A Disappointing Stay

Communication with the property owner was poor, with no responses to VRBO messages and no one meeting the guests as stated. The house was found unlocked, and a trailer in the driveway blocking parting spots.The property had numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. The master bathroom had only two of six vanity lights and had dead gnats in the tub and shower. The basement bathroom's shower curtain had pink mildew on it. Thirteen damp towels were left in the dryer, and dirty dishes were in the dishwasher, which was also missing a wheel and wasn't properly anchored.Many amenities were broken or non-functional. The Wi-Fi was out, which prevented the use of a baby monitor and addressing work tasks. The televisions and fireplace were not working, and the ice machine was disconnected. One living room fan was missing a remote, and the other needed new batteries to work. Attempts to contact the owner and their son about the Wi-Fi and TVs were ultimately ignored.The outdoor areas were also neglected, with an unkempt, weedy yard and a full, disgusting trash area. The tiki hut was unusable due to wasps and was also a mess.The number of issues made for a disappointing stay. With the property being for sale, I suspect they really don’t care and just want the continued income.

Great Place to Stay

This house was perfect for my family and my extended family. Big enough for 15 plus people. Great location. The dock was amazing. We brought our pontoon and left it in the lift. Made it so easy to go do things. we enjoyed the screened in porch a lot. very big and a place for everyone to sit and hang out. The picture online do not do the house justice. It was more beautiful and spacious than we thought. We defiantly will be booking again!! Thank you so much.

Great Stay

Overall, this was a great stay! We had several families staying here together and it accommodated all of us. The property managers were super helpful and responsive when/if we had any issues.

Family Gathering

Great home and location! Fit 4 families comfortably with room to spare. Great dock area and very handy that we could rent a boat and jet ski directly from the owners! would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing Property

Booked this for a family get together with 14 people. The house is amazing. The layout of the home is perfect & we had more than enough room to spread out. The kitchen had all the equipment we could have ever needed. The dock was perfect for spending the day & we really appreciated the afternoon shade it had. Loved having the Tiki Bar down by the water with the fridge. We’ve already talked about returning in the future. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone.

Great home, perfect location

Joel, Jessica, & Jackson were all so kind and accommodating. The house was perfect for our large group of 19. 8 adults and 11 kids ranging from ages 2-16. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. We loved the screened in porch. We brought 1 pontoon and rented another from blue water rentals. They made the process so easy and the pontoon boat was gorgeous. This is a great location for travel by car or boat to many fun places on the lake. Kids loved Coconuts and Frank and Louie’s. We also had plenty of fun just swimming, floating, and fishing by the dock. We will be back!

Father's Day at Ozarks!

Property was as advertised - Excellent. Family had a great time with Pontoon & related water accessories. Accomodations were perfect; spacious, clean, with an accessible dock/platform. Would recommend for a family vacation - would do it again.

Fantastic lake house

This property exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated and very clean and maintained. Layout of house worked wonderfully for quiet time for naps for small children. We spend most of our time on the dock, fishing off the end of the property, or in the screened in porch outside the kitchen. Lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues this could be problematic. We also loved the tiki hut with fridge. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great cove, Large clean home

Check in process was great. Jackson gave us a quick overview of the house. Bedroom set up was perfect along with bathrooms. Large areas to sit as a group. We had 17 in our group with 10 kids who all slept in the bunk room. The screened in porch was perfect and we spent many hours on the dock swimming and relaxing. Great place for a large group or gathering. We also got a sneak peek at the property next door that has same ownership it is going to be a beautiful place also great for large families/groups. We will definitely rent here again. Check out process was the easiest I have ever experienced and we rent multiple homes over the summer.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This was house had the best in everything, from quiet location to beautiful property, and a great host. It was everything I expected and more! Joel was awesome and very helpful in anything we needed. It was the best vacation to relax, enjoy family and friends, and the lake! ~ Hope to come back next summer ~

