Sol y Luna se encuentra en el hermoso 'Sueno Real', una unidad cerrada de 10 condominios, al final del Paseo Punta Santa Cruz, con vistas a la bahía principal 'Santa Cruz', el muelle de cruceros y dos de las playas favoritas de la región.

Sol y Luna cuenta con una gran sala de estar con techos altos, pisos de mármol, encimeras de granito, decoración elegante y una de las vistas más hermosas de Huatulco. Uno de los pocos lugares en Huatulco donde puedes ver el amanecer y la puesta de sol desde tu balcón y terraza. Disfrute de su café matutino (cultivado localmente) mientras observa a Santa Cruz despertarse. Si tiene suerte, un crucero atracará frente a usted. La tarde te trae espectaculares puestas de sol sobre las montañas. En el medio, puede explorar las hermosas playas o, si lo prefiere, descansar en la hermosa piscina infinita.

Si decide abandonar los confines de Sueno Real, los taxis son abundantes y económicos (menos de $ 2.00 a la ciudad) o una caminata de 15 minutos a Santa Cruz o las Crucesitas.

Dan and Sonia truly went above and beyond. The property is absolutely beautiful, and everything about our stay was amazing from start to finish. The home was comfortable, well cared for, and exactly as described, if not better. Beyond being wonderful hosts, we truly feel like we gained new friends in Dan and Sonia. We highly recommend this property and feel it deserves more than five stars. We will definitely be returning.

Just returned from Huatulco and our stay at Sueno Real and specifically our unit Sol y Luna. Dan & Sonya our hosts were amazing and everything was as described and as it should be. We can not recommend this location more. Spectacular views great pool, great A/C in the bedroom and short 3-5 minute cab any where we wanted to go. You can walk to shopping and groceries it’s about 15 minutes but for 20-50 pesos no point. Security has a radio direct to the cab company and they are to the door in 2 minutes. We will be back … see you soon … Cheers.

Thanks Dan for sharing your wonderful property. Dan or Priscilla was always there to help or answer questions. Security was super, always available and gate was always locked. Anything you will need is in the condo. Taxis are super cheap to go anywhere, and someone will call the taxi up for you. The views were amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone

Great location

We stayed for one week and found the property to be perfect for the 2 of us. Very quiet, pool was great and staff were friendly. Views and location was great very easy to get around.

First time in Hualtulco

Nothing but good things to say about this beautiful place. The property is amazing, the condo is clean, comfortable, and the views of Santa Cruz are stunning. Dan and his team or so welcoming and always there when we needed them. The condo is in a great location and you can walk anywhere. We will definitely be coming back.

What a view.

Excellent view! A bit noisy in the evening. Due to the structure of the complex voices carry. If groups are gathered on their decks you can hear their conversations quite Loud and clearly.

Beautiful peaceful oasis with unparalleled view.

Stylishly decorated penthouse condo with an incredible view of the Santa Cruz Huatulco harbor from decks on two levels. The host, the property manager and the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, responsive and helpful for my first-time trip to this area. The property is private, with on-site parking and security. It's just far enough off the busy streets of La Crucecita to be peaceful while minutes from anywhere you want to visit or if you need something quick from the grocery store. I will definitely be visiting again.

Amazing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dan's place. He was super helpful prior to our arrival with recommendations in the area. The condo is stunning. The view is exceptional. You are just a short cab ride away from awesome restaurants, beaches and groceries. The place was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need to make a nice meal at home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an unforgettable relaxing vacation!

Terrific

Dan was an excellent host and the property was in a very convenient, safe location. Perhaps the best view in Huatulco. The property crew was gracious and helpful. Loved that the property was gated, didn't have to worry about parking our car on the street. The condo was clean, well provisioned and nicely decorated. When we asked Dan for more comfortable furniture, he happily provided 2 chairs that were comfortable to sit in. The AC in the bedroom was quiet and made for a good night sleep. During the days, there is a wonderful breeze that keeps the condo cooler. The pool was lovely. From time to time it felt crowded because 1/2 of the pool is only 18" deep so everyone would be in the deep section. But we were able to work around busy times if we wanted less social engagement. The other residents were friendly and fun to talk to. We very much enjoyed our stay for work and pleasure.

