The house is perfect for a large group), great location and beautiful view. One little suggestion would be to re - arrange the furniture & TV, so the group could enjoy a movie together. We loved staying in this house for Thanksgiving, thank you!

Location was wonderful. House was a bit musty when we arrived. There was some areas missed in cleaning, used k cup on the counter, mold on the downstairs shower curtain, and leftover food on counter and fridge, burnt out light bulb in bathroom.

Such a nice home! We enjoyed the spacious, well decorated and stocked house. Plenty of room to spread out with nice indoor and outdoor areas to relax in. Would definitely rent again!

Friends yearly lake trip

The house is quite lovely. It worked great for our group of 8 friends, 3 sets of couples and two widowed ladies. The house has all of the amenities needed to cook and enjoy the property. The home is spacious and the layout allows each couple privacy. Each bedroom really has its own bathroom. The downstairs bath near the laundry is the only one not updates. Every other area of the home has had updates and they are all done nicely. We enjoyed the spacious living room and outdoor spaces as well. My only recommendation would be a larger dining area. The table was only for 6 so we moved a couple of other chairs to it to make it work, but it wasn’t ideal for meals or games. Other than that everything was perfect for our group. We had an issue with cooling the place which we were notified in advance of an issue. It is a large home and thankfully has fans in the bedrooms. The lake and river were enjoyed by us by boat. Home is directly across from Butlers so it was a great location for the Venician Festival, boat parade viewing and fireworks! Added bonus for us.

Absolutely perfect vacation!

We had a big family group (9) and the house was perfect for us. Super well appointed. We’ve stayed in some places where there wasn’t enough things like kitchenware, towels etc. Not Mike’s place- it had everything we needed and then some. It even had great artwork on the walls. Bravo, worth every penny.

The rental is located very close to Douglas and Saugatuck and an easy drive to Holland. The waterfront views are so peaceful. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking utensils, pots, and complete with spices. Unfortunately, the AC began to fail on our third night. Michael is extremely approachable and does his very best to remedy the situation. I would recommend this rental to friends/family in the future.

This property is amazing. It’s filled with lovely furnishings and beautiful art work throughout. The hot tub, double deck, and view of Lake Kalamazoo and Saugatuck make for great evenings. The house is stocked with everything you could need. Our family enjoyed tying up our boat, and taking the channel out to Lake Michigan. The owners answered all inquiries within 15 min.We encountered no problems. We walked to Mt Baldy, Rootbeer barrel, the chain ferry, ( which takes you into Saugatuck. ) and Woosah coffee. Saugatuck/ Douglas is a perfect summer town with great restaurants, shops, dunes and beaches.

Fantastic spot

The house was amazing - great location, lots of space for our group, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and host was great at communicating with us. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!

This spot was perfect for our family getaway. The property was well-maintained, and the host was extremely helpful. I had no trouble bringing my 30-foot boat, and my nephew was able to bring his jet ski as well. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby, along with lots of delicious ice cream options. We especially loved the easy boat access to Lake Michigan.

I had my bachelorette party here and it was absolutely perfect. Plenty of room, plenty of amenities, perfect location, etc. The view of the lake is so good and it’s close to everything! We already talked about wanting to come back next year.

Summer Kick-Off

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s hard to say what our favorite part was but likely the views and sitting out on the balcony. The layout of the house was perfect for our group, and we enjoyed being close to the chain ferry, Mount Baldhead, Oval Beach and hiking trails. We hated to leave. Also, the host was great to work with throughout.

Perfect location. Great Home.

The home was clean, updated, and just a great waterfront home offering everything you need. Nestled in a wooded area, it's off the road, private and quiet. With great views of downtown across the lake, this east view offers wonderfull sunrises. In addition, it has a dock for a rented or your own boat, plenty of outside seating, gas grill and a two tier great deck. You will love being here. Thanks Mike.
