Sea & mountains, natural sounds & fragrances. Tie your shoes after breakfast and start your hiking, get ready to find swimming spots or feel immerse by vegetation. Stay at the pool, or go visiting old towns. Ideal house for families, couples, kids... everyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday!

At north, fantastic views from the terraces to the Atlantic Ocean and access to a pedestrian stone pathway that runs up and down along the cliff-lined coast. Great views of tall gorgeous mountains at South from the garden, with pool and barbecue.

The swimming pool and the garden with barbecue is a fantastic place for kids to play, or for adults to forget about the routine life. It has an extensive parking zone too. Everything is enclosed and private. Feel comfortable and free to use all products and utensils.

We and many guests we have received believe that our house is a really special place within the wonderful environment in which it is located.

La casa es perfecta

Pues hemos disfrutado durante una semana de la casa de Teresa y Carlos. Hemos estado con nuestros dos hijos de 5 y 7 años y todo ha sido perfecto. Han tenido muchos detalles para los peques y hemos estado como en nuestra propia casa. La ubicación es muy buena para conocer el norte de la isla. La casa como se ve en las fotos, limpia, amplia, con una gran piscina para disfrutar de los días calurosos. Por la parte trasera tiene salida a un bonito paseo hasta las aguas donde hay varios restaurantes, de camino también ien hay un bonito charco donde bañarse a apenas 5 minutos andando. Carlos siempre ha estado atento y dispuesto para lo que hiciera falta. Sin duda es un alojamiento totalmente recomendable y donde volveremos en un futuro a seguir descubriendo la belleza de la isla.

Sea Breezes and Sunsets

Very comfortable and well equipped villa within a childs stones throw of the sea, albeit over a cliff. The villa sits right on the coastal path and is in slightly strenuous (for a pair of fairly unfit pensioners) walking distance of a small village with some quite good restaurants - assuming you like fresh seafood. The beds are comfortable and the network connection is good. Communications were good with the host throughout our stay. I would have added pics but it seems the site doesn't support heic formats...

Perfect stay

The whole experience couldn't have been better. A beautiful property. Clean, spacious, comfortable, plenty of amenities and thoughtfully provisioned. Wonderful cliff top location with a back gate leading out to a super coastal path. Easy access to Teide and nearby towns plus spacious private parking. When we return to Tenerife we will surely want to stay here again.

Perfekter Rückzugsort zum Ausspannen

Wir hatten einen ganz wundervollen Urlaub in diesem richtig tollen Ferienhaus. Das Haus, der Pool und der Garten sind ausgezeichnet gepflegt. Eine einzigartig ruhige Lage direkt am Atlantik, Meeresrauschen und Hühner und Hähne der Nachbarn. Ein kleines Paradies. Der Kontakt zum allzeit erreichbaren Verwalter Carlos war super lieb und so fanden wir z.B. bei Ankunft ein "Willkommenspaket" (Milch, Toast, Wein, Eier,...) vor. Wir wollen gerne wieder kommen. Unbedingte Buchungsempfehlung!

Vacances entre amies à Ténérife Aurelie et Isabelle

Nous avons été accueillies chaleureusement par Domingo, malgré l’heure tardive à laquelle nous sommes arrivées. La maison est magnifique, bien au delà de nos espérances. Très bien équipée à tous niveaux, nous n’avons manqué de rien, sans compter le panier alimentaire offert par Carlos, que nous remercions encore pour son accueil, sa gentillesse et ses conseils . D’un côté vue sur les montagnes, de l’autre à front de mer, on s’endort avec le doux bruit des vagues. Cette maison est vraiment une PÉPITE que je recommande vivement ! S’il fallait la noter je lui mettrais 20 sur 10!!! J’y retournerai avec certitude Aurélie et isabelle

Das Haus und die Umgebung waren sehr schön. Es war sauber, ein kleines "Starterset" lag im Kühlschrank. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die KInder haben nur eine Spülmaschine vermisst :-). Jetzt schätzen Sie unsere umso mehr. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

