Histórica casa de campo de 4 dormitorios en una pequeña comunidad conocida como Blodgett Landing en el lago Sunapee. ¡Ofrecemos una vista maravillosa del lago desde nuestro espacioso porche delantero con asientos donde se puede ver el Monte Sunapee y algunas de las puestas de sol más hermosas!
Un lugar perfecto en la cala para disfrutar de kayak, piragüismo y pesca.
También tenemos un césped delantero de buen tamaño ideal para kick-ball, croquet, badminton, etc.
Arriba hay 3 dormitorios; 2 con camas de tamaño completo y 1 con cama de matrimonio y baño completo.
La planta principal tiene un dormitorio con una cama de tamaño completo, sala de estar con 2 sofás y un sillón completo con Direct TV y reproductor de DVD. Ofrecemos una cocina totalmente equipada con encimeras de granito, lavavajillas, barra de desayuno y una mesa alta y una sala de estar con un futón.
También en el piso principal hay un baño auxiliar y un cuarto de servicio con lavadora y un segundo refrigerador.
Hay una parrilla de gas afuera en el patio.
Área de estacionamiento para 3 autos.
No poseemos ni tenemos acceso al lago frente a nuestra propiedad
Un muelle público es un paseo muy corto donde la zona arenosa es un gran lugar para nadar. Hay escalones que conducen a la zona de baño; Perfecto para niños pequeños.
También encontrará una playa pública aún más cerca donde el agua es poco profunda y arenosa; Una bonita zona tranquila para sentarse y relajarse junto al agua. Un lanzamiento público del barco está disponible muy cerca.
El lago Sunapee es uno de los lagos más bellos de Nueva Hampshire y está limpio.
La ciudad de New London está a 4 millas en automóvil, donde encontrará una gran tienda de abarrotes, farmacia, hospital y muchas pequeñas tiendas y restaurantes.
Mount Sunapee está a poca distancia en auto, donde hay excelentes senderos para caminatas y un parque de aventuras con tirolesas, mini golf, golf de disco, un muro de escalada y un campo de Desafío aéreo.

All American lake house with a bit of history

Located on the beautiful clean lake Sunapee, this historic cottage is marvelous. It literally has everything. Sockets for your gadgets everywhere. Fans or heaters, depending on the season. Beautiful views. Cool clean lake. Forest fresh air. And just the right feeling of tranquility that lake houses bring. Wonderful, clean and super cute.

Best Trip Ever!

My kids, 8, 7 and 6 said this was their favorite trip ever!! The hosts and house could not have been more perfect. It exceeded our expectations!!! The proximity to the ski mountain is perfect for kids and adults and the view from the porch / living room was amazing! I Instacarted groceries to the cabin which made for perfect cozy night post-skiing! The seemingly endless amounts of cozy blankets and unlimited games / various ways to stream TV meant lots of good family time and cozy pre-bedtime movie games / sofa snuggles! We will definitely be back. 5 stars could never be enough!!

Great cottage!! See notes on second-floor bedrooms below. The cottage owners pay exceptionally great attention to detail including decorating and operational detail: clean, organized and neat. Kitchen and living room areas are very nice for entertaining. Great washer and dryer room. Very nice pantry. Very nice center island for eating. Very nice seating area. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen size bed - full height walls. It is a bit small/tight. The second floor has three bedrooms and a hall bathroom with a tub/shower. LIGHT AND SOUND BETWEEN SECOND FLOOR BEDROOMS. There is a big opening between the top of the bedroom walls and the vaulted ceiling (approx 4ft - 6ft open area - open from the top of the bedroom walls to top of roof/ceiling line). Electric lights from any one of the bedrooms travels and partially lights up the ceiling in the other two bedrooms after dark. Occupants are easily able to hear slight sounds and see light from each of the other 2nd floor bedrooms. SHEETS were expected to be supplied by us/the renters and not expected to be supplied by the owner/landlord. Landlord went out of their way to be helpful. GREAT COTTAGE Except for lack of demising wall between the second floor bedrooms, and resulting sound and light traveling between the second floor bedrooms, we loved the cottage. OWNERS VERY RESPONSIVE Kate, with whom we communicated could not have been nicer. Kate was extremely responsive. Wonderful cottage. Thank you. Kate

Perfect location; Attention to detail

Direct access to the lake. The water is really clean. The view is awesome. The house is very well equipped for make a stay comfortable (appliances, gadgets, charging stations, etc..). The kitchen is very well stacked.