Perfect for families

We just got back and all of us hated to leave. We had 9 adults and 6 children ages 6 months to 11. We just could not have been happier. The house was perfect - everyone had private bedrooms & baths. Kitchen was well appointed & stocked. Screened in porch & balcony facing lake. Dock was excellent for swimming, boating, kayaking & just hanging out. Joel was very helpful & there to respond to any needs we had. Everyone gave the house & dock area a 5-star rating!! A short drive to grocery store, restaurants & beach bars. No complaints at all & hope to be back soon! Bill & Mags B

Pefect family reunion

We hosted our first family reunion at this home on the Lake, and it was so much fun. Swimming off of the dock was great fun for both young and old. We rented a boat, and appreciated the ability to dock overnight. The house was so clean and the bedroom and bathroom situation could not have been better designed. We really liked the lower floor kitchen and attached enclosed porch for card playing and laughter - that did not wake sleeping babies. The only recommendation would be a later check out time, mobilizing and packing everything for a 10am departure was a challenge. This truly was one of the best places we have stayed, I would highly recommend this for any family or friend group looking for a place to connect and relax. The owner is friendly and responsible, taking obvious pride in his property and the experience of his guests.

Great place for a girls getaway!

Our group of 11 ladies rented this house for our annual girls getaway and it was perfect! Plenty of room, updated bathrooms, large living area, great outdoor space with boat launch. The kitchen is in the lower level away from the living space which took some getting used to, but it was more accessible for the outdoor patio and boat area.

This property is amazing

We had a group from several countries at the lake and they were all impressed by this house. The dock and the area by the dock to build a fire and keep food and drinks in the tiki hut is priceless. Jessica was quick to respond with questions which is very helpful when you have so many people that you're coordinating.

Great time! Clean and very comfortable!

We had a large group of 20 people 5 families an even mix of kids and adults and there was plenty of space for all of us without being on top of each other. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for meal prep. We would definitely book this property again! Joel was working in the neighborhood and stopped by frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. He made sure we had what we needed and addressed any concerns right away.

Perfect Family Reunion Location in Secluded Cove

This is not your typical vacation rental. The home is beautiful and was just perfect for our 4 families consisting of 8 adults and 7 kids. Lots of places boast that they sleep x number of people, but very few actually provide acceptable sleeping arrangements when it comes down to it. This place met and exceeded our expectations. The bunk room for the grandkids was even nicer than in the photos and allowed everyone to have their own bed. The furnishings and decor throughout the home are magazine worthy. The screened porch was perfect for our evening meals. The cove was perfect for swimming right off the dock. We were able to get a tritoon boat delivered right to the dock. We were a little concerned about the remoteness from stores and restaurants, but were so glad to be away from all the chaos. We ended up not even leaving the house except while we were on the boat. Our kids did drive to the nearest supermarket a couple of times, and found everything they needed. This was our 1st family vacation with all 3 kids and their families, and they all enjoyed it so much that they want to make it an annual event. If we come back to Lake of the Ozarks, we will definitely book this property again. My only regret is not starting the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle sooner!

Beautiful Home

We had a great time staying at this wonderful home. We had plenty of room with 11 adults and four children. The pictures of the home online do not do it justice. It's a new home with beautiful furnishings. The bedrooms are big and roomy as well as all of the living areas. The screen porch was a huge plus! My elderly mother was able to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. We used it extensively for eating, games and visiting. The boat dock had good, deep water as well. It was easy to find and would definitely stay there again. The only small problem was that the upstairs bedrooms tended to be a little warm but it's been a hot summer. Joel, the owner, even came over and installed a window air conditioner in the bunk room! He was very easy to work with and accommodating!

Beautiful, well maintained, clean, gorgeously decorated home!

Homeowner was very attentive to all of our needs! House was well equipped with everything we needed. We had 5 families staying in the house and it worked out great! Awesome dock for kids to use. Just a note, the 5th bathroom is off of the screened in porch. The boys got a kick out of the urinal out there!! Would return!!

BEAUTIFUL HOME

This property is so much better than the pictures. I love that the house comes fully furnished and stocked. The winding roads and the driveway were kind of difficult to maneuver but I drive a jeep so I had no issues. I would definitely recommend backing into the driveway or driving something that will not bottom out easily as the driveway is gravel and extremely steep. I will definitely stay here time and time again!
