Apartamento de lujo de dos dormitorios en el Alto Country Club de 5 estrellas, uno de los principales resorts del Algarve. El histórico pueblo pesquero de Alvor está a poca distancia a pie, al igual que algunas de las mejores playas del Algarve, en particular la famosa Praia dos Três Irmãos.

El apartamento, con aire acondicionado, es espacioso y está bien equipado, y ofrece a los huéspedes un alojamiento confortable y de calidad. Ha sido completamente renovado en 2017 con Wi-Fi, TV satelital, 2 televisores HD, persianas con control remoto, puertas de patio de doble acristalamiento, barreras de mosquitos deslizantes, chimenea de leña, paneles radiadores eléctricos montados en la pared y una nueva cocina moderna totalmente equipada . Hay un gran patio exterior con cómodas sillas reclinables y una mesa de comedor para 6 personas.

El apartamento cuenta con estacionamiento subterráneo, y está ubicado en una zona céntrica y tranquila dentro del Alto Club, lejos de la carretera perimetral, con prácticamente su propio jardín privado con orientación sur oeste. Los amplios jardines del Alto Club han sido bellamente diseñados con una impresionante variedad de vegetación tropical, cascadas y estanques bien surtidos con carpas Koi.

Los huéspedes de Alto tienen acceso a tumbonas y sombrillas en la playa situada frente al restaurante Restinga. El apartamento atraerá a familias, parejas y golfistas por igual. El Country Club donde se encuentra el apartamento tiene una amplia gama de instalaciones en el lugar, que incluyen piscinas al aire libre y cubiertas, gimnasio y tenis. Hay dos restaurantes que han sido completamente renovados en 2019. Uno con un menú completo a la carta y el otro que sirve bocadillos junto a la piscina. Large and clean accommodation

Surprisingly large rooms and balcony with everything on hand. The wifi was excellent. We enjoyed the swimming pools and gym facilities. Excellent response from the host Paul and reception staff very helpful

Easter holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in Alvor in early April. The apartment was fantastic and the facilities on the complex were superb. Short walk into town and to the beach, helpful and friendly staff and host. Couldn’t have been better.

Great property with everything you need and want, perhaps other than a bbq, great location and great resort, would love to return again. Very good amenities in the property and throughout the Alto resort. Only slight issue is we would prefer property to be cleaned more frequently during our stay.

Superb

We had a great stay at this property. The property was better than the pictures and everything you could possibly need was available. It was a great location for Alvor and although we had a car, you do not need one. The facilities onsite were superb - there is an inside and outside pool (inside also has a sauna) and plenty of outdoor games available including equipment for the tennis, shuffleboard and putting green. We went out of a dolphin tour which the reception was only too happy to book for us and also gave us directions to the pick up location. I highly recommend this property - we will be returning soon!

A perfect three weeks

This is the nicest unit in the nicest complex close to Alvor and the beach. We chose the last three weeks of March because we like the quiet and the cooler temperatures. The apartment has everything you need and the friendly staff are always willing to help. We lucked out with 21 days of sunshine all in the low 20sC! We did take advantage of the fireplace on two of the cooler evenings. The indoor pool is close by and was perfect for lap swimming. The grounds are extremely well cared for. Paul is responsive to any questions or concerns and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. With luck we will be back next year.

Great stay at this apartment. Comfy beds, good shower and everything you need. The patio and gardens were lovely and you can sun bathe on the patio if you didn’t want to go down to the pool. Very close to indoor pool where there are also Sunbeds outside. My only downside was next door had tv loud til midnight but we were generally up til that time. And upstairs were moving furniture around after midnight. Surely that kind of stuff should be done at an earlier time.?? Despite this would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very good location for a visit to Alvor

Check in and out was quick and the front desk people were very helpful. The location is just outside of town A fifteen minute walk to the restaurant area and up the road from the beach 15-17 minute walk There were several restaurants within about five minute walk. The apartment was clean and spacious and well equipped.

Zentrale Lage in der Algarve 15 Gehminuten vom nächsten Strand

Schöne Anlage mit sämtlichen Annehmlichkeiten allerdings Fitness Raum und Innenpool in die Jahre gekommen. Parkplätze vorhanden allerdings zugehöriger Garagenparkplatz nicht ausgelegt für einen SUV. Wohnung sehr sauber allerdings ebenfalls die Türen und Toiletten in die Jahre gekommen. Durch Vorgänger beschädigter Topf wurde bei der initialen Prüfung durch Facility sofort ersetzt. Stauraum für Kleider und Koffer super vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und viele Ausflüge gemacht. Sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant in der Anlage mit besten Essen in der Algarve. Preis nach deutschen Standard aber sehr gute Qualität.

Ideal for families

We found the property very comfortable and clean. The resort is in an ideal location within a 10 minute walk to the beach and town centre, no need for a car. Alto club Itself is a bright, cheerful And friendly property with every amenity close at hand.

Beautiful 5 star vacation property!

This was a first rate vacation home- it was spotlessly clean and fully stocked with everything needed- especially the kitchen!! It was a pleasure to cook in which was required, as at the end of our stay, Alvor, along with the rest of Portugal shut down due to the Covid-19 virus The interior of the home felt warm and inviting Even the patio had comfortable lounge chairs for reading and enjoying the sunny weather! We would definitely return to stay in this property!!

