Bienvenido a Maui Sands # 6E. A pocos pasos del mar con vistas al jardín en Honokowai. Este apartamento del segundo piso está en la esquina del edificio, donde se puede encontrar una vista peek-a-boo del océano. Hay escaleras de la entrada, pero no hay ascensores. Una unidad de aire acondicionado de ventana en la sala de estar que se mantenga fresco. Un puesto de estacionamiento está asignado a la unidad.

"Disfrutamos de nuestra estancia en el Maui Sands. Es un complejo más tranquilo, más pequeño. Nuestra unidad estaba en el extremo más cercano a la piscina y tenía muchas palmeras creciendo alrededor del balcón. Eso ayudó a que se sintiera privado. Detalles adicionales del Administrador residente y AOAO con fecha 1/6/19 y actualizados el 19/3/19:
Los trabajos de reparación del dique comenzarán en el lado sur (edificio 5) de la propiedad (Oceanside).

Acabamos de recibir un aviso de que los trabajos de reparación del rompeolas comenzarán el 15 de abril de 2019. Se supone que lleva unos 8 meses.
Si todo va bien, el contratista trabajará de lunes a viernes durante el día laboral. Debido a que las mareas y el clima son dudosos, lo más probable es que haya días en que no estén funcionando.
• La construcción comenzará en el extremo sur del edificio 5.
• Los invitados tendrán acceso a las parrillas (excepto Maui Seaside # 717).
• Hay una plataforma de observación temporal a la que tendrá acceso, y escaleras en el lado norte del edificio 4 que pueden requerir caminar un poco alrededor del área de preparación de la construcción.
• Habrá acceso al océano durante las horas de trabajo.

Great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: very clean suite with nice garden view. Liked the location - only 5 min walking distance to market, fish tacos, coffee and groceries. Didn’t use the pool because we had the beach. Suite is a bit dated but met our needs. Would definitely consider staying here again.

The sliding doors to the balcony were extremely difficult to open and I didn’t know how to turn on the fans. I tried contacting the management company, but they never got back to me. The bathroom wasn’t totally clean when I arrived and some of the kitchen drawers could do with some cleaning.

Our destination wedding/honeymoon

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, very comfortable. Just a couple small issues, the room was hot when we arrived, a/c not turned on. We didn't receive the check in for parking pass, and the additional rolls of toilet tissue were not supplied. A phone call corrected the parking pass issue, but we purchased toilet tissue for our stay. Code for pool wasn't up to date as security system had been updated. The patio had rack to dry towels, close to pool, kitchen had everything, a clean, comfortable apartment.

Not Impressed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our recent stay at a Chase’n Rainbows property was unimpressive. We’ve stayed at Chase’n Rainbows properties several times in the past and always had a good experience. This condo, however, was questionable from the start.- The lock to the front and back doors need replacement. The front lock barely works at all, was very difficult to lock from either the inside or outside and provided no actual security. The back door cylinder lock was unusable, limiting us to the sliding door latch. - The dining chair seats were unusable. Only one had a plywood support under the cushion, which meant the rest of the seats were four-legged sinkholes.- The air conditioner was tucked behind the large, filthy, ridiculously wired “entertainment center” – which meant none of the air from this 1980-vintage unit made it out of the corner. I moved the “entertainment center” and jerry-rigged a fan to give the air a fighting chance of making it anywhere in the condo (getting cool air to the bedroom was a lost cause).- There was no parking form in our room as promised in our welcome email, and we received a “warning” for not having one on our windshield. I called the office and was told one would be delivered to us right away. Four hours later I called back and was told it would probably not be delivered that day, but maybe the next? I hand-wrote a note and placed it on my windshield. - The room was dirty. Under normal circumstances, I would have ignored the dirty dishes, the ants, and the fact that the coffee machine had not been emptied of coffee grounds from the last resident. But we paid a $200 cleaning fee. That means with a four-day stay, Chase’n Rainbows is making cleaning fee revenue around $1,400 a month. I expect something a little more sanitary than dirty dishes and an unemptied coffee machine. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND OF THE CLEANING FEE.All around, this was the least i

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental appeared to be very clean other than the carpet. A few dead bugs made me wonder how clean it the last good vacuuming was done.There was no parking pass in our rental as promised, we made our own and put in our car as well as getting the information of our car to the managers in box. We got a parking warning which was frustrating given we received no parking pass as promised. The AC did not work at all, with everything closed up, we gave up, and opened the shutters for air flow, it worked out well... The ceiling fans in the kitchen and living room worked well. There were a couple of moveable fans that were quite dusty/dirty. We did not feel comfortable using. Overall, it met our expectations and was a good place to stay given the price was very reasonable. The pool and amenities were nice and well kept.I would recommend updating the snorkel gear, and you may consider adding in some beach chairs and umbrellas as some of the other units had these and it would be a nice touch to add. We enjoyed our stay. The Maui Sands was in a nice location for all the beach activities. We would consider staying here again.

