Everything was exactly as appears if not better

Hostess, Beatrice met us early so we could drop our bags before a scheduled tour. She was very fast, kind, and helped us to get through the technical quickly so we could be on our way. Location was perfect. Seriously only a 15 minute walk to major attractions like the Duomo. Also, the views from the apartment was fantastic. A negative was that there was a work crew doing repairs to old damage but they didn't start until like 0900 and were very kind to move to let me by. They were finished before we got back. It wasn't really a negative, but we happened to sleep in that day.... They were working during regular hours and Beatrice was trying to be quick make repairs on the place... So guess it's really a positive. Lots of stairs! But, there is an elevator you can use. One person at a time though. If you exit the apartment and go left two blocks, then turn left again... That little Piazza was perfect for breakfast and dinner! People very nice and good food. You need to book this place. Beatrice even left us a lovely welcome present. She is lovely.

Florence stay

Beatrice is a lovely woman who was super friendly and accessible. Elevator up is a one person elevator! It worked though. Still had some stairs to climb which was no problem for us just be aware. Place is perfectly located and had amazing views. It was very hot in Florence so don’t expect the air conditioner to cool you down like in the USA. They had a fan in the loft for the bedroom but could have used a fan in living area. Evenings you could open windows and sleep with them open. We did cook. Kitchen is small but manageable. Overall a nice place.

Great Location and Nice Host

This lovely top floor apartment was in a perfect location for walking to the major attractions in Florence. Beatrice was very kind and even greeted us with a bottle of wine. I wanted to mail a package back home to the states and Beatrice was very helpful. She walked to the post office with us and helped translate while we figured out all the custom’s forms and costs. The apartment has a beautiful view of the Duomo. We enjoyed our time and would stay here again.

THE GOOD, THE GREAT, AND THE GRAND!

We rented this location between July 7th and July 11th, 2018. I have nothing but praises for this wonderful piece of heaven. To start, we were actually scheduled to be here around the same time in 2017. Tragically, I had a medical emergency that threw the entire vacation out the window. While this was (to put it mildly) heartbreaking, Beatrice was the only renter who even granted us an offer for the following year at 50% off from our original cost! She didn’t have to do this at all since my woes are not her problem. Yet, she was incredibly gracious and afforded us that offer as a result of our misfortune. And trust me, once you step inside of her apartment, you’ll see just how glad we were that we were able to stay at her place. The vista alone is worth the trip. Every window offers you a “Kodak Moment Cityscape” that‘s nothing short of breathtaking. Yes, you’re at the highest room of the building. You could see it as “having to climb that many steps,” or you could see it as “Oh My Lord, look at THAT VISTA!” Besides, there is an elevator that takes two people up at a time (helps to cut down the climb). The apartment is central to EVERYTHING! It has excellent air-conditioning that cools the place down in a jiffy. The WIFI is super solid! There is a coffee maker, cutlery and dishes, and plenty of lighting. A market is nearby, along with a plethora of places to eat. TV has a signal for regular channels (great if you happen to be there during a World Cup, like we were), and there is a washing machine and a drying rack. The person who received us was courteous (prefers to speak Italian or Spanish), and immediately pointed us to the booklets that Beatrice had prepared with all sorts of information and recommendations for the stay! Beatrice also left us a big bottle of water and a bottle of wine as a “welcome,” and was immediately available if we needed her. Yes, while Florence is what you’re here to see, having a comfortable place is a must for completing was was otherwise an unforgettable experience for myself, my husband, and my two very delighted kids! The apartment was the perfect respite for a hot summer afternoon and we would definitely come here again—no questions asked!

Great choice for a wonderful stay in Florence

3rd+ floor loft apartment with views over the rooftops. A very convenient stay in heart of city yet still quiet. Apartment is clean and nicely decorated. Owner is a lovely lady who lives in the building. Our family of 4, including 2 grown/teenage boys, had an enjoyable vacation. Only concern was the air conditioning that took better part of a day to cool down the loft, however once cooled off it remained very comfortable for the rest of our stay. We would certainly stay here again and recommend to others.

Windows and views everywhere, Wonderful host

If you want an amazing location and to feel like you live like Rapunzel at the top of a view tower, this is the place! I was even able to pick it out from the top of the Duomo. You have a full view of the Duomo from a corridor window, a partial view from the sofa, and a full view of three very cool castle-like towers. The sun sets behind all of these making for great views and photos. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and service-ware. The bathroom is off of the loft stairs, half way up. There is a lift but there are also 3 levels of stairs to climb (not including the stairs to the loft). Wasn't a problem for us but should be stated. Watch your head on the way down the loft stairs. Beatrice was very welcoming and accommodating. Fast with supply refill requests!

Wonderful hostess, lovely apartment, spectacular views and location

Beatrice couldn't be a more welcoming host, and the apartment is wonderful. Just watch your head in the loft when rushing back down to watch sunset over the Palazzo Vecchio and lighting the Cuomo!

