Esta es nuestra cabaña en el bosque y el escape en general de la rutina diaria. La casa se mete hacia una zona verde y ofrece vistas escondidas en el bosque. Situado en Tahoe Donner, hay un fácil acceso al esquí, paseos en bote hacia el lago Donner, caminatas por los senderos cercanos y la vida del centro de Truckee.

Hay tres dormitorios que fácilmente pueden dormir 6, además de una cama plegable en un cuarto extra que añade espacio para 2 más.

Great cabin in an ideal location in the northwoods/Tahoe Donner area. The cabin had plenty of room for our family of 4 and was in a beautiful setting near the greenbelt. The owner was very accommodating and responsive during our stay. I hope to stay here again.

Adorable Cabin & Great Location

It was a brief stay for my wife and me, but we loved this cabin and would definitely rent it again. Great communication with the owner. The place came as advertised and is in a great location.

Love this cabin!

This cabin is comfortable, easy, spacious and in a spectacular location! The proximity to trails and the Tahoe Donner amenities is second to none! The property owner is very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay! Highly recommend!

Awesome house, great location

This house was perfect, well stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. Great layout and dog friendly. We stayed for a week, worked from here (fast Internet) and enjoyed hiking and eating out. We had never stayed in the summer and it's such a fun place to be without snow. Would definitely stay here again.

Great winter Getaway

We had an amazing time. The cabin is clean and the location is perfect. We were able to bring the dogs with us which we loved. The kids and the dogs had a blast playing in the snow behind the cabin. We would stay here again.

Great for families

Our family of 5 had a great time at the house over spring break. The kids played in the snow behind the house all day. Large house with plenty of room for our family.

Highly recommend the Hansel House

The Hansel House had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay in Tahoe Donner! The home was very neat and clean, and has plenty of room to spread out for larger parties. The neighborhood was incredibly quiet which was wonderful. The property owner was also quick to respond to any inquiries. We had an amazing stay, and we hope to come back to this home in the future!

Amazing place in great location!!

This is the rare VRBO that is way better than the pictures. Beautiful, comfortable home with tons of space and giant picture windows. It has everything you need and is in a very accessible location. Thank you for the great stay in Truckee! We had a blast. Love that it is dog friendly and lots of slow play area in front and back.

House in Paradice!

Great comfortable, but basic cabin

First of all, Scott (the owner) is very responsive to all texts. The cabin is shy a few things which he will attend to. Perfect very basic cabin and GREAT for being able to take your dogs. Location is great in winter as well as summer.

Definitely recommend!

Lovely cabin so close to Tahoe Donner Downhill ski resort. Perfect for our family "workation". The home had all the amenities that you could hope for including a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of room for everyone! Scott was a great host and we appreciated his efforts to make our stay a pleasant one. Can't wait to return

Scott made our stay super comfortable and everything was easy to organize. We came at a time where there was a ton of snow and the steep driveway made it challenging but we managed. We'll be back again.

We Will Return!

The cabin is cozy, clean, and centrally located. We have three young sons who loved playing and sledding in the open space behind the cabin. We went on a few fun day trips within 45 miles of the cabin, including tubing and snowboarding at soda springs and a visit to the Fun Quest arcade at GSR in Reno.

Donner Get Away Weekend

Really enjoyed this home! Great set up inside and lots of space outside to play. The bonus game room downstairs was a hit for our young adult kids and the ability to have our pup join us, truly made this a family event. Thank you for being dog friendly. Also the owner was a great communicator and also allowed us to start our weekend earlier by letting us in before 5. Thank you! Highly recommend!

Great Cabin

Although we got there with two feet of snow...the cabin is very cozy, has a well stocked kitchen and very functional in a nice location. Best part was the owner is so responsive and GREAT. We will rent again in summer this time! Only marginal thing was they desperately need new linen and towels!! Thanks Scott!

Perfect getaway

Wonderful stay in Truckee, the location was perfect, close to ski resorts and shops. The host was very responsive and was extremely accommodating...There was the large snow storm that made travel unsafe and he was willing to transfer it to the next weekend. There was plenty of space for us to lounge after a long day on the slopes. Everything was clean and working. Would definitely come back to stay.

Great weekend getaway & a fantastic host!

There was just two of us and our two PuPs, but Tahoe Donner Retreat more than served our needs! Plenty of space, nice back deck with table & chairs to eat a meal or just relax with a beverage. VERY quiet area at night time. Decent TV with good selection of channels. The house is centrally located with easy access to Donner Lake, downtown Truckee, Squaw Village or the north shore / Tahoe City. Scott was a FANTASTIC host; great communication, flexible and very easy to deal with! My girlfriend and I would absolutely stay here again!

I think we're typical owners - we love skiing in the winter, hiking and biking in the summer and just taking it easy on the back deck or down by Donner Lake.
