If you don’t want to bring your own boat, you can use our rental service located in the harbor on the lagoon. Motorboats, jet skis, and canoes are available for rent here. Boats that don’t require a license are also available.
Aside from its maritime location, the spacious, well-maintained facility has much more to offer. For sports activities, there’s a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and a small soccer field. A children’s playground is also available here. In the lagoon town, there’s a bistro where you can also enjoy breakfast. If you prefer to prepare your own meals, you can use the bread roll delivery service on the premises. The barbecue area for your own cookouts rounds out the amenities.
Ueckermünde Beach
The fine sandy beach at Ueckermünde, just 200 meters from Lagunenstadt, is equally popular with all beachgoers. When it comes to dining, you can choose from various fish and snack stands or stop by the beautiful beach hall. In addition to beach volleyball courts, a bungee trampoline facility, and a mini-golf course, the water sports center is a real crowd-pleaser.
The Seaside Resort of Ueckermünde
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde is a small town over 750 years old that has been beautifully restored. The town’s central square is the market square. Concerts are frequently held here in the summer. The market square is also the starting point for various guided tours of the town. Many restaurants dot the townscape. Otherwise, the usual range of services found in a German seaside resort is available within walking distance—from banks to pharmacies, from supermarkets to boutiques.
