Buscando escapar a las montañas con su familia? Timber Hollow es la elección perfecta para familias numerosas o grupos, que viajan juntos!

Nuestra cabaña de registro personalizado se sienta en un 65 acres privada rancho de búfalo. Disfrute viendo nuestra búfalos cuando conduces en o pasar por la mañana a la hora de comer! Esta cabaña está ubicado en el bosque y tiene un montón de espacio para las familias que viajan juntas.
Así que, si usted está mirando para ir a las pistas de esquí de Cataloochee en Maggie Valley (sólo 12 millas de distancia) o visitar el Biltmore Estate en Asheville (sólo 30 minutos), hay mucho que hacer para todos en Las Grandes Montañas Humeantes!

Timber Hollow es ideal para grandes familias de vacaciones juntos porque tenemos 2 master suites, así como una segunda cocina abajo! Puede almacenar más alimentos en la nevera abajo!

Además, la seguridad de los niños serán bien entretenidos abajo, en la sala de juegos donde tenemos una mesa de billar y de ping pong. Hay una mesa de futbolín en el desván. También podrá disfrutar de una noche en la bañera de 6-8 persona caliente la parte de atrás!

Los niños podrán disfrutar de la caminata por el bosque hasta la zona de juegos, el BC Corral! Esta área de diseño personalizado tiene todo de columpios, tirolina, toboganes, balancín, redes de carga, pared de roca y incluso un pozo de herradura para los adultos! A los niños les encanta estar aquí!

Si usted está buscando un lugar tranquilo "alejarse de todo" retiro, eso es todo! Disfrute de largas caminatas en la propiedad, la pesca en el río de la paloma (a poca distancia de la cabaña de madera) o hacer un viaje a la ciudad para hacer algunas compras o antigüedades.

Wonderful family time

We absolutely loved our stay at Timber Hollow! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Easy check in and great communication. We enjoyed walking around the ranch, seeing the animals, learning about the bison, spending time outside roasting marshmallows & being able to simply enjoy family time. We hope to return again!

Beautiful!

Rented this cabin for my family for our son’s 18th birthday. Although my husband and I only got to visit for a few hours because of work obligations, this place was exactly what I wanted! The rest of my family had a wonderful weekend! Definitely plan on visiting again!

50th birthday celebration

We had a group of 8 and 2 dogs. The cabin was spacious with privacy for multiple couples. Beds were comfortable. Property was beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the animals and watching the bison feeding. Hiking around the property was a great workout. The pool table and hot tub was our favorite. Cheryl and her family were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again.

Buffalo and Goats

Our family enjoyed our stay at Timber Hollow. The little ones enjoyed the Buffalo and feeding the goats. The playground was a bit challenging to get to, but we found it.

Great Time

Pretty far drive from Asheville. It’s more convenient to travel to Waynesville, which is still a 16 to 18 minute drive. It is certainly remote. All that to say, if you are looking for remote, this is it! Nice family owned business. Cool activities for kids 13 and under.

Girlfriend annual trip

Enjoyed the proximity to Asheville and really enjoyed Waynesville. House was clean and amenities were appreciated such as spices, s’more ingredients (need to bring sticks) towels including extras for the hot tub. (need to bring bar soap). Enjoyed watching the bison feeding. Good communication, nice, large rooms. Great experience for our annual girls trip!

Amazing stay at Timber Hollow, Buffalo Creek!

The Timber Hollow cabin was perfect for family of 8. Kids loved the animals, hot tub, and having a pool table in the cabin. Easy walk to river for kids to wade and skip rocks. Very clean and furnished cabin. Was convenient to golf, hiking and white water rafting. Grilled burgers and made s’mores by the fire pit. The driveway is a challenge the first time without AWD but after the first time, it was no problem! Highly recommend!!

Just What We Needed!

Timber Hallow at Buffalo Creek Vacations was absolutely the perfect getaway for our family! From the bison viewing/feeding to the friendly llamas and hungry goats, to a beautifully cozy cabin with a pool table, foosball, and hot tub - this listing had it all! Highly recommended if you are looking for a secluded vacation spot with onsite activities.

What a great get away! There is a lot to do in and around the property. You are also located relatively close to most off-property activities. Wish we could have stayed another week.

Absolutely Awesome

Our kids and grandkids stayed on the property for 3 nights and never left except to go to the grocery store. Petted and feed animals, hiked, went exploring, spent a couple of hours at a cool playground, and went to game room a couple of time. At the cabin we shot pool, played Foosball, enjoyed the hot tub, charcoal grilled some of our food, built a campfire, and made smores. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way for our family. To top it off, it snowed for about 24 hours while we were there. Imagine enjoying a campfire and a hot tub while it's snowing. Honestly an absolute awesome stay.

Family Getaway

This weekend getaway was just what we needed as a family, all 4 generations of us! It was private and secluded, yet offered some unique experiences such as seeing bison, several farm animals, and tons of llamas. There was a custom built playground the kids loved too. We enjoyed fun with the games and the hot tub at night. Communication was great with staff and the cabin was just what we thought it would be, meaning the description and what we needed to bring was accurate. And to top it off, we even got snow while there! Highly recommend!

Family Friendly Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buffalo Creek. We had 3 kids and 6 adults and we all had a great time. My son had a blast riding the miniature horse and feeding the goats. We also all loved getting to watch the Bison feeding. Everything was organized and communicated well. We would recommend 4 wheel drive to get to the property; however, the staff went above and beyond and drove our parents' Camry up the hill. Thank you so much for a great vacation!

2 family spring break

Overall we had a great time despite a lot of nearby attractions closing due to some virus. Plenty of room for 2 families with 9 total people. Everyone loved the animals on the property. The only “issues” we had were our fwd Pilot couldn’t make it up the driveway due to loose soft gravel and there wasn’t a ping pong table that was pictured. Would definitely recommend.

Timber Hollow

Beautiful location and accommodations are great! Quaint log house is well outfitted with furnishings and kitchen utensils. Bring your own bathroom and shower supplies. Only real negative is no trash dumpster on site. You have to take your own trash to the "dump" on your way to town or live with it in the unit. Overall, a great choice. Be sure to watch the Bison feeding! Educational and entertaining. P.S. They are BIG!

property overall is fine. parking is a little tight and driveway can be challenging depending on your vehicle and time of year.

My brothers & my husband had shared a vision of expanding my fathers buffalo ranch when additional property became available to purchase. With all our knowledge & experiences combine we have built 4 log homes & have been renting them out since 2004. All the furniture in this cabin has been handmade by the wood on the property! Even the covered wagon bed, that was custom built my my father. Once my husband retires from the US Army in about 8 yrs our dream will be to build our log cabin on the property & be more hands on. God has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams. We hope you love the mountains like we have all come to love being transplants from a very flat NY!

While staying at Timber Hollow we feel you will really enjoy the peace & tranquility of being secluded on 65 acres. So many of our previous guest have wrote back & told us they had all these plans to sight see but then just loved hanging out in the cabin together enjoying the big game room & the children all love the uniquely designed playground as well as seeing the miniature horse, buffalo, goats & llamas.