Tranquilidade e paz, com o mar à sua porta.

O imóvel é amplo, localização privilegiada (para quem prefere mais sossego e menos badalação), acesso perfeito ao mar por meio de uma passarela/jardim, lugar ideal para amanhecer o dia ou curtir um lindo por -do-sol. A acomodação não é tão nova e poderia estar melhor cuidada, mas as oportunidades de melhoria em nada chegaram a comprometer os dias maravilhosos que vivemos aqui. Detalhe importante é estar com carro alugado (necessariamente), pois apesar de ter tudo que se precise a curta distância, o fato de estar a noroeste da ilha, faz com que fique um pouco mais distante das principais atrações. Voltariamos, com certeza. Recomendamos!

Infested in cockroaches

We stayed in the property for less than one hour and were forced to find accomodations elsewhere in the middle of the night after realizing that the kitchen and part of the living room area were infested in cockroaches. Tried to reach the afterhours line, but after being asked why we called, we never received further responses. While staying at an outdated unit was dealable with, the condition of the unit was unsanitary.

Spacious living space and great location.

We needed to call on housekeeping and maintenance on arrival because there had been some mishap and on our arrival our condo was not ready. It had not been cleaned and there were no linens and such. Within a couple of hours we had a lovely clean condo with everything we needed. The screen door to the lanai was fixed promptly. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the sea wall at sunrises over Molikai and and sunsets over Lanai, always treated to whales frolicking!

Mother's day week-long adventure

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 13 year old son and I spent 6 nights at Maui Sands and loved every moment of it. The condo was perfect for the two of us. We loved the private deck tucked behind the palm trees, giving it a fun and tropical feel of privacy. From the deck we enjoyed listening to and watching the tropical birds. The sweet little beach was also perfect for just lounging around. On lower tide days you can easily swim around and between the two reefs. The water is clear and fun to look for sea critters. Evening sunsets were gorgeous. The property is convenient for walking to nearby ABC store, farmers market, and other fun stores/restaurants. Short drive to Kaanapali Beach or Napili beaches and Lahaina. Definitely recommend.

Super stay!

We experienced a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Quiet and lush surroundings with a good location near a park, food truck, shopping for necessities and snorkeling equipment at nearby Boss Frog. Comfortable and well-equipped. Nice pool. Well-kept grounds, Great value!

COVID clean?

Unit was ready on time but the glass dining table, coffee table, bathroom mirror and sliding glass doors were dirty. Dining room table still had food on it and the bathroom floor had hair on it. There were instruction to complete a form for parking and drop off at managers office, no form in unit. Call Chasing Rainbow Mgmt regarding the above with no response. Love Maui Sands Condo's but not this unit and not this managment company.

Nice condo

This condo was perfect in many respects. It was clean and well equipped. It was a short drive to Lahaina and everything was very easy. You need to register your car with the property manager and get a permit. I tried to do this 4 times and the manager was never in. I left the form in his drop box but still got a nasty little note about filling in the form and registering. I gave low marks for the management and that's why. Everything else was perfect.

Maui Sands Stay

Maui Sands was a great rental while my boyfriend and I were vacationing. It had everything we needed and was a very spacious unit. The complex also had a beautiful view of the water. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Maui!

Great stay

Very clean and comfortable. Everything you’d need in the kitchen. The lush garden view from the large deck was wonderful - you can see the sunrise over the mountains from the east end and a little view of the ocean from the west end - short walk through the garden area to the water!

This was a great spot to chill for a long weekend in Maui. The property has a sea wall and no beach, but there is a park right up the road that has access. The pool was great and the neighborhood is quiet. Lots of little places to eat within walking distance and a fun food truck park with lots of food options.
