Esta hermosa 'Secret Garden Beach House' en Santa Cruz es perfecto para una escapada de la familia y amigos. Situado en una zona tranquila playa. Un paseo de 5 minutos a Capitola Village, 38th Ave Surf Sanctuary Beach y carril bici, Eastside Eatery, Penny Ice Creamery, Verve Coffee Cafe, hamburguesas de Betty, Nueva Bohemia Brewery, Acantilado Cafe, Cinelux teatro, etc. El jardín es una delicia para relajarse o barbacoa en. El interior es de buen gusto y cómodo. Hay 2 dormitorios (1 Ocultar una cama en la sala de estar); 1) cama con la apertura de puertas francesas a un hermoso jardín. 2) cama King con baño principal, TV de pantalla plana, puertas francesas a Bañera de hidromasaje (Mantenido por Hot Tub Especialista de agua). La casa está limpio y soleado. La cocina tiene Thermador Horno, (todo de acero inoxidable Appl.), Cafetera, molinillo de café, tostadora, microondas, licuadora, Amplia selección de ollas y sartenes, Compactador de basura, especias y condimentos abastecido. En total, hay dos televisores de pantalla plana con sonido envolvente y reproductor de DVD, Bañera de hidromasaje, Internet inalámbrico, Barbacoa. Spacious place in a quiet yet central neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, although a little gloomy in some areas. The layout of different gardens and dog access didn’t work for us very well - the sunny yard adjacent to the kitchen and dining room was off limits for dogs, and thus, by default, us. The yard was also the main access route for Sarah to the rear unit so also not especially private. Maybe I should have read the description more closely but this was not explicitly mentioned and did come as a surprise.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the quiet central location and found the home clean and comfortable. I appreciate your comments regarding the garden layout and dog access as well. The property does include multiple outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy, including the front yard with grass, a teak table & chairs and direct access from the front bedroom and living room French doors. Many guests with dogs do enjoy the sunny side garden area as well, and typically just bring their dogs inside or to the front yard briefly if I need to pass through to access the rear unit. I always try to do so as discreetly and infrequently as possible to respect guests’ privacy. I appreciate the feedback and will look at making the layout and shared access arrangement even clearer in the listing description for future guests. Thank you again for staying here. Sara

Everything is top notch. Sara and all the things she does to make your stay comfortable from luxury linens to treats ( both human and for dog) to beautiful gardens to her beautiful artwork and providing a relaxing atmosphere are more than expected. Excellent place to stay! The host was great at Communicating with me. She had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel special and very welcomed. Her garden is amazing, just something out of a fairytale!! I highly recommend this place to stay - one of the best places.

Host seemed annoyed I contacted her ten minutes before arrival so that she could greet us with keys per instructions on VRBO ArrivalPortal. She stated these were “old” instructions (?). I would encourage people to print out arrival instructions because no access to internet before entering by keypad code which requires internet. Place was clean and decent, beds and couches not firm or new. It was fine but overpriced for what it provided. Owners exit and enter on path next to rental unit which does trigger dogs to bark.

This is the second time we stayed at Sara’s house. Location is great. The bungalows two large bedrooms and two baths plus kitchen dining and living room you couldn’t ask for more. Everything is complementary beautifully to make you stay comfortable and enjoyable

We loved this cottage by Pleasure Point Beach

This cottage was perfect for my husand and I, our teenage son and our dog, Blue. It was cozy and artistic. The king size bed in the main room was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while traveling. The hot tub was large, secluded and fit the whole family in. We loved the little garden area in the front. It was a great location, walking distance to coffee, restaurants and the ocean. And, Sara, the owner, was very accomdodating to all our needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our favorite getaway!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is our favorite. We have had the pleasure of visiting multiple times and enjoyed each one. The neighborhood is quiet, the gardens are beautiful, the decor is peppered with original art and comfy furnishings and Sara, the host, is wonderful. The King size bed is just right and the shower in the back bedroom is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and we have cooked everything from tacos to chili to pasta and fish. We all enjoyed the treats provided by Sara and our dog enjoys the fenced in front yard and walks in the neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants close by and some within walking distance. We are looking forward to our next stay in a month or so.

Welcoming and so comfortable.

Sara is the consummate hostess. This is our second visit and she did not disappoint. Since it was the beginning of December the house was tastefully decorated with a few nods to the holidays. She even had the burning Yule log running on the TV as we entered. We immediately felt the coziness of the house and we were so welcomed by the many treats she left for us and the dog. The house is very clean, the bed and sheets comfy and living room couches and pillows so inviting for lazy reading time or watching TV. Again the location is perfect and within short walks to dining and craft beer quaffing. We will be back!

Great spot close to downtown and dog friendly

Communication with owner was excellent. She left gifts for our dogs and bottle of wine for my friends bday. Beds were so comfortable, I slept great. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect either for Two singles or two couples. The larger of the two yards is a shared entrance woth the owner so careful leaving dogs out there without supervision and the other areas are better suited for smaller dogs. Parking in driveway is great. Kitchen well equipped if you are cooking. Comfortable house would go back. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but is a bonus!

I enjoy riding horses, gardening, painting. photography, and walks along the beach with my dog. I do portraits of animals in Pastels, Oils & Acylics.

I loved that Magnolia Garden Bungalow is close to many beaches and Capitola Village! The street is very quite, which is great for sleeping in. And if you like to walk to restaurants, there's a choice of just about every style and taste. Along with a nearby brewery and outdoor seating to bring your dog along .

The Gardens create a privacy and tranquility with Teak garden furniture and tables. My guests comment that the interior feels like a home away from home. I'm also happy to report many compliments on the mattresses being so comfortable!! I source linen & bedding from luxury brands. It's centrally located near the beach in a quite peaceful neighborhood. Capitola Village is 5 minutes away. The 38th Ave. Surf Sanctuary/Bike path is a great place for a walk along the cliffs on the ocean. Restaurants; EastSide Eatery, NuBo Brewery, Penny Ice Creamery,Verve Coffee Roasting, Cliff Cafe, Whole Foods, TraderJoe's, Theaters,Shopping etc., all a short stroll away.
