Uzes : lovely 18th century apartment overlooking on the Duchy of Uzes. This apartment is in the center historic town and has a beautiful view on the castle. You have a living room with a painted ceiling of 18th century, a kitchen with all the necessary and a sofa bed, a separate bedroom and a bathroom. Just around, you have many shops, restaurants, bars, an underground parking ( inclued in the price from June to September ) ,and a town pool. Just around, you can visit many places : Le pont du Gard, Nimes, Avignon,Arles, les Cevennes, la Camargues....

Brigitte was a lovely host. The apartment was spacious and clean. It’s right in the heart of Bonnieux, walking distance from everything! I’m sorry we missed the market!

Lovely apartment, well-equipped for a perfect stay in Uzès. The view out the window of the castle and the pedestrian square is magnificent! Only a 5 minute walk to the parking garage is so easy, but also a great location for just walking to shops, restaurants, and the market. The bed is comfortable and all is very clean. Our host Brigitte was so kind and responsive to any questions during our stay. We highly recommend this 18th century apartment!

We loved being right in the centre of Uzès looking out on the Duchy and so close to the Place aux Herbes. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed and the owner was very pleasant and helpful.

Geweldig Uzès

Uzès is een geweldige stad, optimaal te beleven vanuit het mooi appartement van Brigitte. Ligging is subliem, appartement is stijlvol. En redelijk koel ondanks het temperaturen van 30-35 buiten

Im Zentrum einer sehr schönen Stadt

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Reizendes Städtchen. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Lediglich Parken sowie Ein- und Ausladen etwas schwierig. Denn das Appartement liegt direkt in der Fußgängerzone.

Wunderschöne Tage in Uzès

Wir verbrachten 12 erholsame Tage in diesem ausserordentlich hübschen Städtchen. Auf dem traumhaften Place aux Herbes; Kaffee trinken, Apéro sich genehmen oder dinnieren -jedes zu seiner Zeit. Immer wieder mal mit dem Hund ins romantische Val d'Eure runter und von dort weiter durch die nach Jasmin duftenden Wälder. Grössere Ausflüge führten uns nach Nime und Avignon, sowie ans Meer (Plage Espiguette) und zum Fluss Gard bei Collias. Auch genossen wir die hübsche Wohnung im alten Gemäuer mit der schönen Aussicht auf den Duché. Bei Fragen half einem Manon, Brigittes Tochter, im Brillengeschäft darunter weiter. (Und dort habe ich mir als "Souvenir" auch eine tolle Brille gekauft.) Kulinarisch lässt Uzès definitv keinen Wunsch offen. Es gibt unendlich viele, feine Restaurants. Wir konnten gar nicht alle ausprobieren. Ich glaube fast, da müssen wir nochmals hin...

Lovely stay with amazing location

We felt really part of the small town of Uzes for the duration of our stay. We hardly left the town, other than short walks to Saint Quentin La Potteries to visit the museum and galleries. Market days are bustling, but every day was delightful. The Apartment had everything we needed and the view is simply from the living room is simply beautiful.

Location idéalement située au cœur d'Uzes

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Uzes. L'appartement est décoré avec goût. Week long stay in chic historical apartment

This lovely period property was as described and as in the photos. Full of charm and historical character in a fantastic location. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very clean. Uzès is a great town to base yourself to tour on day trips and the town itself has a lot going on. Brigitte met us on arrival on time and was helpful. Parking comes with the apartment which is very close by. The kitchen is well equipped but the one thing that could have been added to the property were some staples in the kitchen such as sugar, salt, oil, coffee, tea etc. For the most part we were happy with our stay. Thank you to Brigitte & Manon for your hospitality.

Un appartement idéal pour profiter d'Uzès

Noue avons passé 6 jours délicieux dans cet appartement de charme, dont la vue sur le château d'Uzès nous ravissait de jour comme de nuit: propre, doté d'une literie confortable et meublé avec sobriété et élégance. L'accueil de Madame Favand était excellent également

Madame Favand est charmante et notre séjour a été très agréable.

