En 2017 se construyó un segundo espacio habitable en la propiedad.
Vea fotos de 2 dormitorios adicionales, baño completo, cocina completa, sala de estar, baño completo y 3er piso. El nuevo espacio está separado (ahora hay esencialmente dos casas separadas) y es perfecto para 2 familias para alquilar juntas.

Ubicado en 3 acres de bosque de madera dura, esta casa ha sido completamente renovada. En 2019, la casa principal obtuvo pisos nuevos y baños renovados. En 2017, se agregó un garaje para 2 automóviles con espacio habitable arriba. Esta nueva sala de estar cuenta con 2 dormitorios, un baño completo, una cocina completa con área para comer, un área de TV / sala de estar y una terraza. Family Vacation

We had a great week. The house suited us well. There were plenty of bedrooms and space for our family. The beach was spectacular! We had a wonderful time. We would stay again.

Lovely lake house with amazing secluded beach

This place was so nice for our family and kids! We were 3 couples, each with kids, so the separation of the unit above the garage was nice and the basement with shuffleboard was great bonus space for the older kids. Nicely stocked and communication with the owner was great.

Beautiful Michigan beach get away!

The beach at this home was amazing. If you don't want to go all the way down to the water there is a great viewing deck to watch the sunset. The bonfire pit was located near the cliffs edge and very private. The home was spacious and the addition built last year was an excellent bonus. The owner Tom was very responsive and wonderful to work with. We would love to go back some day!

Great for a large family

Set-up of quarters and kitchens allows for spending time together, or privately, inside and out. Beautiful beach with manageable stairs, including a landing with chairs. Would consider renting again. JM Plymouth

Great Location

Perfect location! We loved the easy access to the beautiful sandy beach. The kids collected rocks and the teens played beach volleyball. We enjoyed running and walking in the woods and park right next door. And it's a short drive into downtown and to the golf course. Loved it.

A week worth repeating.

The week in Manistee at this rental house was memorable despite less than ideal weather. The house handled our crew of 10 adults + 2 children both inside and out. The yard came in handy for keeping the kids busy, and the quick walk to the nearly private beach came in handy often. The Manistee area is full of things to do, including public beaches, marinas, and a nice downtown with many great restaurants. Expanding your range to nearby cities adds more great adventures, including the Sleeping Bear Dunes. And don't forget that there is an airport for those looking to get in and out quickly.

Beautiful location!

Took my sons and their families on an in-state getaway after cancelling our Disney trip. Everyone just needed to spend some time together and this was the perfect place. One family over the garage and one downstairs with me worked perfectly. Played at our own beach all day, hiked the trails, grilled dinner several times, and enjoyed watching the amazing sunsets after roasting marshmallows at the fire pit every night. Beautiful location and amenities all to ourselves. We had a wonderful week!

A wonderful getaway from the city

We loved our stay at Tom's place. We had two families plus a set of grandparents and Tom's place was the perfect setup. Everyone was able to hang out together but then go back to their respective "homes" at night. It also helped a lot to have 2 kitchens when cooking for 11 people. Everyone loved the easy access to the beach. Tom provided beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels, a boogie board, and lots of sand toys. There is also a nice fire pit to roast marshmallows in the evening. I did not give 5 stars for cleanliness because we did find some animal droppings around the house when we arrived. We are in a wooded area so that's probably to be expected. We did do a full cleaning upon arrival in light of COVID. The only other minor thing is that there is no hair dryer, so bring your own. Otherwise, we would stay here again if we have another big family get together. Easy access to the beach, close to downtown area, and Meijer's was only 15 minutes away. Tom was very thorough and he answered all my questions promptly.

Overly accommodating

The property manager has done a great job providing nearly everything you would need during a family vacation. The home, yard and beach access are well kept. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great low maintenance vacation home.