Classic Lake House

This is a classic lake house on a beautiful and clean NH lake. Blodgett Landing is a collection of vintage vacation homes with a friendly community vibe. We found this home to be exactly as we hoped it would be based on the description. It is well equipted and everything works. The owner quickly responds to any questions or concerns and is a joy to work with. We would not hesitate to rent this property again.

Wedding Celebration

We were up in Sunapee for our daughters wedding and needed homes for family overflow. This was like home away from home! Equipped perfectly and the most gracious host! Responded quickly to all requests and concerns. It couldn’t have worked out better! Lots of space and comfort amd the view! Lovely!!!! Ty!

Last minute

While we wish the bedrooms had ceilings (they have walls but are open at the top) the house was exactly what a lake cottage should be. The fact that we could bring our dogs made it a perfect get away.

Beautiful and peaceful place

Our family recently enjoyed a long overdue relaxing vacation at this Blodgett Landing home. The home was clean and so quaint. Truly a quintessential lake home. It’s “old time” charm and beautifully trimmed gingerbread trim is complemented by its well maintained and updated kitchen. Our family was looking to escape the four walls that we have been staring at for months. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Sunapee, breathe the fresh air deep into our lungs, swim in the crystal clear waters of the lake, and walk around the quaint location. The home is close to stores and other activities in the area. The property owners were very responsive from the initial booking and other follow-up questions. We hope to be able to escape to here next year!

Great house and location

We really enjoyed our time in Blodgetts. The house was perfect for us and the owners were very responsive and accommodating in working out rental dates. We had never stayed in the Blodgett community before and it is a perfect spot with great access to the town dock and beach and the neighbors were all very friendly. We are looking forward to renting here again in the future.

4th of July Vacation

Stayed here just over a week. Great place to stay. Quiet place. Easy access to town. We had a great time on the lake swimming and kayaking. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick stay sleepover

Used the house as a Sleep station. My family has a cottage at 30 Lake Ave where we spent our days. Cottage rooms were smaller than they looked in pictures so cottage really worked for sleeping only. Question: How do I get my deposit returned?

End of Summer

Wonderful end of summer wk vacation at this house. House is lovely and perfectly situated to sit on the porch and view the lake. Blodgett landing community has a place for you to leave your kayaks by the water, and swim from the beach or community dock. If you have a larger boat there is a slip to put in close to the house. The houses are much closer than we anticipated but everyone was super friendly and low key. No dryer but there is a clothes line. Closest grocery store is Hannafords in New London. House is historical with an interesting photo album of the area from back in the day. There was no info in the house on where to put boats in, we asked neighbors. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook for a family. Internet access was key to our working vacation, all worked seamlessly. We will rent again when in the area!- DL from PA

Great authentic restored cottage on beautiful Lake Sunapee in great location.

Spent the last week of the summer before Labor Day at this comfortable and well appointed cottage in Blodgett's Landing. Nice layout that easily accommodated five adult siblings. We loved the setting, lake views, swimming, walking around the neighborhood and sitting on the porch or in the kitchen area reading. Proximity to New London for grocery shopping and restaurants is great as well as to the Harbor and Newbury. Very well equipped kitchen with all of the utensils and dinnerware you could want or need. We had many nice family meals at the cottage and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Wifi and Dish Network were a big plus for using mobile devices and watching the US Open tennis tournament. I would highly recommend the cottage if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet get away in a beautiful NH lake setting.

Relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was in a beautiful setting and was well equipped. Kate was very helpful. We love the Sunapee area and know it well. This property is well situated for enjoying the area. We would definitely come and stay here again.

The view from the front porch looking out on the lake is spectacular. We get beautiful sunsets from the front yard.

This cottage was one of the originals on Blodgett Landing and was Mr. Blodgett's main cottage. It was known as "the red, white and blue" cottage. We've maintained the fine gingerbread details on the cottage and the color scheme.
