Solución ideal para unas vacaciones relajantes y económicas que le permitirán disfrutar simultáneamente del mar, el campo y el inmenso patrimonio artístico y naturalista disponible en un radio de 150 km como Ragusa y Noto, patrimonio de la UNESCO, Taormina, Etna, Siracusa , Piazza Armerina, Agrigento, Malta etc., .

Great little place good location. Close to all amenities and lots to see and do locally. Everything you need at the villa.We had the pool all to our selves which was fantastic.Host was great and very welcoming. A lovely local traditional meal was provided for us when we arrived and Elio shared many places for us to visit and shop.Would recommend this very highly for a family get away - we were here for 2 weeks and in all honesty we could have done much longer … as we have only just scratched the surface of this wonderful part of the world.

Havre de paix

Nous avons séjourné dans la location d’Elio et Giovanna pendant 14 jours et cela a été un pur plaisir du début à la fin du séjour.Nous avons rencontré des difficultés à l’aéroport et Elio nous a accueilli avec une heure de retard en nous mettant à disposition du pain, fromage, boissons, foccacia qui nous ont permis de nous restaurer à notre arrivée et de découvrir les mets du pays.La villa est incroyable, c’est un véritable havre de paix qui nous a permis de nous ressourcer et de nous reposer malgré une température extérieure élevée. Elle est très bien située pour visiter les villes et les sites touristiques.Encore un grand merci à Elio et Giovanna pour leur accueil très chaleureux, les petites attentions, leur bonne humeur et leurs disponibilités.Si vous souhaitez vous reposer et découvrir une partie de la Sicile, n’hésitez pas à réserver !

A warm welcome to a lovely villa

Elio welcomed us with a magnificent spread of local delicacies and a bottle of wine. The villa itself is comfortable, well laid out and well decorated. Lovely pool and many different areas of the garden to enjoy. Of special note is the BBQ area, tucked away down steps to a lower part of the garden. A great place to while away the evening.

Bella casa di campagna, ideale per chi vuole rigenerarsi. Ottime le dotazioni dell'immobile, vicinissima a Ragusa e la Marina è raggiungibile in pochi minuti. Consigliatissima. Il proprietario è discreto e disponibile, nel dare indicazioni e rendere gradevole il soggiorno.

Maison très bien équipée

Elio a été un hôte très appréciable et disponible tout au long du séjour. Un grand merci à lui. La maison est très bien équipée, ultra propre et vous ne manquerez de rien. Voiture indispensable sur place car la maison est en pleine campagne. Dommage par contre qu’elle soit collée à une autre maison, on perd un peu en intimité même si les voisins ne nous ont pas dérangé. 2 maisons appartenant à la villa etaient en finalisation et nuisent à mon sens à la vue et à la sensation d’espace et d’évasion. Maison idéale pour une famille.

Fantastisches Ferienhaus mt Pool und viel Ruhe

Elio ist ein wundervoller Gastgeber, das Haus ist ein Traum mit viel Platz und Ruhe drumherum, vielen gemütlichen Außenbereichen, einer tollen Küche und einer schönen Einrichtung. Allein für den Teller mit lokalen Spezialitäten bei der Anreise lonht sich ein Aufenthalt, ein Perfekter einstieg in einen entspannten Urlaub. Mobil vor Ort sein empfiehlt sich, es gibt großartige Strände, Barockstädte und Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis von 30 Autominuten. Grazie Mille!

Fantastic villa

We were very lucky to find Elio’s amazing house! The location was ideal in Southern Italy and the house and garden perfect for our family. The photos don’t do the villa justice! Our children loved the pool. There is also a panoramic roof terrace and outdoor seating. There are supermarkets nearby and the villa is perfectly located to discover the incredible cities and beautiful beaches of Southern Sicily! We enjoyed our visit to the ancient city of Ragusa Ibla - a UNESCO site. The white pole beaches and forest beaches are nearby and have miles of sand and clear waters. Marina di Ragusa is more lively with lovely restaurants on the seafront. We would highly recommend staying in this villa and hope to come back soon!

Beautiful and Peaceful Property

A great place to relax! the house is cozy and charming and very clean! the garden is lush, i ate fresh figs from the tree every morning! Beautiful pool and patio and Giovanna and Elio are lovely and very accommodating. A delicious cheese plate and bottle of wine were waiting for me upon arrival. Real Sicilian hospitality - i highly recommend it! Enjoy your stay...

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren ende August Anfang September mit unserer Familie, bestehend aus zwei kleinen Kindern und zwei Erwachsenen, zwei Wochen bei Elio zu Gast. Die Kommunikation lief problemlos. Als wir anreisten wurden wir sehr herzlich von Elio empfangen. Er hat uns sogar Spezialitäten des Landes bereitgestellt, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Das Haus wurde uns in einem sauberen Zustand übergeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es sieht alles genau wie auf den Fotos aus. Der Garten und der Pool sind wunderschön. Das Haus ist Stilvoll im Landhausstil eingerichtet. Es liegt jedoch etwas außerhalb, rundherum ist weit und breit Land zu sehen. Es ist sehr ruhig und läd zum Entspannen ein. Was uns nach kurzer Zeit leider aufgestoßen ist, waren die vielen Ameisen in der Küche und Wohnzimmer. Es musste nur ein kaum sichtbarer Krümel liegen bleiben und plötzlich kamen hunderte von Ameisen, die sich auch durch die von uns gekauften Fallen nicht abschrecken liessen. Als es ein paar Tage geregnet hatte, wurde das Haus von einer Art Tausendfüßler überrannt. Die Viehcher waren praktisch überall und das hat uns leider den Wohlfühlfaktor genommen. Wir waren dann kaum noch in der Villa und wollten uns einfach nur noch draußen aufhalten. Wir wissen auch das Elio nichts dafür kann und es auch nicht mit der Hygiene zutun hat. Diese Tiere sind einfach eine Plage, der man auf dem Land schnell mal ausgesetzt wird, ohne etwas dagegen unternehmen zu können. Ich denke das ich dies hier trotzdem erwähnen sollte, da es für uns persönlich sehr viel zu unserem wohlbefinden beigetragen hat. Wenn man nicht so empfindlich für Krabbeltiere ist, kann man darüber bestimmt hinweg sehen. Elio war stets abrufbar und konnte auch jederzeit kommen um den Pool zu reinigen. Er konnte uns auch Restaurants und Ausflugziele in der Gegend empfehlen. Wir danken Elio und Giovanna für ihre Gastfreundschaft und würden sie auch weiterempfehlen