The owner was very responsive throughout the rental process. However, we were disappointed in the condition of the cottage in the following areas: The water system is in need of additional treatment as the water has iron coloration and sulfide odor. The steps to the beach need repair and regular maintenance for safety reasons. The basement has excess humidity and subsequently, mold and mildew issues that are quite pervasive. These issues detracted from the overall cottage experience but the place has very good potential if these issues are addressed.

the place was in a beautiful location ,did not have a good view of water because of the house next door.the only thing I didn't like was no air conditioning and it got into the 90's was very warm in the house the first few days

Perfect Weekend

Owners were fantastic to work with and everything you could possibly need is available at the house. Plenty of room for people to sprawl out (and we didn't even use the basement). Gorgeous new construction and very comfortable beds. Peek-a-boo views of the water from the home as the lot is beautiful and very wooded. Short walk to the stairs to the beach. Adirondack chairs are on a deck that sits at the bottom of the stairs but back up off the beach and shielded from the elements a bit. Depending on the water level and weather there will be more or less beach from day to day. If the fire pit area is wet just dig a hole in the sand and make your own. We had a fantastic time. Beautiful

We had a wonderful time staying at Tom's beautiful lake home. The new addition is ideal for families vacationing with adult children. Tom was very responsive to all of our questions, and offered to be of assistance if we needed anything. The location is spectacular, and if you enjoy nature, this is an ideal rental for you!

Wonderful and relaxing

I would recommend this vacation home to anyone who is looking for a beautiful getaway. The house was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The beach was clean and we found lots of sea glass. We enjoyed the water, the sunsets and at night the breathtaking view of the stars and Milky Way. At night we left the windows open and you could hear a pin drop, it was so quiet. Everything is as the owner says. My family and I had a wonderful stay. We hope to come back next summer.

Amazing Lake Michigan Cottage

What a wonderful week my family and I just spent at this amazing Lake Michigan cottage. The cottage was modern, very clean and well equipped. The kitchen was spacious and had all modern kitchen appliances and abundance of cooking supplies and utensils. Living room was very comfortable with TV, satellite dish and DVD player. The yard was very expansive, plenty of room for a volleyball net and tons of trees for hammocking. One of the most amazing part of this cottage was the unbelievable view and access to Lake Michigan. Very private sandy beach, great fire pit near the beach and a great deck for tanning or watching the sunset. We enjoyed 7 wonderful nights watching the spectacular sunset on Lake Michigan. Owners were very quick at responding to questions and great to work with. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful, amazing Lake Michigan cottage.

Wonderful place in a wonderful location!

Place was very clean and was a great place to access the attached beach, local town, and all the sights of Northwest Michigan. My daughter who recently went to Florida shared the first time she saw the beach, "This is better then Florida". The cool nights with the fire pit on the beach, the house which everything worked, no suprises. It was a great vacation spot, and would highly recommend it!

Low traffic beach, charming cabin!

This get-away in Manistee brings the best of both worlds - a cabin in the woods and a beach with very few visitors! The kitchen here is large & nicely updated, all bedrooms are decorated well and have the MOST comfortable beds. We loved the location being just a 5-10 minute drive to downtown area, grocery stores, public beach & parks, and other attractions. The deck at the base of the stairs affords gorgeous sunset views and the fire pit was nice for roasting marshmallows. Owner was great in communications during booking & before/after our stay. One note: please watch owner's video of the stairs leading to the beach - they are quite narrow and were tiring on upward travels loaded with beach paraphernalia - so, they would not be suitable for all visitors. (After viewing the path, we knew we were going to be toning our legs during our week-long stay & we surely did! :) Had a great summer vacation here and would definitely rent again!

Great place!

We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at this beautiful Lake Michigan retreat. The cottage was very clean and the updates wonderful. We especially enjoyed the large deck with a big eating area. The cottage is nestled in a lovely woods, just a short walk to the quiet beach. The owners, Tom and Renee, were so helpful and responded promptly to our questions. We would heartily recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a vacation on Lake Michigan. It's beautiful!

Grand views of Lake Michigan from the property. You will also enjoy the newly renovated amenities in this home. The owner' makes improvements to the property each year he has owned it.