Amazing

We spent the most wonderful week at Paul's apartment. The apartment was clean, spacious and fully equipped. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful with immaculately manicured gardens in a peaceful setting. Our family used both the indoor and outdoor pools which our children enjoyed immensely. We had a lovely meal at Cottons ( the onsite restaurant) and all the staff eete extremely friendly. The location of the apartment is excellent too, a lovely stroll to the beach with dedicated sunbeds and not too far to the nearest supermarket and town for local eateries and shops. We had a fabulous time and wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others. 5*

Simply perfect

As a family, we've been traveling to Alvor for five years. Our usual accommodation wasn't available so. I came upon Pauls. From the start everything about the apartment was perfect. The location is amazing, just a short stroll from the village, beach and local amenities, but. yet within its grounds, we felt so secluded and peaceful we could have been miles away from anywhere. The use of bed and umbrella on the beach is a lovely benefit and we never had a problem getting them. The accommodation is very spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is packed with everything one needs (not that I cooked too much !!) . I loved the grounds that are manicured to perfection and the resident turtles intrigued me, I could have watched them for hours. To sum all up we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and I will definitely be booking again. Many thanks, Paul for allowing us to stay.

Excellent apartment and location

Myself and my two grown-up children spent a relaxing week at Paul's apartment. There was everything that you would need and it was very clean and spacious. It was in a quiet position but the outdoor pool with cafe and indoor pool and gym were within a few minutes walking distance and it was in an ideal position also for walking into the town and to the beach. The Alto Club was well kept with gardeners tending to the lovely gardens and it was just very peaceful to sit on the terrace with landscaped gardens to look out onto. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

A GREAT HOLIDAY IN A LUXURY APARTMENT

This apartment 34F is in the Alto Golf and Country Club in Alvor Portugal. This superb apartment in an ideal location is close to shops and beaches in Alvor. The apartment is very clean and tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard by the owners and is in the same condition as it was when we stayed here two years ago. The Alto Golf and Country Club has many facilities including an outdoor and indoor pool, restaurant, snack bar and tennis courts. When you stay in this luxury apartment you are entitled to use one umbrella and two sun beds on the beach at Alvor near to the Restinga Restaurant. These sunbeds are free of charge but you have to go early as there are only a limited number. The apartment itself has very efficient air-conditioning in the lounge/dining room and both bedrooms. We did not use the air-conditioning much as the apartment stays quite cool during the day when the electric blinds are lowered. It is recommended to keep the blinds down during the day not only because it keeps the apartment cool but also gives it that bit of extra security. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric oven, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electronic safe etc. There is also satellite TV, Wi Fi and a very nice patio area with six chairs and a table along with sun loungers as well. It is very pleasant to sit on the patio in the morning to have breakfast. In the afternoon the sun shines directly on the patio so it is ideal for sun bathing although somewhat too hot to sit outside to have a meal until the sun has set. Adjoining the patio is a very pleasant garden which is well looked after by the staff of the Alto club. The apartment has its own dedicated parking area in the garage beneath the apartment. I think it essential to rent a car at the airport when staying in the Alto club as it is around 67 kms from Faro Airport. The receptionist in the Alto Club was very helpful on our arrival and gave us a lot of useful information regarding the club and facilities. There is also a very comprehensive instruction manual with photos in the apartment on how to use all the appliances. We enjoyed a superb holiday in this luxury apartment and would fully recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in Alvor. cheeky week

Overall it is probably the best equipped self catering property we have stayed in. 3 different ways to make coffee, and that does not include instant! The property is very clean. Everything is close by, bars and restaurants within an easy walk. The beach another easy walk, immaculately clean, and not busy. The only downside is that we needed more to do, there are only so many times you can walk around a small shopping area before boredom sets in. We booked the catamaran, half day, excellent. The walking on the boardwalk and beach is very good. That is about it. Great place to go if you want to wind down and relax.

We really enjoyed our stay in such a lovely apartment and would be very happy to come back again. We have stayed at the Alto Club several times and this apartment is among the best we have rented. It's not just the finishing touches but also the attention to practical needs. We would highly recommend both the apartment and the village of Alvor which is a big holiday favourite of ours.

My family has been coming to Portugal since the 1960s. Having travelled in many parts of the world I still consider the beaches in the Algarve second to none. The food is excellent and the Portuguese are amongst the friendliest people to be found anywhere. The Alto Club is a special place in a unique setting. After a failed previous management, the Club has been purchased by the freehold owners of its villas and apartments is currently being restored to its previous glory.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Alvor has a distinctly Portuguese ambience with traditional whitewashed houses, narrow cobbled streets and working fishing boats moored along the banks of the river. A holiday in Alvor is often focused around the beach, but there are also waterparks, boat tours, nature trails, dolphin watching trips and of course golf courses. The original fish market is still a central focal point where evening events are now staged. Walking back into the village through narrow cobbled streets you may come across the 16th Century Church which boasts one of the most magnificent main doors in the Algarve.

Alvor offers a wide choice of restaurants; from classic Portuguese with their displays of fresh fish to family restaurants catering for the budget conscious. There is a sufficient mix of bars to entertain all age groups.

Alvor's main beach is only 5 minutes walk from the quayside. A long white sandy beach spreading for miles in either direction means you will always find a space of your own. The beach restaurants, lifeguards, facilities and plenty of parking makes the Alvor beach very popular and family friendly.

On the West side of Alvor flows the Ria de Alvor which spills into the lagoon. The boardwalk along the vast estuary and sand dunes make a wonderful walk, offering stunning views and as a protected natural area, teem with wildlife and flora.

Golfers are spoilt for choice with Alto Golf (a short drive away), Palmares, and Penina all designed by Sir Henry Cotton, the latter considered his masterpiece.

Portimão is the main capital town of the area and boasts great shopping. It is also one of the big game centres in the Algarve, offering the chance to catch swordfish, shark and other big fish.

A car is recommended, but not essential. There are always taxis available in the centre of Alvor as well as a bus service into Portimao or Lagos. Alvor is just off the main Algarve motorway which links Spain and Portugal. Faro and the airport is a 45 minute drive away.
