The property was fantastic. Beautiful views right on the beach and easy access. The house was just as described and was perfect for our family gathering of eight adults. We cannot imagine a better more relaxing vacation.

Sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing on the roof top deck are amazing. We cooked several family dinners in the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and functions nicely. The wine cooler (for chilling bottled waters, teas, sodas, etc) and extra under the counter ice maker were an added bonus.

The house was beautiful and well-equipped with plenty of room for everyone. It is ocean front on a quiet stretch of beach. Sarah, the property manager, was helpful and responsive throughout our stay. 5 stars!

Watson Beach Trip

For decades we've stayed on Fripp Island. This was a lovely introduction to Folly Island. Everyone loved it. Unfortunately, the elevator was inoperable so we used the stairs. It was good exercise but at 76 the extra elevator help would have been nice.We do hope to return at some future date. It provided a perfect was to get our scattered family together.

We had the best time staying in this lovely beach front home. One of the favorite places we have stayed. It is a great location and beautiful home. We plan to return next summer!

What an AMAZING vacation!

This property is perfectly titled Piece of Heaven. Everything from the accommodations, spacious interior, well-stocked kitchen, and walk out to the beach was perfect. This is our second year staying here and will absolutely be back!

Amazing views from an amazing house

The pictures of this house were beautiful. Once you arrive, the house is even better in person! We had an amazing time. Communication with the owner before check in was easy and thorough. Would stay here a 1000 more times!

Relaxing and wonderful stay

The house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. It perfectly fit the needs for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Everything we possibly could need was here. It made for a relaxing and wonderful stay. The "amazing rooftop deck" gave us a spectacular view of numerous cities and towns 4th of July fireworks displays that could be seen in the distance. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Getaway

This house is right on the beach and walking distance to the lighthouse. There is a beautiful view of the sunset from the rooftop. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could want. There is plenty of room for multiple families.

July 4th, 2024 Family Vacation!

We had the opportunity to rent this wonderful house for a week! Our family vacation ages 20-90. The house was beautiful and the location was quiet. The elevator was something we required for my 90 year old mother. It made her time with us so much easier! It has been very well taken care of. We plan to rent again next year.

What an amazing pace to stay!!! So much room to spread out! Comfy couch, dolphins playing in the water as you relax on the deck!! Great kitchen, roof top deck and a bar area with commercial ice maker for cocktail hour! Seven of us on a girls trip had a wonderful time! Thank you Sarah for your great communication and ease with our check in/ out process. We loved Folly and will be back!!

Would stay here again!

Beautiful home right on the beach. It is towards the end of East Ashley so you get the benefit of an almost private beach but can still easily get to the great restaurants and shops of downtown Folly. I would recommend a car/golf cart. The bedrooms are the perfect size and everyone said they slept comfortably. I couldn't ask for better communication with the manager and instructions were clear regarding house access/rules etc.

Beautiful Beachfront Home, Comfortable and Spotless

We were very pleased with our stay at this gorgeous Folly Beach house. It felt like we were staying in someone’s home, not a rental unit. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable, and the house was in excellent condition. It was a nice touch to have hand soap in every bathroom and the kitchen, bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels and more. The place was spotless when we arrived. The beach is so close, and you have 360 degree views from the rooftop. The property manager was always ready with a quick reply. One note: if an elevator is a must-have, I would look elsewhere. It was out of order during our stay and we would have benefited from having it with elderly folks. Based on other reviews, it sounds like an ongoing issue. Other than that, this house was really amazing and we look forward to future stays.

The Perfect Beach Spot

Sarah, the property manager, made everything so easy and gave us everything we needed to know to make our stay perfect. The place is everything the photos show and more. It is directly on the beach, so you just walk across a tiny beach access right on the property and you are on your own almost private beach. Our grandkids lived in the water. We ate in more than we thought we would because the kitchen had everything we needed. There's a big comfy couch that held us all, so we had many a dinner/movie night, all three generations together for a whole week was such a gift. Everything about the house is beautiful and comfortable and the view can't be beat. Plus, it's on the end of the island where there just aren't any tourists. We adored our stay and want to come back soon!!!!

Beach Paradise

As some of the other reviews have said, the pictures do not do this house justice. The house is spacious, rooms nicely decorated and spaced out, and had all of the amenities that you will need. We loved having our own little slice of heaven right in front of the house and, due to the location on the island, the beaches were never crowded and felt like we had our own private beach early mornings and in the evenings. Just be aware that you will need a car or golf cart (or bike) to get to the main part of folly beach. We never had issues finding street parking downtown, even during peak hours but YMMV. Sheryl was always very responsive when I had a quick question. We hope to book this house again.

Bad weather couldn’t ruin it!

This house was the perfect getaway for our group of three adults and five kids, 8 and under. Plenty of space and seating, beautiful and safe balconies, lovely oceanfront views and fast beach access. The beach is flat and safe for littles. High tide comes all the way up to the beach access stairs, so the sand stays wet- perfect for sandcastles! The house had absolutely everything we needed, from kitchen items to extra throw blankets for the unseasonably chilly May weather. It rained for two solid days of our stay, and if we had to be stuck inside, we were thankful that it was here! There were board games and several tvs inside, plus the covered balcony for wave watching even during the storms. We had one question for management during our stay, and the response was quick. Very professional and helpful. A huge thanks to the owner and manager of this beautiful home! Our family absolutely loved our stay.

Folly Beach Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was almost perfect.. there were a few things that would have made it so. -lack of quality beach equipment/chairs (since this was a beach property, there were limited beach lounging equipment. There were a few under the house in storage, but they were extremely dirty and hadn’t looked like they’ve been used in some time) -no refill on trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels -elevator was not working but this was due to damages from hurricane, not the host’s fault at all. She was incredibly thoughtful and called me ahead of time to alert us of the issue. They tried to get it repaired but couldn’t due to having to wait on parts. -There was a noticeable musty smell on arrival As I stated above, the host was very good… she even went to the property the afternoon of our arrival to make sure the power and water were on. The neighborhood had electrical outage and gas leak issue, she wanted to make sure the A/C was on so the house was cooled off and the gas was on so we would have hot water. She was awesome! In summary, great house, location, service and overall nice stay. Just a few little things would keep me from giving it the 5 star experience. Hope this helps. Aaron

The 360 degree views allows everyone to enjoy sunrise and sunset everyday. The elevator accesses all four floors of this large, spacious home making it easy for everyone in the family to enjoy all the stunning views Folly Beach has to offer. The home is located towards the end of the peninsula letting you enjoy an area of the beach that is not crowded but is still close enough to enjoy all the local restaurants and shops. When the tide is low, the house is walking distance to the Morris Island light house which also allows you to view all of Charleston Harbor. Whether you want to enjoy a relaxing day with the family or enjoy hanging with the locals, this house can offer it all!!

The view from the rooftop of this home is beyond spectacular. The top deck is one of the largest on Folly Beach and is accessible from the elevator that goes to all four floors of the home. The 360 degree views lets you see not only sunrise and sunset, but all of Charleston Harbor, the Ravenel Bridge, and the Morris Island Lighthouse. The house is very large and spacious making it perfect for anyone in the family!
