The fireplace in the living room makes this apartment a cozy temporary home, even during the cooler months. The sleeper sofa provides an extra sleeping spot when needed—perfect for a short trip for three or a family visit.

In the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave with baking function, and coffee maker, you can prepare your meals however you like. Or you can keep it simple: at the “La Residenza” restaurant on the first floor, you can enjoy pizza and pasta, or savor breakfast from the nearby bakery. 

Underfloor heating and high-quality designer vinyl flooring ensure cozy warmth in every season—ideal for guests who want to explore Usedom even in the fall and winter.

The Karlshagen Beach Residence is located right on the beach on the sunny island of Usedom, separated from the white, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach only by the dunes. Right on the beachfront in the quiet northern part of the island, 12 bright, lovingly furnished vacation apartments ranging from 26 to 104 m² await you; they were extensively renovated in 2020/21.

Many apartments feature a private balcony with a view of the Baltic Sea and a fireplace—perfect for cozy evenings while the waves crash outside. The apartments feature stylish furnishings, comfortable double beds, a fully equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, microwave, refrigerator), as well as satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

Ideal for families: The flat, child-friendly sandy beach begins right outside the door. On the first floor, our pizzeria La Residenza treats guests to Italian specialties, ice cream, and cocktails. Playgrounds and the bakery with fresh rolls are less than 20 meters away.

Perfect for couples: Enjoy romantic sunsets from the balcony, relax in the evening by the crackling fireplace, and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. In the off-season, Karlshagen offers soothing tranquility with deserted beaches and crisp sea air. The Baltic Sea spas in Ahlbeck and Zinnowitz are easily accessible.

Dogs Welcome: Karlshagen offers two designated dog beaches, both within walking distance of the residence. Behind the dunes, expansive coastal forests invite you to take long walks. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome in select apartments (8.50 per night). The tiled and vinyl floors are ideal for sandy paws.

The property features a lockable bike storage room with an outlet for charging e-bikes, parking spaces right next to the building, and a wide range of recreational activities in the immediate vicinity: boat and fishing trips, sailing, surfing, tennis, horseback riding, as well as the Peenemünde Historical-Technical Museum and the Trassenheide Butterfly Park.

All apartments are non-smoking. Bed linens and towels can be added to your reservation for 20 per person per stay. Operating costs are included in the final cleaning fee.