Appartement spacieux , confortable et en plein centre d'Uzès. Cela nous a permis de faire nos courses, nos petites balades du soir et d'aller au restaurant ( grand choix) sans reprendre la voiture.

Wonderful little nest in a quiet heart of Uzes

The apartment is situated in a quiet and beautiful spot smack in the middle of old Uzes. It has lots of charm, with high, painted, coffered ceilings. The appliances and kitchen ware all in good condition and worked well. The apartment is only a few steps from restaurants, boulangeries, and facilities in old Uzes. Mme Favand was extremely helpful. She met us at the apartment according to our schedule and she pre-arranged parking for our car in the underground garage close by the apartment. We had bicycles that were easily accommodated in the foyer on the ground floor, We would not hesitate to stay again when we are in Uzes. What a treat!

Wonderful Apartment with Amazing View of Le Duché

My wife and I spent a week in this lovely apartment and were very happy. The apartment, itself, has everything one might need and is very practical. The weather was cold during our stay and we were happy to return each evening to our cozy, warm apartment! The location of the apartment is perfect as it's right in the middle of historic Uzès. It's also very close to where we parked our car (secure underground parking nearby). The view of the Duché from the apartment is incredible! Uzès is such a beautiful town. For its size, it has a surprising amount of restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, etc. I would recommend Uzès as a base for any Provence vacation because of its proximity to Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, and the Camargue. Brigitte was wonderful and remained at our disposal throughout the week, but we didn't have any need to ever call her. I highly recommend this apartment!

Uzes is a gorgeous village and this apartment is matching

This apartment is in the heart of the village and you'll just love it - all of it. The owner came to my rescue and picked me up after a long train and bus ride, she is an absolute delight. She even went a step further and booked me a taxi for a smooth exit. I love Uzes and loved hiking to the river from both directions, and I was right in the centre of all the action. The town markets, especially the Saturday one are fabulous - and as a vegetarian, I hope you find the organic shop up side street from Casino super marche I will come again to stay in this apartment, if she will have me - loved it

Lovely apartment in a lovely town

My husband and I were very comfortable in this apartment during our five day stay in Uzès, and we felt quite fortunate to have found it. We reserved it many months ago, and Brigitte was very helpful and responsive by email to all of our questions as we got closer to our arrival. The view out the living room window was stunning, night and day. As other reviewers mention, the bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment was spacious enough for us to feel relaxed and uncrowded. The kitchen provided us with everything we needed to cook dinners three of our four nights in Uzès, and we appreciated having the small but very functional washing machine. We were plenty warm in the apartment, even though the temperature outside was quite cold. A stack of books and maps about the town and general area helped us get oriented and plan our day trips in this extraordinarily beautiful area. The apartment is perfectly located in this charming and walkable village. Uzès's market in the Place aux Herbes (Saturdays and Wednesdays) is fabulous. We had a delicious dinner at La Fille des Vignes one evening, and it looks like there are several other nice restaurants within a couple minutes' walk of the apartment. I definitely recommend this apartment and this town.

A wonderful apartment in Uzès!

My sister and I spent a week in Brigitte's lovely apartment in Uzès. She warmly welcomed us upon arrival and personally showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. It is in a great location (la Place du Duché) for walking around town, only a few minutes walk to La Place aux Herbes, the town center. Having a nearby underground parking spot included with the apartment made it so convenient when we wanted to take a drive to explore the surrounding area. The apartment is very clean and spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped if you decide to prepare your own meals. The dishwasher and washing machine are also great to have for a long stay. Even when it is warm outside, there is a lovely breeze that comes in. The best part of all is the incredible view out the window of the Duché d'Uzes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and we highly recommend it!

Wonderful experience in a real French apartment!

I just returned from a 5 week stay in an apartment that was perfect for me! If you're looking to stay in American style accomodations, book a 5 star hotel or resort. My purpose was to live as regular French people live. (One caveat....one set of turret steps). This apartment met my every need & Briggite is a wonderful hostess. Thank you again, Brigitte! See you next year!!