2 Wochen im August

Das Haus ist wunderbar gepflegt und seine Einrichtung entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Der Kontakt zu Carlos ist unkompliziert, unaufdringlich und freundlich. Das Haus liegt im Norden der Insel, sodass es nie so heiß wie im Süden war; allerdings blieben schon mal Wolken an den Bergen hängen, unter 25 Grad waren es jedoch tagsüber nie. Nachts war es auch ohne Klimaanlage nie zu warm im Haus. Traumhaft sind generell die Lage direkt an der Steilküste und die Sonnenuntergänge. Das Haus ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar über die nah gelegene TF-5, von der eine enge, aber gut asphaltierte Straße zum kleinen Küstendorf führt. Die allerletzten Meter zum Haus sind die engsten. Wir kamen aber sogar mit einem mittelgroßen SUV gut bis auf den hauseigenen Stellplatz. Alternativ stehen 50m entfernt ausreichend viele und kostenlose Parkplätze bereit. Unsere beiden Kinder waren willkommen und fühlten sich schnell wohl. Ihr Highlight war der Pool, der größer ist, als es die Bilder vermuten lassen. Das Wasser war kristallklar, nicht überchlort und bot eine gute Erfrischung. Unsere Kinder waren jeden Tag im Pool, an wolkigen Tagen mit kurzem Neopren. Wer Ruhe vor Touristenströmen sucht, auf Hitze und Strandparty verzichten möchte und das bekommen möchte, was gebucht wurde, ist hier genau richtig. Beim nächsten Mal Teneriffa ist Carlos sicherlich unser erster Kontakt.

We had a wonderful stay at El Mar. Everything was perfect. Carlos gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. The house is well equipped. Carlos even arranged a nice bottle of wine, cheese and bread for the first evening. The place is nice with a lovely garden and pool. The view to the ocean on the other side of the house is outstanding. We can recommend the holiday home El Mar. Raimund and Ute 17 May 2024

Needed a bit of sun

The comunication from the owner was prompt and very friendly also very helpful. Carlos will respond to all questions prior to and while in the property clearly and in a very friendly manner. The property is very well equipped and extremely tidy. One of the nice ideas is that the previous visitors have left some esentials ( tea coffee ect) for the next visitors and the owners left a welcome package as well. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the island wanting a relaxing quiet stay.

Lovely house in a great location

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house! It is situated very close to the sea (you can see the waves from the terrace and the large upstairs balcony), and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks is a constant companion. The house was clean with a reasonably well equipped kitchen, the two bedrooms comfortable and a good size. The garden is very well mantained, with a large tree to provide shade in the afternoon. The pool was super, and the whole garden area felt enclosed and private. Carlos was very welcoming and helpful, and remained in contact throughout our stay if we needed help with anything. The beach is only a few minutes walk away, but you can't really swim there, as the waves and rocks are too wild. The location is a good base to explore the island. We had a hire car so can't say anything about the local transport, but most journeys took between 30 mins and an hour, often along very bendy roads! Some of the walks we wanted to do were closed due to the recent fires, but there was still plenty of dramatic landscape to admire in other parts of the island. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, and loves to hear the sound of the sea!

Sommerurlaub

Ich kann mich den anderen Rezessionen hier nur anschließen. Das Haus liegt in traumhafter, ruhiger Lage, bei der ein Auto allerdings ein Muss ist. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, lief einwandfrei. Sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Fragt immer ml wieder, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Rundum ein schöner Urlaub. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und bedanken uns für erholsame Tage.

Superbe location en bord de mer

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison très bien située à proximité immédiate de la mer et dans un endroit préservé. La maison est spacieuse et dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Le jardin est fleuri et la piscine très agréable. Bon contact avec le propriétaire qui nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires. Une voiture est indispensable.

Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft. Es liegt direkt über dem Atlantik in einem ganz kleinen Ort. Es gibt zwei Terrassen, eine liegt zum Wasser raus und man kann dort den herrlichen Blick aufs Meer genießen. Wenn die Brise mal ein wenig frischer ist, kann man auf der Rückseite des Hauses die zweite Terrasse nutzen, hier hat man den Blick auf die Berge. Der Pool ist gut gepflegt und wir haben ihn Ende März ausgiebig genutzt. Man braucht ein Auto, dafür ist man aber auch abseits der Touristenströme. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und waren jeden Abend froh über die Ruhe (bis auf das wunderbare Tosen des Meeres). Die Schlüsselübergabe und der Check out waren unkompliziert und die Vermieter stehen für Fragen jederzeit telefonisch zur Verfügung. Für den ersten Abend stand eine Flasche Wein bereit und für das erste Frühstück müsste man auch nicht einkaufen gehen, Toast, Milch, Butter, Marmelade, Wasser, Kaffee, usw. alles vorhanden. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich und sollten wir wieder nach Teneriffa reisen, dann gerne wieder in das Casa El Mar.

My family and I live 10 minutes distance by car, so anything you need or any inconvenience we are just right there to help you out. We will meet you on the arrival at a service station which is easy to find coming from the highway. Then, take you to the house and explain all the details, sign the occupational contract, give you the keys, and tell you any additional information you wish to listen to. After booking, we will send you all the necessary information about how to get here. We are open to any suggestion or request, so just feel free to ask us at any moment.

We have been renting this house for years, loving listening to the stories of our guests from all over the world. Many of them coming back to stay more than once.
