Esta hermosa 'Secret Garden Beach House' en Santa Cruz es perfecto para una escapada de la familia y amigos. Situado en una zona tranquila playa. Un paseo de 5 minutos a Capitola Village, 38th Ave Surf Sanctuary Beach y carril bici, Eastside Eatery, Penny Ice Creamery, Verve Coffee Cafe, hamburguesas de Betty, Nueva Bohemia Brewery, Acantilado Cafe, Cinelux teatro, etc. El jardín es una delicia para relajarse o barbacoa en. El interior es de buen gusto y cómodo. Hay 2 dormitorios (1 Ocultar una cama en la sala de estar); 1) cama con la apertura de puertas francesas a un hermoso jardín. 2) cama King con baño principal, TV de pantalla plana, puertas francesas a Bañera de hidromasaje (Mantenido por Hot Tub Especialista de agua). La casa está limpio y soleado. La cocina tiene Thermador Horno, (todo de acero inoxidable Appl.), Cafetera, molinillo de café, tostadora, microondas, licuadora, Amplia selección de ollas y sartenes, Compactador de basura, especias y condimentos abastecido. My family had a wonderful time at Sara's. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Capitola, perfect for enjoying the beach and coming back to relax in a peaceful environment.

Bad VRBO experience

Not very good at all. No hot water for two days. Cold showers in December are not fun. Sink and garbage disposal broke and were inoperable for three days. This made Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals difficult. Plumbers told us we should get a refund since the sink and disposal were clogged with black gunk and goo for a really long time. Owner offered nothing. Will not return, ever.

Perfect location

We really loved staying at this house. So perfect to travel with our dog. The location was great and just a short walk to downtown Capitola. Private and beautifully landscaped!

Great house and close to everything

We had a great stay at this house. It is well stocked, clean and comfortable. It was close to all the good surf spots. We would stay here again! The host is super sweet and very accommodating.

Great Amenities, Location and OODLES of Charm!

We stayed for a long weekend. The house is really fun with three different, separately fenced areas. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the home like a bowl and dog toy for our dog, plenty of pillows, throws, umbrellas, and beautiful art. The kitchen had everything you could think of and then some. In fact, the whole house just has art and pillows and textures everywhere. The hot tub was lovely and we used it every evening. I gave my twin boys the big master in the front and I took the smaller bedroom with the hot tub right off the patio. I wasn't sure from the listing, but there are two bathrooms. The neighborhood was fairly quiet for SC, though it should be noted that there is a back unit and if it's rented, those strangers will be coming through your sideyard where there are a lot of windows. I think the back unit also allows dogs, because there was a little, yappy dog back there every morning about 7 a.m. I didn't mind as I'm an early riser, but just wanted to warn. The only thing this charming, cute little cottage is missing is a nightstand in the smaller bedroom. That would be a nice touch. (Oh and don't forget to buy one of the beautiful cards in the kitchen! They are gorgeous!)

Awesome stay

Everything is top notch. Sara and all the things she does to make your stay comfortable from luxury linens to treats ( both human and for dog) to beautiful gardens to her beautiful artwork and providing a relaxing atmosphere are more than expected. We have stayed here many times and plan to return soon.

Magnolia Garden Home

Excellent place to stay! The host was great at Communicating with me. She had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel special and very welcomed. Her garden is amazing, just something out of a fairytale!! I highly recommend this place to stay - one of the best places.

Our favorite getaway!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is our favorite. We have had the pleasure of visiting multiple times and enjoyed each one. The neighborhood is quiet, the gardens are beautiful, the decor is peppered with original art and comfy furnishings and Sara, the host, is wonderful. The King size bed is just right and the shower in the back bedroom is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and we have cooked everything from tacos to chili to pasta and fish. We all enjoyed the treats provided by Sara and our dog enjoys the fenced in front yard and walks in the neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants close by and some within walking distance. We are looking forward to our next stay in a month or so.

Fabulous family time, with adult children

This was our first VRBO experience, and we were pleased with every aspect of our stay. Compared to hotels, this was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, safe, and relaxing. We appreciated the original art work, the tropical gardens, and the comforts of home. Our small, older dog was happier than he has ever been on a trip. The location is ideal, as the property is set between Capitola and Santa Cruz, just under half a mile from the beach. Thank you to Sara, our host, who went above and beyond to accommodate parking for my son's SUV and trailer. Wonderful memories: kayaking in Santa Cruz, an elegant, delicious meal at Shadowbrook, and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything went smoothly, and we felt at home. We loved our first VRBO stay! Thank you Sara for the extra touches that made us feel welcomed. Kelly and family

Home away from home: Simply Perfect:)

We came here to spend time with our brand new granddaughter and her parents. They live a half a mile away, and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. Sara’s magnolia cottage is peaceful, perfectly laid out and lovingly cared for. The gardens are spectacular and soothing. The hot tub was the perfect way to book end our day. I love, love the kitchen and all the equipment. We had everything we needed ( and more). Sara was immediately responsive to any questions or needs. We don’t have any pets, and this is a pet friendly place. The place was impeccably clean, and there was no evidence of any pet dander. This is the best place we have ever stayed. I highly recommend it . It’s also the perfect location with the beach and East Cliff just down the road: not to mention verve coffee, Pizza and a brewery within walking distance. I’m hoping that this will be our go to place on regular visits to Capitola /Santa Cruz. Truly wonderful and we are so grateful.

We loved this cottage by Pleasure Point Beach

This cottage was perfect for my husand and I, our teenage son and our dog, Blue. It was cozy and artistic. The king size bed in the main room was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while traveling. The hot tub was large, secluded and fit the whole family in. We loved the little garden area in the front. It was a great location, walking distance to coffee, restaurants and the ocean. And, Sara, the owner, was very accomdodating to all our needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving holiday. Great location, easy walking distance to stores, beach, Verve coffee. Sara was only a text away. Kitchen is set up with everything you could possibly need. love the vintage feel.

Great Location & Beautiful Garden

First of all... cold beer & wine waiting for us upon arrival! Awesome after a drive with dog & toddler! Stayed here with my husband and almost 3 year old and two doggos. Great location for food, coffee, brews, beach & shopping. You could stay here and not get back in your car all week! Loved the private garden out front. Having a kiddo, it was nice to have a TV with options. Beds were comfy, used the stand up shower, not the tub. Everything was very clean and we had every supply we needed! Great stay!

Memories of the Boardwalk, sandy beaches, and beautiful surroundings is something I've never tired of. I have lived in Santa Cruz for 42 yrs. and counting. I enjoy riding horses, gardening, painting. photography, and walks along the beach with my dog. I do portraits of animals and people in Pastels, Oils & Acylics.

I loved that Magnolia Garden Bungalow is close to many beaches and Capitola Village! The street is very quite, which is great for sleeping in. And if you like to walk to restaurants, there's a choice of just about every style and taste. Along with a nearby brewery and outdoor seating to bring your dog along .

The Gardens creat a privacy and tranquility with Teak garden furniture and tables. My guests comment that the interior feels like a home away from home. I'm also happy to report many compliments on the mattresses being so comfortable!! I source linen & bedding from luxury brands. It's centrally located near the beach in a quite peaceful neighborhood. Capitola Village is 5 minutes away. The 38th Ave. Surf Sanctuary/Bike path is a great place for a walk along the cliffs on the ocean. Restaurants; EastSide Eatery, NuBo Brewery, Penny Ice Creamery,Verve Coffee Roasting, Cliff Cafe, Whole Foods, TraderJoe's, Theaters,Shopping etc., all a short stroll away.