Perfect Vacation!

We want to come back! The condo was even better than we excepted! We met a lot of wonderful people that were also staying at sueño real. The views are amazing! We spent a lot of time in the beautiful pool talking with other guests and watching the boats and people down at Santa Cruz bay. All of the people working at the condo are nice and helpful, and they keep the place very clean. The location is great, with an easy walk down the hill into town or to Playa Santa Cruz. Taxis are easy to find and cheap, so you can get back to the condo if you don’t feel like walking. If you go to the end of the road, there is a trail down to a small beach with a well stocked bar. We rented a scooter for a day and it was so much fun to whizz around town and all the way up to Maguey bay, the light house, a bunch of other beaches, and down to La Bocana. La Crucecita is a lot of fun, and we walked down there almost every day/night to eat at all sorts of restaurants. We also did a tour up to Cascadas Mágicas, waterfalls that are definitely worth seeing! It is about a 1.5 hour drive up. We were with a mom and her grown son from Mexico City, and our driver. We became friends immediately, even though they spoke Spanish and very little English. I used my Spanish pretty much the whole vacation. It helps a lot to know even a little bit of Spanish, but you can get around if you don’t know any. They appreciated that I spoke Spanish well. La Entrega has great snorkeling! Perfect vacation!

Perfect

The condo was even better in person. Beautifully decorated and ever so comfortable. The property manager went out of her way to be helpful, answering our questions, arranging for taxis and restaurant reservations. The terrace looked out on the marina and cruise ship dock so there was always interesting activity including the towns New Years Eve fireworks show to watch without lleaving the condo. Loved our stay and so hope to return soon.

Ideal for Rest and Relaxation

We found everything at the condo to be just as it was described. We were quite comfortable there. The office attendant Priscilla went above and beyond to help us with everything we asked……even getting dental appointments needed due to an unexpected issue. The location and view are awesome!!

Delightful Marina View Codo

Beautifully built condo high on a hill overlooking the Marina. Well appointed, great communication with owner and staff. Taxi never more than 5 minutes away for 35 pesos. Exceptionally clean and grounds well maintained!

Overall we had a very nice stay. Everyone that was involved was very pleasant. Dan was very helpful in giving us information about our stay ahead of time. All the staff on site was very helpful. We had a very unique surprise on my birthday when i woke up to an earthquake :).

First time in Huatulco

The other reviews are spot on and the listing is accurate, everything was as expected and this is a very nice condo in a very good location. Dan was exception in answering our questions and was quick to ask how things were going or to give advice on where to go or eat. We did a day pass to Secrets just to see what the all-inclusives in that area had to offer and it just confirmed that we are condo and local restaurant kind of people and Sueno Real was a great choice for that.

Giving Huatulco a Test Drive

We only booked a week at Sol y Luna because we had never been to Huatulco, and wanted to ‘try it out’. The suite was spacious, very comfortable, and had a great, panoramic view. Priscilla, the on-site manager, always greeted us with a smile. Security and support staff were the same, and made calling a cab a breeze. I LOVED the pool. The beach at nearby Santa Cruz with mild surf allowed me to go into the ocean for the first time in long, long time. (Note: lots of beaches with surf if that is your preference.) We had mixed experiences with dining out, but if we were there longer we would have figured out which places suited our palate best. We have been so very lucky over the years as our VRBO hosts or property managers have consistently been very good. That said, Dan Thompson is hand’s down the BEST. He was patient and quickly responded to my rookie guest queries. Oh, and when we went for dinner at a place Dan recommended, and we told them that we were ‘Dan’s friends’ - my goodness, you would think we hobnobbed with royalty. Service and food was great that night, that’s for sure. ☺️ The driver that Dan recommended was excellent; knowledgeable and friendly with good English, and gave us a great tour of the area. I regret to say that there IS a negative, and it is a big one that I don’t know how we can get past. Sol y Luna is already booked in the time slot for when we wanted to come back!