Très jolie maison au milieu de la campagne sicilienne et à quelques minutes de Ragusa. La maison est propre, confortable et le jardin est très agréable avec ses différents coins repas, détente et piscine. Grosser Pool in ländlicher Umgebung

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Stilvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Erinnert ein bisschen an Karls Erdbeerhof....nur ohne Erdbeeren, sondern mit frischen Feigen vom Baum. Pool lädt zum Baden ein. Kätzchen zum Spielen. Es gibt sehr viele verschiedene Sitzecken. Haus und Garten sieht wie auf den Fotos aus. Elio war ein toller Gastgeber und hat uns gleich am Anfang einen Geschmack auf Sizilien gegeben. Frische Produkte aus der Region standen bereit. Lecker. DANKE!

Schönes Urlaubsdomizil zum Entspannen

Wir waren Ende September/Anfang Oktober 2018 bei Elio. Alles war toll vorbereitet - samt italienischen Spezialitäten. Das Haus ist wirklich schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist toll, auch für Kinder. Letztlich ist alles wirklich so, wie auf den Bildern. Also absolute Empfehlung, wenn man etwas abseits (auf ca. 300 Meter Höhe) einen schönen Urlaub verbringen möchte.

A fantastic villa with pool in the countryside

We had a wonderful week in the villa, we are a family at 5, parents and "children" at the age of 14, 17 and 21 years. It is a very tasteful decorated and charming villa with a lot of nice and beautiful details - both inside and outdoor. The house and the garden are very well kept and clean. There are several places to relax outside, terraces and lawns, always a possibility to find a quiet corner or shadow. There are enough of chairs, tables and sunbeds, it is a beautiful garden. The pool is fantastic, clean and big enough for a little swim. The villa is in the countryside, with a nice view and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. The house is very well equipped, there is everything you need for cooking in the kitchen and for a normal household - very nice! There is a shopping area in the near, it is easily reached by car. In the other end of the garden there is a little house/studio, where my sister and her family lived, it gave us the possibility to be together, and there was enough space for all of us. Finally, Elio was a very good host, the communication with him was very easy and quick, he was kind, helpful and very generous, we had a welcoming with local specialties, and he gave us information about the area. Great Outdoor Spaces, Balcony and Pool

Had a great fortnight at this lovely villa. A traditional Sicilian kitchen (with mod cons), woodburning stove in the sitting room, nice shower room and bedrooms. Everything was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. There's air conditioning too, which we weren't expecting. We really enjoyed the pool and loungers, the balcony with its' great views over the countryside, and the covered eating area to the side of the kitchen. The location is rural, but close to several beautiful Baroque towns with great restaurants, near beautiful beaches, and ancient historic sites a day trip away. For Montelbano fans, the perfect location! Ellio and Giovanna were kindness itself, introducing us to some traditional Sicilian food and wine as a welcome, and giving us advice about sightseeing and shopping (great supermarket nearby made self-catering easy). I definitely recommend this villa and hope to visit again. Marie, Scotland

"The villa is the perfect...

"The villa is the perfect place for a restful stay around the pool and for visits to the historic towns and cities of south-east Sicily. The kitchen is large and well equipped, the garden is beautifully kept and ideal for open-air dining, the house is clean and comfortable. "We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Gelso. The owner gave us a very warm welcome with Sicilian food. The owner is friendly and very punctual on our appointments. Villa in quietness (!), a perfect retreat and an excellent spot for daytrips in the beautiful area. Very nice (!) garden with pool (unfortunately closed during our stay in May). The home has a complete household and is well decorated (romantic style). The only thing missing was nice/soft couch to sit on while using chimney during the colder Sicilian evenings/nights in May."

"Nous sommes allés deux étés successifs dans cette maison absolument délicieuse. L'environnement naturel est très beau et l'on jouit même d'une vue sur la mer au loin depuis la terrasse. La maison est très joliment renovée avec des matériaux anciens, tout est très propre et de bon goût. La piscine est très agréable. Nos deux séjours furent un enchantement. Elio et Giovanna, les propriétaires, sont pleins d'attention et extrêmement accueillants. Un petit coin de paradis."

"Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza indimenticabile in questa splendida casa arredata con stile nel rispetto delle tradizioni. Con i nostri due ragazzi ci siamo goduti particolarmente i fichi maturi e dolcissimi del giardino a colazione! La zona è meravigliosa, vicina al mare e alle molteplici città barocche. "Villa très agréable, confortable et joliment décorée. Propreté impeccable. Bien placée pour visiter les villes baroques voisines. Nous avons apprécié la délicate attention du propriétaire lors de notre arrivée, sa disponibilité et sa discrétion.C'est une oasis de verdure au milieu de la campagne brulée par le soleil de juillet. Nous avons aimé le côté authentique du lieu. Et nos 5 garçcons ont apprécié la piscine en rentrant d'excursions."
