Thanks for the great review! Puerto Aventuras really is the best place to stay in the Riviera Maya. You can't beat the centralized location, close to everything you go down there for, beaches, diving, snorkeling, fishing, golf, etc. We're glad you appreciated your stay in our condo. Thank you for your comments. Since we go to the condo once or twice a year it is really important for us to have feedbacks from our guests. We will do our best to For the kitchen appliances, we change them when someone let us know that they are not working good. We already changed a few of them (microwave, cooking fan, toaster etc). Let us know which appliances are not working well and we will do what needs to be done (replace or repare). For the Glasses, I will tell our manager to buy some. They must have been broken, because we had more than 2 of them. The beach towels were fine when we went last summer, but I will certainly mention the moldy smell to our manager and tell him to dry well them before putting them back in the closet. The fan on the balcony is not that old, but with the ocean wind the metal get rusted really fast. It was never mention by any other renters and we never used it so we didi not know about that. I will mention it to our manager. Thank's again and be sure that we will take care of the little problems.

Dear Jenny, Thank you for your email and sorry that the stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding your comments, it is true that guards in the street only speak Spanish since they are Mexicans. They are there at night for everyone’ safety and to make sure strangers do not go around without a valid reason. They only need that you tell you name and your place of staying (Quinta Del Sol) so they can write it on their pad. It is the first time someone raises this issue in 5 years but we will make sure to inform future renters when we send them the detailed instructions. My manager Oscar or I could have informed you when you were there if we knew about it. For the TV/satellite we did our best to fix the problem quickly. We called the technician and he came as soon as he could (in Mexico delays are to be expected for these kind of things…). Same thing for the dishwasher: I don’t think we are to blame because a piece took a few days to arrive because it had to be ordered… Regarding the bugs, the common areas of the building are fumigated every month and our unit is sprayed when the maid does the cleaning. But of course, it not impossible to see a bug sometime. Finally, I agree that Sargasso is a sad problem for which we have no control. It not only affects our property but the whole Riviera Maya and, depending on the current, also other Caribbean countries like Cuba and the Dominican Republic just to name these (see for instance https://islandinnovation.co/caribbean-seaweed-problem-costing-millions/). It comes and goes and there is no way to predict when we are going to be affected and we are free of it (there was none during my last trip in January). Nevertheless, we are working on this issue on a daily basis: our complex has an employee who works on the beach every day and the complex also added recently more sand to the beach.