Fantastic, comfortable and great views!

My husband, two teenagers and I spend three nights in Florence. This rental was the perfect home base for our holiday. Beatrice was friendly and welcoming. The apartment was comfortable, in a great location and had tremendous views of the city. I would highly recommend this apartment and Beatrice!

A perfect apartment lodging experience.

Apartment lodging for my family is about comfort and convenience. This apartment had it all. It is big enough with a smart use of space. It is clean and fully accommodating. The owner has invested in the property to keep it nice as well. The location is both centrally located and an easy walk to cafes and the grocery. No matter how you like to enjoy Florence, this apartment will make it easier. The owner also lives in the building and was accessible with good advice when asked and respectful of privacy at all times. Everything was punctual, straight forward, and as promised. My family is experienced with apartment lodging and we know it is not hotel lodging. It is straight forward and needs to be right from the moment you arrive. This stay was a top experience with all of those qualities and more. We enjoyed it a lot! Thank you, Beatrice, for everything! We shall gladly be back:)

Amazing gem in the heart of Florence!

We had an incredible time in Florence and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The location is ideal to all things to see and do. Beatrice was so nice and welcoming- apartment is kept very clean and all is at your finger tips- full kitchen we were able to cook breakfast each morning before venturing out each day. Walkable to all of the sights, restaurants & bars. We spent 6 days at this wonderful apartment and the views are amazing!!! It was hard to leave and we can't wait to visit again. Will defenitely be staying here again.

Idéal pour visiter Florence à pieds

Séjour d'une bonne semaine, étape entre Pise et Sienne, fin septembre. "Nid d'aigle" "cosy" tout à fait conforme aux photos, la situation idéale pour arpenter la ville permet même de venir faire une petite sieste avant de repartir ! Levers et couchers de soleil sur les toits, le dôme, les tours du Palazzo Vechio et du Bargelo ... Toutes les catégories de restos pas loin, les glaces divines à 300 m (? : dans cette ville magnifique, on perd ses repères de distance, en tout cas pas loin, vers Santa Croce), 3 supérettes aux alentours, comme on veut quand on veut ! Un seul petit bémol, inhérent à la situation des rues étroites reliant en fait 2 quartiers branchés de la ville : en fin de semaine , les jeunes florentins font bien la fête jusqu'à très ... tôt le matin, les murs hauts de la rue font résonner voix et rires... Mais avec des bouchons d'oreille, ça le fait tout a fait... on ne peut pas tout avoir. En tous cas super séjour, avec propriétaire discrète et prévenante à la fois . Grazie mille , Signora Tita, nous avons de merveilleux souvenirs de notre séjour et votre appartement y a contribué !

Beautiful loft with ideal location

Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in this beautiful loft apartment. The location is perfect - very close to Duomo, Bargello Museum, Palazzo Vecchio and just about anything else you might want to see while in Florence. The apartment offers gorgeous views of the city, and made us all wish we could stay forever :) Beatrice was a great host, answered all of our questions and even left a binder full of tourist information and restaurant recommendations in the area. Although there is an elevator in the apartment building, there are also 3 sets of stairs to climb, which would be a problem for anyone with accessibility issues. Also, the apartment did have air conditioning but it did not work quite as well as we had hoped. It was very warm in Florence at the time, but the apartment did not cool down much. Other than that, the apartment was beautiful and in an ideal location for tourists! Thank you, Beatrice!

A wonderful apartment and a gracious hostess!

We just spent 4 nights in this loft apartment and our host was Beatrice. She met us at the apartment when we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment, as well as all of the information we needed to start sightseeing the next day. The apartment was exactly as described, it was clean and well maintained. We were very pleased to find that it was also close to all of the sights we wanted to see. We would recommend this apartment highly to anyone who wants to visit Florence and stay in an affordable, charming place!

Great condo near Duomo

The condo is in downtown Florence close to duomo and next to the Bargello museum and in walking distance to just about everything. We loved the layout and the views from all the windows are extraordinary. Beatrice was very nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. We definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to rent in Florence!

Most amazing loft apartment with fantastic views. Loved every minute of our visit to Florence. Well equipped unit and the bikes were a great plus. Neighborhood was central to all sightseeing.

Satisfaits

Très bien placé pour visiter Florence à pied. Spacieux et fonctionnel mais 2 étages à monter avec des escaliers ainsi qu'un accès à la mezzanine assez raide... Très satisfaits de notre séjour (malgré une nuit un peu bruyante dans le week end).

Un très bon séjour à Florence

Un appartement en plein centre de Florence. Très propre, joliment décoré et très lumineux, avec une vue incroyable sur le campanile de Giotto. Un nid douillet à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte. La propriétaire est très attentionnée et très serviable. Vous avez plusieurs restaurants dans la rue derrière l'appartement.

Unforgettable Florence

The apartment offers spectacular views of this beautiful city. It is well situated, well appointed, and close to all there is to see in Florence.
