Tranquil oasis in the middle of heaven.

Property was fabulous and just as pictured. Access to town and to nature unmatched. Very comfortable with ocean breezes blowing through the house. Highly responsive staff and kind people all around.

Perfect spot for relaxation and adventure

This house is perfect for a large family or two families. We had 8 and everyone had their space, but also a great place to gather in the family room/kitchen. The views from the decks were amazing! I saw a sea lion swim by each morning and the rocks in front were so fun bc the marine iguanas go out to feed on them when the tide changes (we were out when about 50 scurried onto the rocks!). The beach was gorgeous and we all had fun swimming and boogie boarding (you can rent them close by) in the waves. The beach is all sand minus the patch of rocks with marine iguanas. We could easily walk to the main square either on the road or beach and just down the street there is a boardwalk/path that takes you past some lagoons where we saw flamingos. The house was pretty perfect. The only two complaints we had (which were very minor!) were that the glass doors that swing open to get to the beach lock behind you (and you really needed to keep them closed this time of year because of mosquitoes) so if our entire group went to the beach, we had to take a key or keep the front door unlocked as you had to walk around the house to the front to get back in. The other thing that was a little off-putting was that kitchen cleaning was not included in daily cleaning (it was $20 more). However, the rest of the house was thoroughly cleaned each day which was nice considering all the sand we brought in! Our flight was late the first day and someone from the house sent taxis to pick us up!

SIMPLY AMAZING

From the moment you arrive on a ferry from the "hustle and bustle" of Santa Cruz it hits you. This Island is different. And different is exactly what I wanted. Then you arrive at Casa Baronesa and it hits you again, you are in paradise. The house is simply amazing. The decor is very thought out (and brilliant), the choices that have been made are all top notch (the floor and stair tiles!). Then you head outside and see the beach. Oh, that beach. With so many things to see and do in the Galapagos to just be able to play in the amazing waves (with the sea lions) and hang on the beautiful sandy beach was just surreal. After the nightly amazing sunset, you get to retreat to the house and feel right at home. The big table with many chairs was perfect for our nightly game of bananagrams. Then it is time to go to bed. Each room with great ac, comfy beds and great bathrooms. Especially the master suite. OMG. If you are ambitious enough to plan a trip to this sleepy (big) little island I suggest you book at Casa Baronesa, We certainly will be coming back. Thank You for sharing this treasure.

Beautiful house, great location

The Baronesa is a beautiful house and was perfect for our family. The house is on the beach and centrally located to town, restaurants, mini-markets, bakeries, and equipment/bike rental places. We loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean waves… so peaceful!

WOW - This is a great location

We loved this property. We were a group of 2 couples and three singles and this property was perfect for that. We did have to allocate costs so that it was fair because the rooms are very different from ocean view suite with private balcony to smaller twin room with no ocean view. We met Paola early on our check in day and were able to go ahead and check in early. Paola showed us around the home and we exchanged WhatsApp contact info. The property is gorgeous. The location was perfect. The pictures are very accurate and the access to the beach a dream vacation. We walked out to the beach every day and walked on the sand to see all the iguanas just in front of the home. We walked to everything, the town is not very big. The sand was soft and you could walk for a long ways on the beach just enjoying the wildlife. The bed was soft and comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped. This is probably my favorite house rental ever. Paola was so helpful and we reached out to her for anything we needed not even related to the house. She helped with general island questions and helped arrange taxis when needed. WiFi is slow, it is slow on all the islands and in every hotel, VRBO and restaurant. I recommend having some cellular data to use. I would love to come back and spend a whole week or two in this home.

Fabulous

Beautiful property right on the beach and close to town. We absolutely loved our time on Isabela. Spent lots of time on the beach with the iguanas. Kids surfed and body surfed right in front of the house. Met lots of locals and the kids were all invited and included in on the nightly futbol matches. The house was wonderful. Perfect vacation to be off the grid somewhat.

La casa es hermosa y el sitio y atención de Alex excelente. Muy mal : 1) la respuesta de aceptación de la solicitud para alquilar, dure más de una semana con varios intentos, tuve que comunicarme directamente con Homeaway para lograrlo. 2) me cobraron dos veces el seguro de 99 dólares. Escribí mail a Homeaway y aún no he tenido respuesta 3) la limpieza no incluía la cocina . Absurdo que una parte de la casa no esté incluida .

My family and I stayed at Casa Baronesa for 8 days and it not only meet expectation but exceeded them. The Casa Baronesa is s gorgeous house that opens on to the beach.When you sit in the great room with the doors open you feel as though you are in heaven. The cool breezes and waves breaking is enchanting. We loved every minute of our stay and would say your vacation to the Galapagos Island would not be complete without a stay at Casa Baronesa
