. There is a boat ramp within 50 yards of the cabin. The bay stays calm even when the lake is rough because of winds. The owners are very friendly. They take good care of you. I highly recommend the Cajun Cabin Retreat.

Since we built our cabins, we have met so many interesting people from as far away as Canada, Germany, France and Australia. We love South Louisiana, because our way of life is very unique. Within a very short driving distance, there are so many places to see and adventures to experience. Louisiana is often referred to as 'Sportsman's Paradise.' This is so true!

The nearby Atchafalaya Basin is the nation's largest river swamp, containing almost one million acres of America's most significant bottomland hardwoods, swamps, bayous, and backwater lakes.

When you launch your boat into Pierre Part Bay, you will have access to endless waterways, including Lake Verret and Belle River. Bring your own fishing gear to experience some of the best fresh-water fishing in the country. If you are a bass fisherman, you can access bass-fishing paradise through Bayou Boeuf, Flat Lake, Lake Verret, Six Mile Lake, Lower Atchafalaya River, Bayou Long, Duck Lake and many others.

Numerous day trips are available including plantation tours of historic River Road Plantations, the Louisiana Capitol City of Baton Rouge, the French Quarter, the National World War II Museum, Audubon Zoo, the Aquarium of the Americas all located in historic and fun-filled New Orleans.
